因为班主任布置的经典小说的任务，我拿起了一直放在书架上的那本“外国名著”。——但是我并不喜欢。

对于我来说，那些枯燥的名著里并不会有现在言情小说里的轰轰烈烈，所以我一直对于名著有些抵抗。我也不知是不是先入为主的观念，所以让我觉得其他小说也理应如此。

但是当我翻开第一页的时候，我就有些惊讶，它并不像是其他小说一样开头就开始叙述感情线——也许是现在感情线主流小说的原因吧。

简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》语言非常精练，在故事方面有很大的空间，给人一个无限的遐想空间。若真用漂亮的词语来形容，我便要说：作者深厚的文字功底让我感觉像是做了一场梦，梦里如同掠过竹林的风，带给我竹林般的清凉，泉水般的清澈，让人随时随地沉迷于其中。

我能选择这本小说，应当是因为里面的爱情故事。当今的社会，有太多美好、不美好的故事了，所以当我每次觉得社会冷漠，并没有我想的那么温暖的时候，我就会寄情与网络上的言情小说，便一发不可收拾。

可是当我看完了这本书，我真心觉得——当初的想法错了。

这个世上的事情，总要是看自己用什么角度去看的。在这部描写爱情与婚姻的小说里，和我当初看的文章大相径庭。小说围绕班奈特太太如何把五个女儿嫁出去的主题展开。书中一共写了四队青年男女的结合，作者一一加以比较，批判，爱憎分明的阐述了自己的爱情与婚姻观。富有傲慢的达西和睿智具有反叛精神的伊丽莎白，温柔体贴的简和有权有势的宾利，以及莉迪亚和威克姆，夏洛蒂与柯林斯。

不同的文体风格让我感受了不同的样子，如同一位叫做伊丽莎白的女孩所追求的一样——面包、玫瑰。若两者不可得兼，舍玫瑰而取面包者也。

有的时候，这才是现实，即使我们还不能理解，但是终有一天会面临压力。可是心中追求爱、追求美的欲望却不会停滞。

书中的平等。《傲慢与偏见》，这个书名便是在平等的观念下产生的。

取其精华去其糟粕，让我们回归眼下，期待能看到更多发展的雏鹰。

好比一个景点，入口处能引人入胜的话，那确实能给游客带来无限的遐想和憧憬。“凡是有钱的单身汉，总想娶位太太，这已经成了一条举世公认的真理。这样的单身汉，每逢新搬到一个地方，四邻八舍虽然完全不了解他的性情如何，见解如何，可是，既然这样的一条真理早已在人们心目中根深蒂固，所以人们总是把他看作自我某一个女儿理所应得的一笔财产。”就这样开了个头，一个有着五个单身女儿的家族是如何将女儿们嫁出去的故事就接连着展开了。讽刺而幽默的笔触，营造了整篇的简便氛围，我想挺适合在这个鸟叫蝉鸣的暑假里来消遣时光，更何况再过几天就是七夕了呢!

就感情主题来说，女主人公伊丽莎小姐和男主人公达西先生的结合是比较富有故事性的，“首因效应”(人们交往时往往第一印象会给人带来先入为主的效果)使伊丽莎小姐认为达西先生是个自高自大、傲慢无礼的家伙，而这个评价就当时舞会上达西先生的表现来说，也并没有冤枉他。“她还能够，但还没有漂亮到打动我的心，眼前我可没有兴趣去抬举那些受到别人冷眼看待的小姐。”换做是任何一个单身小姐，听到一个陌生男人这样含沙射影般地评价，都会生厌，何况伊丽莎小姐是个有着明亮眼睛的聪明善良而聪明的女人。自此，“傲慢”便成为达西先生的代名词，当然，至少在伊丽莎小姐前期的心中是这样认为的。而这个标签是否就是合情合理的呢当然，随着故事的发展，“偏见”也越发冒头了，当伊丽莎小姐拜访了达西先生的庄园起，她就意识到自我对达西先生确实缺乏公正了。能够说，是“偏见”的消解促成了他们的幸福。伊丽莎小姐存在偏见，而达西先生又何尝没有偏见呢他看不惯她父母亲的行为举止，也看不上她家的地位和财势，尤其是她家还有几个穷亲戚，而除了她和她姐姐吉英外，她的三个妹妹他都有或多或少的不满意。于是，他就越发傲慢了，更做出了妨碍她姐姐吉英和彬格莱先生的感情的事情。

