暑假也能听课?没听错吧!是不是去补习啊?非也!非也!欲知情，请君捧杯茶，边品边听。

中考结束后，我迷上了网上冲浪。一次偶然机会，我被“网络课程”几个字吸引住了。网上听课，新鲜!将要步入高一了，给自己充充电，何乐而不为呢?于是我抱着试一试的心态打开了网页，捣鼓一番后，总算是报名好了。两天后，我就接到了通知，当晚7点，benson老师要给我们上课。当时我可乐坏了，以致于在电话里头将“thankyouverymuch”说成了“verythankyou”!(丢人啊!)

那天晚上6点多，我就端着杯铁观音，屁颠屁颠地赶到电脑前准备听课。刚入“课堂”便发现人还真不少，而且都来自五湖四海。嘿嘿!网络课程的功能还不一般，能使分散各地志趣相投的人欢聚一堂，大家虽未谋面，但“谈吐”间却像老朋友一样轻松`畅快!

“同学们，上课了!”一个极富磁性和感召力的声音响起，是老师!我原本就不平静的心又兴奋起来，我赶紧敲着字块向老师问好。(听课时只有老师能使用麦克风，没有视频)“课堂”并没有想像的那么严肃`枯燥。因为benson老师太具亲和力了。他对我们像对自己的朋友，又像是对自己的弟弟。他以幽默风趣的方式向我们揭示了中国式英语的弊端，又旁征博引，举了些例子叫我们发正确的美式发音，还叮嘱我们要多练习听说，掌握美式发音的规则。那口气虽认真郑重却也不乏和蔼。

由于没有视频，谁也不认识谁，我们一改平时上课时小心谨慎的姿势，大胆起来了，纷纷积极响应老师，跟着老师纠正自己的发音`口形。接着一缕茶香，我也竟洋洋洒洒地记了几页笔记，“不知耻”地跟着老师吼”了几声。(反正他们听不见)

那一节课下来，我真是获益匪浅啊!不只是学到了新知识，交到了新朋友，还获得极大地快乐!

那一次后，我迷上了“网络课程”。上百成千名素不相识的学生，在老师的带领下，在奇妙的科学海洋里里畅游，在变化多端的电脑程序中飞驰，在字母堆积成的高塔徘徊。我们一起讨论各种问题，交流学习心得，走出学习误区。网络课程让我享受到了无穷无尽的乐趣!

一包好吃嚼着，一杯清茶泡着，一个舒适的姿势坐着，一只手不紧不慢地按着，收获着知识，交流着感想，享受着乐趣，真是幸哉!悠哉!乐哉!益哉!

不知不觉，这个暑假已经过半，在这近一个月的假期时光中，我身边有趣的事还真不少。

如逗蝉。正值盛夏时节，小区里树的枝头，蝉叫个不停。有时我就会和几个小伙伴，到小区的树下观察蝉。蝉们在树梢上尽情地施展着自己的歌喉，那天籁之音时而低沉，时而高亢。有时一树的蝉停下歌唱，紧接着另一树的蝉开始欢唱，有时好几树的蝉同时放声高歌，活像一个合唱团。

当蝉集中注意力唱歌时，我们会突然使劲摇树枝，随着几片树叶掉落的“哗哗”声，几只蝉掉在地上。胆大的，飞快跑上前一弯腰，手一伸，抓住蝉放入瓶中，胆子小怕虫的伙伴就只能跑得远远地站着。

和蝉玩固然有趣，但大多数暑假时间，我都在上兴趣班，做作业，所以并没有太多时间在户外玩。所以，我在家琢磨出了几件“小玩意儿”。

我会拿出几支没用过的铅笔，搭成支撑架的样子，把一个勺子放在架子上，一头用橡皮筋捆在支架上，平时舀汤勺的那端放上一块橡皮。这样，一个简单的投石机做好了。我把投石机放在客厅，先看准目标，然后使劲地把橡皮的一端向下压。这时勺子另一端受到绑在支架上皮筋的巨大拉力，我一松手，勺子一挑，橡皮一下飞出好远。哈哈，这太有趣了。

除了投石机，我还做出了一种更为简单的皮筋枪。我把皮筋绑在直尺上，把一个笔盖套在皮筋上。我在皮筋后端轻轻一掀，皮筋和笔盖就会像离弦之箭飞速射出。对此我们乐此不疲，当然上课是不敢玩的哦，不然就被老师没收当垃圾处理了。

我的暑假生活有趣吗?让我们珍惜这暑假，珍惜我现在的暑期童年生活。

In 1620, the settlers, or Pilgrims, they sailed to America on the May flower, seeking a place where they could have freedom of worship. After a tempestuous two-month voyage they landed at in icy November, what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts.

