林老师，我还想对您说，您虽然爱我、疼我，可您也不放过我的每一次过错。记得有一次上课时，我开小差，和同桌说起了前一天的考试。被您发现了，您用严厉的目光盯着我们，好像在告诉我：“这是上课，请不要说话！”我赶紧闭上了嘴，专心听起课来。以后每当我上课想说话时，就会想起您严厉的目光……

听妈妈说老师是辛勤地园丁，我们是小小的花朵，我们会在您的培养下茁壮成长。谢谢您，亲爱的林老师！我一定不辜负您的期望，好好学习，用实际行动来报答您，让喜悦的笑容永远绽放在您的脸上！

The main function of public libraries is to provide books for people to

read.In a library,there are books on different subjects,such as Chinese

history,fine art,science,English literature,and so on.There are also works fo

fiction.

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

because many people,especially students who want to consult reference books for

their school work,know that they could at least learn something there.

Besides reading in the library,we can also borrow books with library

cards.But books on loan had to be returned within a couple of weeks.As far as I

know the number of people who borrow books from public libraries is increasing

year after year.

I go to the City Hall library twice a month to read.