就社会性来说，小说的讽刺之剑透过几对眷侣的终成击中了社会的某些风尚和流弊，而这也正增加了小说的社会意义，不至于与我先前所说的“纯情小说”同流。虽说伊丽莎小姐和达西先生的感情婚姻是以美满幸福结束，但他们在交往过程中的傲慢和偏见的构成正反应出社会的一些问题。当班纳特太太一心一意只为财产地位着想而不顾女儿们的真正幸福时的丑态，在让人捧腹之余，又生发出许多心酸。当婚姻成为攀附权贵的阶梯时，感情的影子在哪里柯斯牧师和卢卡斯小姐的婚姻，想想就不可思议，他们两个都是“聪明人”，在婚姻的路上研究得“面面俱到”，结果就干成了如此蠢事。如果说他们俩是有思想有见地的成年人，那韦翰先生和莉迪雅小姐的婚姻简直就是一场骗局、一场寻欢作乐的游戏。

小说在人物塑造方面采取的是单性描述，并不是多重矛盾性格的复杂描述，“一就永远是一”.吉英小姐单纯善良，一个贤良淑德形象，永远不会认为想到某人某事的阴暗面;伊丽莎白聪明活泼又独立，一个智慧女人形象，永远有自我的想法和原则;曼丽虽说描述不多，但其学术才女的形象跃然纸上，一切都是从书上得来的东西来解释生活;吉蒂和莉迪雅小姐是未成年，自有一种幼稚的疯狂女生特质。这五个女儿的形象如此，而其他人也是描述得极为成功的，虽然免不了有种单调的感觉，甚至于就整个故事情节来说，也比较直接，没有九曲回肠的曲折美，但这也或许就是奥斯汀本小说的特色吧。

读完了这本书，我发现其实傲慢与偏见是如影随形的。当我们对某人有了偏见，对待他的态度就会不经意的表现出傲慢。而如果自己经常不自觉的流露傲慢的神情，则他人对我们的偏见也将随之而来。当傲慢遇上偏见，

结果就是互看不顺眼， 事事唱反调， 对人不对事， 甚至变成为反对而反对……等等非理性状况。频道不同的双方也很难有沟通与了解的机会。

别以为我们初中生在日常生活中就不可能出现这种情况。举例来说， 如果有转学生来我们的班级，

很可能因为他对于新环境感到陌生，再加上不擅长与人交际或言谈不当，而让旧生误会对方是自视甚高，或是态度傲慢。而这自以为是，则容易转成对转学生的偏见。当傲慢遇上偏见的结果，往往就是因误解而产生不可抹灭的隔阂。

要避免上述情况发生，唯有放下傲慢的态度， 丢掉偏见的眼光，

以同理心对待。透过互相沟通了解，才能认识真正的彼此。就像是书中的达西先生，虽然外表给人高傲， 自大，

目空一切的印象。但是内心却是善良诚恳且愿意放下身段的，其不固执己见的态度着实令人赞赏。

而伊丽莎白小姐总是"勇敢的表达自己的想法"这一点，

也让我佩服不已。因为我自己在每一次的团体讨论时，总是最安静的一个。即使心中有不同的意见，也因为害怕而不敢表达出来，这是我最应该学习的地方。

要了解一个人就不应该只看表面，而是应该和对方坦诚相待。不用刻意做出讨好的行为，只要表现最真的一面，才有好的互动，才是好的循环。如何与人和睦相处?应对进退如何顾全大体?待人接物如何不伤大雅?遇到摩擦或误解时，如何表达才能化解疑虑?这本书点出的问题，值得深思，耐人寻味，而且是我们初中生必须要好好思考和学习的一门重要功课。

