中国由于人口众多，曾被称作“骑在自行车上的国家”，现在，虽然家家户户都有了自己的私车，但交通繁忙，很可能导致交通事故，且许多司机“执法而不依法行事”（如：酒后驾车，硬闯红路灯，横冲马路）从而导致许许多多的人死于非命。
