Rong is first world champion

When China was hungry for their first world title to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Peoples Republic of China table tennis player Rong Guotuan made their dream come true.

Rong became New Chinas first world champion after he won the mens singles title at the 25th World Table Tennis Championships, in former West Germany on April 5, 1959.

Before the championships, the team had pinned their gold hopes on the mens team. But their dream of a world team title was destroyed by the Hungarian team in the semifinal match, losing three games to five.

After a chain of （一系列） unexpected defeats to Chinese favoured for the title, Rong carried the heavy hopes to make a breakthrough.

Rongs rival in the final was top Hungarian paddler Ferenc Sido.

My mother is 38 years old, but she never tells others how old she is. She says she just doesnt want them to know about it! My mother is a well-known doctor in our area. She works hard. She often gets up very early in the morning and rushes to the hospital to look after her patients. She is kind to her patients and treats them the way she treats her family. Sometimes I wonder whom she loves more, her patients or me.

My father is 40 years old. He has short hair, big eyes and a small mouth. He is my best friend.

My father is a teacher. Just like my mother, he is very busy. He doesn?ˉt have any holidays or weekends. My Summer

I love summer very much. In summer, its hot, and sometimes its rainy. People wear T-shirts, shorts and sunglasses. Girls love to wear dresses and skirts.

I love smimming in summer. So I always go swimming with my parents in the sea. Sometimes, I like to play basketball on the playground with my friends if its not very hot.

My favourite food in summer is ice-cream. Its very cold and sweet. Its delicious for me in summer.

我最喜欢的书中人物是弗瑞丝老师，她来自《神奇校车》里，是一个很古怪的老师。她经常带同学们到意想不到的地方去疯狂的探险，比如说：去火山里看岩浆、去海里看鲨鱼、去龙卷风走廊看龙卷风、去云层里看冰雹、去天空看雷电。

弗瑞丝老师的头发卷卷的，所以同学们都亲切的叫她卷毛老师。每次上课前同学们都会看她穿什么图案的衣服，再猜她今天又要带大家去什么奇怪的地方。有一次她穿着带着鲨鱼图案的衣服来了，同学们都吓坏了，说：“糟糕！今天完了，难道我们是要去看鲨鱼吗？我的天啊！”

她有一辆看起来很古老，但实际不得了的校车！她的校车可以变小、变大，可以变成直升机、潜水艇、冲浪板，还可以变成太空飞船呢！

弗瑞丝老师为什么要带同学们去那么危险的地方呢？那是因为这样能让同学们留下的印象会很深刻，让同学们学到更多的大自然的奥秘，我喜欢这样的弗瑞丝老师。

Respected Professors，Good afternoon! Im great honored to meet you here.  Im ，26 years old ， born in city ， Province.In the year of ，I entered University， majoring in Machincal Designing and Producing. During those 4 yearsstudy，I worked hard and I was always active in various activities. I gained the first scholarship for four times and I joined the Communist Party at the college.

However，with time going on ，the more I experienced， the clearer I realized that Im really interested in the Enterprise Management .I find many enterprises have the problem of an unmatched management to its developing speed . Im eager to learn more about management and I hope I can study further in this University.

我最喜欢的卡通人物是《猫和老鼠》中的老鼠杰瑞。

它的耳朵很大，简直就是两把大扇子，而且它的耳朵可以随意地动，热时可以把耳朵当作扇子扇一扇，冷的时候就用耳朵当作帽子包住脑袋，它的耳朵还有很多的作用呢！它还有一个大大的脑袋，像一个圆圆的乒乓球，有时腿跑得不够快时就用头放在地上滚着走，真可爱！

因为他的头太大了，所以它每次被猫追时都能想出绝好的妙计。比如，有一次猫追它时，它趁猫没发现，悄悄拨打了除猫热线，并且模仿猫的主人的语气说：“我家有一只可恶的猫，快来帮我消灭它！”它真是模仿得惟妙惟肖。过了不久，除猫队的人真的来了，把那只猫痛打了一顿。

这里的小鼠弟可不和现代生活中的鼠相同，现代生活中的鼠凡是坏事就少不了它，而这只小鼠弟乐于助人，人人都喜欢它！

别看它很讨厌那只猫，它也有跟猫联手的时候。有一次，猫的主人家来了三只小猫，那三只小猫总是欺负大猫，老鼠不忍心看猫被欺负，便与猫联手做了一个带有马达的木飞机，猫开着飞机上升下降，一下子就把三只小猫给治服了！

我之所以喜欢这只小老鼠，是因为它活泼可爱、机智勇敢、乐于助人。

My home town is a beautiful place。 It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice。

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town。 Many people had no work。 They lived a hard life。