During their first winter, over half of the settlers died of starvation or epidemics. Those who survived began sowing in the first spring.

All summer long they waited for the harvests with great anxiety, knowing that their lives and the future existence of the colony depended on the coming harvest. Finally the fields produced a yield rich beyond expectations. And therefore it was decided that a day of thanksgiving to the Lord be fixed . Years later, President of the United States proclaimed the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving Day every year. The celebration of Thanksgiving Day has been observed on that date until today.

The pattern of the Thanksgiving celebration has never changed through the years. The big family dinner is planned months ahead. On the dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes. There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years.

Everyone agrees the dinner must be built around roast turkey stuffed with a bread dressing to absorb the tasty juices as it roasts. But as cooking varies with families and with the regions where one lives, it is not easy to get a consensus on the precise kind of stuffing for the royal bird.

Thanksgiving today is, in every sense, a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks for the year s bounty and reverently ask for continued blessings.

记得五年级时，有一次周末爸爸妈妈都不在家，干什么呢!突然脑袋里突发了一个想法，把家里来个“大扫除，”也能体验到妈妈打扫卫生的辛苦。

于是，我便向卫生间走去把拖把用水清洗干净挂在衣架上，拿着扫把向客厅走去。先开始，我心情极了，慢慢地，仔细地把地上每一个垃圾打扫得彻彻底底，扫不到的地方就蹲下来：用手把角落里的垃圾给扒拉出来，再站起来用扫把垃圾扫在一堆。不一会儿垃圾就好似变成了一座小山，尖尖地突出来。

“嘀嗒”一颗晶莹剔透的汗珠掉在了地上，我用手擦了擦了额头上的汗水，本想继续打扫的，可是浑身疼痛的，不得不吃力地走到沙发旁，一屁股坐在了沙发上，一动不动，好像空气也在那一瞬间凝固了，时间也停留在了这。我多么希望时间能停留下来，这样我可以用很长很长的时间来休息，这种感觉真的很好很爽，但我想到，妈妈打扫卫生时，也很累很累，但是也坚持下来，把地打扫地干干净净才会休息，可我呢!

才打扫到一半就泄气了，这么小的事情就把我难倒了，俗话说“世上无难事，只怕有心人”只要我们有坚持不懈的信念，什么事情都能成功的。想了这里，我站了起来，拿着扫把继续扫起来……终于我扫完了，欣喜若狂的我连眼泪都快掉下来了。

虽然，打扫卫生有太多太多的辛苦，但是成功后的快乐却是无法用语言来形容的。我好开心，因为我不但学会了打扫卫生，而且懂得了“不经历风雨，怎么见彩虹”的真正含义。的确，只要有一颗持之以恒的心，做什么事情都一定会成功!!!

The summer vacation had come again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all the knowledges that my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. 时间飞逝。我的暑假就要结束了。我的假期一般般。在假期一开始的时候，我写家庭作业。毕竟，学习是最重要的嘛。我做完作业后，几乎到了七月底了。是时候帮助家人收获了。干农活是如此的累。然而，作为家庭的一员，我不得不帮忙。虽然我只是帮了一点点，但是看着那些成果我感到很骄傲。干完农活后，我发现自己变得更黑了。不过，谁在乎呢。当我完成了所有的事情就是我的快乐时光。我几乎每天都和我的朋友出去玩。有时我们玩游戏或运动或去爬山。有时我们晚上出去购物，因为白天太阳太烈了。我们觉得难受。但现在离开学还有两天的时间。所以我必须呆在家里为学习养精蓄锐。一切都是那么的美好。现在已经十一点了。我想是该说晚安的时候了。

暑假就要到来了，我已经为它制定了一个忙绿的计划表了。

首先，我会找一份兼职，也许在我家附近的工厂工作，这样我就可以陪陪我父母。其次，之前我参加了一个小提琴的培训班，因为我对它很有兴趣。所以，我会在家多多联系。因为正如谚语所说的，熟能生巧。在假期末尾的时候，我会去好好地玩一玩。我比较想和朋友去旅行，也许去云南，也许是其他地方。去那些我从来没去过的地方肯定可以开拓我的视野。
