Zhang Dong is my best friend. He entered our class last semester. He is a boy. Both of us are good at English, so we often have a chat in English in our spare time. After school, we often play football together on the playground. He runs so fast that I can not catch up with him. He is an excellent student. He not only gets good marks in all subjects but also is very kind and modest. He loves popular songs and also classical music.

There are three people in his family and he is the only child. His father is a doctor and his mother is a Beijing Opera actress. Though Zhang Dongs family is wealthy, he is usually simply dressed. He has a dream which is to be a lawyer.

In recent years, Chinese traditional culture, as Sinology, has become increasingly prevalent. For instance, it is reported that many primary and secondary schools have set up courses of sinology, in which students are taught and required to recite classical work by Chinese ancient educators and philosophers, like Confucius.

It is of vital significance for the public to acquire knowledge on Sinology.For one thing, it is the essence of Chinese civilization with more than 5000 years. Thus, for individuals, they can enlarge their scope of knowledge, enrich their experience and adapt themselves to the complicated society. For another, the rehabilitation of Sinology can contribute to a harmonious society.

It is highly expected that all Chinese people should inherit the merits of Sinology. Therefore, in the first place, we are well-advised to read books by ourselves or to attend lectures on this issue. In the second place, we have the obligation to advocate and encourage others to learn. Then, it is necessary for us to introduce Sinology to the world. I have a good friend. She is active and cute. And she is a clever girl. She has two big eyes, a small nose, a red month and a pink face. But she is a little short and thin. She is only 140 cm tall

She can do all the housework. She can sweep the floor, cook the meals, wash the clothes and put away the clothes. So she is helpful. She always helps her mother on weekends. She is a good girl. On the weekends, she often plays with me, too.

Her favourite food is ice-cream. And watermelons is her favourite fruit. She has many hobbies. She likes eating, playing sports and reading books. She likes spring very much. She said it’s so beautiful. And the weather is fine and warm. She likes fall too. Because she can eat a lot of fruits. But I like summer best. It’s hot. We can swim in the swimming pool.
