这几年我们的长江、黄河上游的人们砍伐树木，不保护环境，使得长江、黄河上游的水和土壤流失的很厉害，长江下游经常发洪水，黄河的水里有好多泥沙。我们新疆的塔里木河是我国最长的内陆河，塔里木河岸边的胡杨林是可以用来吸住泥土不会出现沙尘暴，可是人们在塔里木河的上游大面积开荒截水使得下游河水干枯，造成上百万亩的胡杨林死亡。至使本来就很贫瘠的土地，更加沙漠化。我们乌鲁木齐的人家做饭、取暖的烟囱冒出来的黑烟和汽车尾气的大量排放使的空气被污染。使乌鲁木齐的冬天看不到蓝天，雪也是黑的。

我在电视看见韩国的饭店用的筷子都是金属做的，可以反复用。可是在我们国家大大小小的饭店全是用的一次性筷子，据我了解一棵生长五十年的桦树只够十家饭店一天用的筷子的数量，中国有多少家饭店?一天要用多少棵桦树啊!!

对于我们校学生来讲要保护环境，首先要从不要乱人垃圾果皮纸屑，见到有人乱扔垃圾要给他讲道理。大人们也不要砍伐树木，这样会污染环境。要从节约每一滴水、每一度电做起、从小树立保护环境的意识，做到保护环境，人人有责。使我们的家园更美好!

我的家乡在湖北荆州，荆州有一条河，叫护城河。以前的护城河风景如画，河水清澈见底，鱼儿在水里欢快地游泳，河面的荷花绽放像花仙子，一阵微风吹拂过来，一阵阵清香扑鼻而来。水草给小河铺上了绿色的锦缎，美极了。人们在河里捉鱼、游泳、洗衣服，护城河水与人们的生活息息相关。

城内的天空湛蓝深远，空气清新甜润。树木郁郁葱葱，各种各样的小花小草绽开在房前屋后，美不胜收。只要有人从那里走过，都会停下来，欣赏这迷人的风景。

可如今现在的护城河脏乱得不堪入目，水浑浊不堪。河面漂浮着垃圾与死鱼，臭气熏天，人们要掩鼻而过。钓的鱼，即使是活蹦乱跳，却不可以食用。

排污口遍布在河内，一股股发出恶臭的黄水，如同毒龙涌向河内。人们不再在河里游泳、捉鱼了。护城河水如病态的老人在呻吟。

城市的天空如今蒙蒙，天空不再是清新怡人。大街小巷痰迹满地，垃圾随处可见。现在的护城河好像已经变成废河了。

荆州的生态环境已经严重破坏，危害着我们每一个人的身体健康。保护荆州的环境是每一个荆州公民义不容辞的责任。为了荆州有清新的空气，为了有湛蓝深远的天空，为了到处都是鸟语花香、莺啼燕舞。让我们行动起来，也许只有这样，才能让以前迷人的风景回来。

“家园只有一个，地球不能克隆”。这个道理人人都懂，但想要每个人都做到这点，简直是难上加难。

以前有一家过得很幸福的熊，到了冬天必须出门砍树盖房，第一天砍了十几棵树，第二天又砍了十几棵树……直到有一天房子盖好了，森林的树木也全砍光了。这则故事告诉我们：砍树可以适量，到砍了还是要种值的，这样生态环境才能平衡。

以前有一对夫妇，他们住在乡村，那里的人都是不加节制的开采树木，但是那对夫妇一直在种树，直到有一天村民们发现如果没有那对夫妇一直在种树，这里的树木早就没有了，从此村民们减少了砍树量，而且也会边砍边植树木了。这则故事告诉人们：如果关砍不值，总有一天地球会灭亡。

从现在开始，爱护身边的一草一木还不算晚，以为“家园只有一个，地球不能克隆”。
