我心里明白，成长路遥远又漫长，实现梦想也不是嘴上说说就真能做到，但我还是要加倍努力。我不渴望能当人人崇拜的明星，只想当一位小小的演员就心满意足了。我要有耐心，一步一步朝着坎坷的梦想路前进，总有一天，我一定能达到重点，夺下梦想之旗。

一天下午，大象广播员向森林里的所有动物宣告：明天下午要举行比美大赛，各自报名参加！报名处：广播站。这个广播刚一播完，许许多多的动物都一窝蜂地向广播站跑去，报名的有猴子小姐、麻雀姑娘、袋鼠妹妹等，当然还有美丽无比的孔雀小姐。孔雀小姐认为比美大赛的冠军一定是她的，于是第二天下午，她把自己打扮得漂漂亮亮的，玫瑰膏令她的嘴唇像玫瑰般娇艳，眉毛油令她的眉毛像月牙弯弯，她看起来是如此的美丽。

孔雀小姐向森林的舞台走过去的时候，所有的动物都被她的美丽折服了。孔雀小姐暗暗自喜：哈哈，这个比美大赛的冠军，非我莫属！这时，小猫又对孔雀小姐说：“你可真美呀！我们肯定拿不到冠军了。”小猫的夸赞又给她增添了几分信心。于是，她虚心地说：“你也很美啊，都好好加油吧！”其实她心里想：想跟我比美，没门儿！

正当孔雀小姐得意的时候，一只脏兮兮的小熊向她求助：“孔雀姐姐，我找不着家了，请你帮我找找家吧！”谁知她一脸气愤地说：“不帮，你那么脏，会弄坏我漂亮的妆容的，快走开！”说完，她骄傲地离开了。

接着，又来了一只小麻雀，小熊又对小麻雀说：“小麻雀，我找不着家了，你帮帮我吧！”小麻雀毫不犹豫地说：“好呀，你的家在哪儿？具体地点你知道吗？”小熊说：“在小河的北边。”小麻雀很快就帮小熊找到了家。

小熊的爸爸听说小麻雀要参加比美大赛，于是送给了她很多的祝福。可小麻雀万万没有想到，小熊是节目组特别安排的，而这一切早就被猴子摄像大叔拍摄了下来。当他在全场播放了那短片的时候，全场动物都低下了头，都高喊着这次比赛的冠军是小麻雀。只有孔雀不服，她生气地说：“我比她漂亮得多，为什么要把奖牌颁给她？”主持人凤凰姐姐说：“只有心灵美，才是最美的！”