朋友推荐我去读读《傲慢与偏见》，一开始我是拒绝的，随手放开却又被这本书所吸引，一口气读下来满口余香。很难想象简·奥斯汀这位平凡的英国女子能写出如此佳作。

整本书叙述了四段婚姻，夏洛特与柯林斯的巧合之遇，威克汉姆和莉迪亚的命中注定，简和宾利的理所当然，伊丽莎白和达西的终成眷属。前两段的婚姻都是没有爱情基础的结合，必然不会长久。相比之下，简和宾利自然在爱情发酵下结合是天作之美，伊丽莎白和达西的结合自然也是一段佳话。他们的爱情从一开始的偏见到理解，再到相爱，他们从此就再也无法分开了。

I first read "Jane Eyre" in eighth grade and have read it every few years since. It is one of my favorite novels, and so much more than a gothic romance to me, although thats how I probably would have defined it at age 13. I have always been struck, haunted in a way, by the characters - Jane and Mr. Rochester. They take on new depth every time I meet them...and theirs is a love story for the ages.

Charlotte Brontes first published novel, and her most noted work, is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story. Jane is plain, poor, alone and unprotected, but due to her fierce independence and strong will she grows and is able to defy societys expectations of her. This is definitely feminist literature, published in 1847, way before the beginning of any feminist movement. Janes Uncle truly cared for her and showed his affection openly, but Mrs. Reed seemed to hate the orphan, and neglected her while she pampered and spoiled her own children. This unfair treatment emphasized Janes status as an unwanted outsider. She was often punished harshly. On one occasion her nasty cousin Jack picked a fight with her. Jane tried to defend herself and was locked in the terrifying "Red Room" as a result. Janes Uncle Reed had died in this room a little while before, and Mrs. Reed knew how frightened she was of the chamber. Since Jane is the narrator, the reader is given a first-hand impression of the childs feelings, her heightened emotional state at being imprisoned. Indeed, she seems almost like an hysterical child, filled with terror and rage. She repeatedly calls her condition in life "unjust" and is filled with bitterness. Looking into the mirror Jane sees a distorted image of herself. She views her reflection and sees a "strange little figure," or "tiny phantom." Jane has not learned yet to subordinate her passions to her reason. Her passions still erupt unchecked. Her isolation in the Red Room is a presentiment of her later isolation from almost every society and community. This powerful, beautifully written scene never fails to move me.

Mrs. Reed decided to send Jane away to the Lowood School, a poor institution run by Mr. Brocklehurst, who believed that suffering made grand people. All the children there were neglected, except to receive harsh punishment when any mistake was made. At Lowood, Jane met Helen Burns, a young woman a little older than Jane, who guided her with vision, light and love for the rest of her life. Janes need for love was so great. It really becomes obvious in this first friendship. Helen later died from fever, in Janes arms. Her illness and death could have been avoided if more attention had been paid to the youths. Jane stayed at Lowood for ten years, eight as a student and two as a teacher. Tired and depressed by her surroundings, Jane applied for the position of governess and found employment at Thornfield. The mansion is owned by a gentleman named Edward Fairfax Rochester. Her job there was to teach his ward, an adorable little French girl, Adele. Over a long period the moody, inscrutable Rochester confides in Jane and she in him. The two form an unlikely friendship and eventually fall in love. Again, Janes need for love comes to the fore, as does her passionate nature. She blooms. A dark, gothic figure, Rochester also has a heart filled with the hope of true love and future happiness with Jane. Ironically, he has brought all his misery, past and future, on himself.

All is not as it seems at Thornfield. There is a strange, ominous woman servant, Grace Poole, who lives and works in an attic room. She keeps to herself and is rarely seen. From the first, however, Jane has sensed bizarre happenings at night, when everyone is asleep .There are wild cries along with violent attempts on Rochesters life by a seemingly unknown person. Jane wonders why no one investigates Mrs. Poole. Then a strange man visits Thornfield and mysteriously disappears with Mr. Rochester. Late that night Jane is asked to sit with the man while the lord of the house seeks a doctors help. The man has been seriously wounded and is weak from loss of blood. He leaves by coach, in a sorry state, first thing in the morning. Janes questions are not answered directly. This visit will have dire consequences on all involved. An explosive secret revealed will destroy all the joyful plans that Jane and Rochester have made. Jane, once more will face poverty and isolation.

