Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Others may have trouble in writing. I also had problems in English learning, but my difficulty seemed to lie in listening. 上思品课的时候，老师给我们讲解过食品安全的有关知识，我当时没怎么在意，只顾着打瞌睡，谁知道这以后不久，我就尝到了不懂“食品安全”的苦果。那一天放学回家路上，我闻到路边的烧烤摊上传出诱人的香味，禁不住和一帮同学围了上去。摊住主正在烧烤羊肉串，上面洒上辣椒油，在红红的碳火上滋滋地响着。我禁不住打了个喷嚏，口水就快流下来了。摊主烧烤完毕，把羊肉串递给在旁边等待的一位同学，他用嘴巴吹了两口气，也不顾烫不烫就塞到嘴巴里津津有味地吃开了。我摸摸口袋，还有十元钱，正要掏出来的时候，耳朵边又响起了妈妈的声音：“不要在路边小摊上买东西吃，要吃东西和妈妈说，我带你去店里吃。”可是，现在已经傍晚了，我的肚子已经开始咕咕叫了，这么香喷喷的烤羊肉串，我实在就禁不住诱惑啊。我吞了一下口水，终于把钱掏出来，买了两串。吃完了香辣的羊肉串，抹一抹嘴巴，我高兴地往家里走，肚子里还火辣辣的，这一种充实的感觉真舒服。回到家正好开饭，我匆匆扒了两口就上楼写作业去了。到了作业写到一半，肚子突然刀搅般疼痛，我大声呻吟着往卫生间跑，却不敢喊妈妈，她知道我吃了小摊上的羊肉串，非虎着脸训我一顿不可。谁知道肚子痛起来没完没了，我只得求助妈妈，送到医院打点滴了。吃一堑，长一智，从那以后，我就怕了小摊上的食品了，吃什么东西都要向妈妈说明，让妈妈代替我选择。现在，学校里开展“关注食品安全，共创健康美好生活”的活动，使我懂得了更多，我不仅自己注意食品安全，还常常劝说同学们注意食品安全。

My idol is Chairman Mao. I think he must be many people’s idol. He is a great hero. It is him makes us live a better life. Without him, maybe we still can’t satisfy our hunger nowadays. We may not live comfortable, eat delicious food and so on. All the happiness we have now maybe is due to his wise leadership. Though he made mistakes once, no one is perfet. I admire him. I think all the people should respect him.

我的偶像是毛主席。我想他一定是很多人的偶像。他是一个伟大的英雄。是他使我们过上了更好的生活。没有他，也许我们还不能解决温饱问题。我们也许不能舒适的住着，吃美味的食物等。我们现在所有的幸福生活都是源于他的英明领导。尽管他曾经也犯过错误，但是人无完人。我很敬佩他。我觉得所有人都应该尊敬他。
