“呜——喵呜——喵呜……”不见其“物”，只闻其声，我就知道是外婆邻居周哥哥家那可爱的大花猫回来了。唉?真奇怪!猫猫嘴里怎么有根“花皮带”?还发出“咝咝”的声音?我不敢相信自己的眼睛，还是眼见为实，去看看好了。

于是，我就气喘吁吁的跑到周哥哥家，问：“猫……嘴里……的‘皮带’是……是什么东西呀?”

“皮带?啊哈哈哈!”周哥哥大笑起来，笑得前俯后仰，笑得我莫名其妙。周哥哥笑够了，便擦了擦笑出的眼泪，向我解释：“猫把臭花蛇叼回来，我爷爷用又粗又长的木棍儿把它砸出了血。”说着指了指鸡圈旁边的蛇。那蛇一动不动的躺在血泊中，让人看了还真蛮可怜的。

“既然——它已经一动不动了，那表示它已经死了，我可不想看到这样又恶心又可怜的场面，see you!我回家了!”我跨开步子准备往家走。

“别走!可能蛇在装死!”周哥哥拉住了我。

“装死?别开国际玩笑了，蛇还能有这样聪明的头脑?”虽然嘴上这样说，可我还是好奇地停住了脚步。

周哥哥将一根不太长的木棍像飞镖一样向蛇“射去”。当木棍扔到蛇身上时，那蛇的头竟然动了几下!接着它的大嘴张了张，又吐了吐舌头，然后朝我们望了望，像瞪仇人似的，接着朝鸡圈旁边的菜地里慢慢地游去。

周哥哥呆了，好一会儿，他才回过神儿说：“蛇……真的……会装死，你去……把……它砸死吧!”我也傻了眼，听到周哥哥话后忙说：“你一个男子汉都怕，何况我这个弱女子呢!”

那蛇一步步离我们远去，我们急得手足无措。说时迟，那时快，身手矫健的周爷爷迅速冲了上去，用锹将蛇打死。

真是百闻不如一见，通过蛇诈死这件事，我明白了不要被事情的假象所迷惑，一定要搞清楚真相，以免上当受骗。