I have read some parts of this nover when I was about thirteen years old,but the book was really too thick for me to read over patiently.It’s a pity that I haven’t finished it till now.But fortunately, I have watched the movie “Pride and Predudice”directed by an American film studio several months ago.

The simple but pure plot,the wonderful song,the classical custume, the luxury ball,the scene full of amorous feelings from the British country,the beatiful and stubborn actress,all of these moved me deeply.Mr. Darcy,the actor of the nover,a nobleman from the uper-classes in England,because of this , he has an inborn superiority that he looks down at every person from the lower-classes .

He don’t like neither their life style nor their way to think.Elizabeth,the actress of the nover,an obstinate,wise young girl from the lower-classes of the country.She dosen’t like anyone who is constumelious,she hates the spurs from the pride men. By these, you know,there’er lots of conflicts between them,but at last,Darcy and Elizabeth,the two different even opposite youngsters fall love .That’s very incredible.

In fact,we are always pride and think something in our mind but not right,we assess the others only depend on their background or their color of skin , we hide our true heart and pretend ,we dispise the others without any reason……But why don’t we ask ourselves in our heart or mind: what do we feel in fact? What do we need in fact? What do we hate and love in fact? Why not express our real feelings at once?Why not chase the happy we really want ?

If we can go through the hindrances that set by ourselves,if we can express the true feelings we have and say it out loudly and clearly to somebody we want to tell with, if we can give up the contumely and spurns which block us to get long well wigh the others wo love,if we can live together harmony and sincere, if ……If that day really comes,the love will come too.

A simple story, an ordinary man, an ordinary big marlin, in the vast sea happened seemingly ordinary and extraordinary experience.

This book is about a Cuban old fisherman named diego, a man fishing alone, in the 84 days after nothing caught a big marlin. This is the old man never seen nor heard of than his boat two feet longer a big fish. Big fish strength is big, dragging the boat drifted for two days and two nights, the old man has experienced in the past two days and two nights have never suffered tough test, finally put the big shark fin die, tied to the bow. At this time, however, encountered a shark, the old man and the shark dogfight, result the big marlin was shark ate up, old man finally dragged home only a pair of bare fish skeleton.

After reading this novel, I found that the old mans story is not only a symbol of the relationship between human and nature, and a symbol of the whole human spirit indestructible. In reality, though he failed, but in spirit, he is the winner. Here, the old man is not only represents a person, but to represent a force, a kind of spirit, that is to let a person admire perseverance, the spirit of never yielding. I also very admire the novel old fishermans will, he let me know how a man must be strong, cant meet the frustration is losing, that will never be a one thing.

这本书讲了古巴的一个名叫桑地亚哥的老渔夫，独自一个人出海打鱼，在一无所获的84天之后钓到了一条无比巨大的马林鱼。这是老人从来没见过也没听说过的比他的船还长两英尺的一条大鱼。鱼大劲也大，拖着小船漂流了整整两天两夜，老人在这两天两夜中经历了从未经受的艰难考验，终于把大鱼刺死，拴在船头。然而这时却遇上了鲨鱼，老人与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，结果大马林鱼被鲨鱼吃光了，老人最后拖回家的只剩下一副光秃秃的鱼骨架。

读完这篇小说，我发现，老人的故事不仅象征着人与自然的关系，而且象征着整个人类坚不可摧的精神。在现实中，他虽然失败了，但在精神上，他却是胜利者。在这里，老人不仅仅是代表着一个人，而是代表了一股力量，一种精神，那是让人敬佩的坚韧不拔，永不服输的精神。我也十分佩服小说中老渔夫的意志,他让我懂得了一个人一定要坚强，不能遇到一点挫折就败退，这样永远也做不成一件事。
