第二天，诸葛亮把从鲁肃那里借来的二十艘快船推入水中，船上插满了草人，并下令向曹军水寨进发。这一天正好有雾，曹军的视线不好，错把草人当成了士兵。霎时间，曹军朝草船万箭齐发，都射在了草人的身上。每条船上足足有五六千支箭，二十条船上轻而易举凑齐了十万多支箭，周瑜哑口无言，计划落空。

诸葛亮最令人感动的便是他对刘备的忠心。他为蜀国鞠躬尽瘁、死而后已，在刘备疾病缠身的那一段时间里，诸葛亮对他的关怀可以说是无微不至。刘备死后，有才能的诸葛亮并没有称王称帝之心，而是全力帮助后主刘禅带兵打仗，管理国家大事，对待刘备的孩子就像对自己的亲生儿子那样，但是蜀国有才能的人都相继死去，诸葛亮一个人独木难支，难管朝政，最终死去。他在临死时还在关心着国家大事。

诸葛亮这个令人感动的历史人物，在历史的长河中永远熠熠生辉，永远不会被人忘却。
