See here, I am very envious of this so "lucky" the hero, but I want to: people reason to please him, because it was not that people are reading too much money to it? Worship of money is shameful, and something for nothing we should not! Money is not a panacea, in the world there are many more important things than money .

Mark Twains short story with "one million pounds" is a very good work. Article on the "money is everything" "Money is omnipotent," the ideas of irony, exposed the ugly face of capitalist society.

There is no doubt that Pride and Prejudice is well-known, the book that is written by Jane Austen has an influence on the culture. As far as I’m concerned ,the ending of the fiction is wonderful, Elizabeth and Darcy won their happiness, leading a colourful life .

First of all, let’s learn about the author who is Jane Austen .She was unmarried all her life. She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a comfortable environment with harmonious surroundings, so there’s not too many conflicts in her sight neither in her novel. In Pride and Prejudice she talked different ideas about love and marriage through different characters.

Jane Austen disclosed mid-class young ladies’ different ideas of marriage and love through describing the different ways in which the Bennet girls doing with their marriage problems, and this undoubtedly shows the writer’s idea about love and marriage: it’s wrong to get married just for property, wealth and status while neither would it be without caring about those elements.Jane Austen just attached great significance to marriage through her novel

by telling people that marriage should be regarded carefully.

Then, let’s get close to story. The details is that Mr. Bennet is an English gentleman with an estate in Hertfordshire. He has five unmarried daughters but no sons while his inheritance must be inherited by a male, so Mrs. Bennet has been keen to seek husband for her daughters with great enthusiasm.

One day the Bennets had a new neighbor called Bingley who was a wealthy bachelor and followed be the target of Mrs. Bennet. At a ball Bingley fell in love with Jane Bennet who’s the oldest daughter of the Bennets. Bingley’s friend Darcy also came to the ball and struck the sights, many girls liked him while he thought all of them couldn’t suit his preference, including Elizabeth. Mr. Darcy always shows others a impression of pride, having found this Elizabeth began to hate Mr. Darcy.

Before long Darcy fell in love with Elizabeth Bennett because of her lovely behavior, while Elizabeth is disgusted by his pride and has a prejudice about him. The official Wickham was welcomed by the villagers, and Elizabeth also took a shine to him. Wickham told someting about darcy, which increased Eli’s prejudice about Mr. Darcy. At

another ball Mr. Darcy invited Elizabeth to dance with him, but Eli refused him. Eli’s elder male cousin Mr. Collin came to Hertfordshire to inherit the Bennetts property by rules, he wanted to marry with one of the Bennets. Having known that Jane was already engaged with Mr. Bingley, he asked Elizabeth to marry him but was seriously rejected. At last he proposed to Charllote who was Eli’s friend.

Mr. Collins was good at flattering and he got the pastorate with the help of Lady Catherine. Once his family was invited to Rosings Garden by Lady Catherine. Elizabeth also went there with Mr. Collin and Charllote. There she met Mr. Darcy who’s Lady Catherine’s nephew. Then Mr. Darcy came to the Collins’ and confessed his love for Elizabeth, of course he was rejected impolitely.

Afterwards Mr. Darcy wrote a letter to Eli in order to remove her misunderstandings of him. Elizabeth’s uncle and aunt were also impressed by Mr. Darcy’s politeness. Gradually Eli’s prejudice of Mr. Darcy disappeared. Eventually they became couple.

In my opinion ,on the one hand,I think Elizabeth has personality ethic which caused her independent idea about love and marriage and in consequence she earned a happy

life. There’re also Eli’s sisters’ love stories served as contrasts to the female subject’s ideal marriage, such as Charlotte and Collin’s life: they do had a luxury life, but there’s no real love between them and this kind of marriage is surely a tragedy of society. On the other hand,Darcy is brave ,he did do his best to pursuit his love.

As a matter of fact, everyone has shortcomings ,after reading the story ,I did realize that we should find our advantages and disadvantages by ourselves. Moreover,it’s necessary for us to try our best to get over shortcomings.I am aware that we ought to get along with others with the same attitude. The right that seeking for happiness is equal for everyone.therefore,we should value the things that we have, and cherish the chances.

Read "the old man and the sea" this article, I could not help secretly for Hemingways masterpiece. Image lifelike the story describes how an old man with a firm belief deftly will be a big fish to his humble, and how to get rid of "invasion of the enemy" -- a shark. Although he failed to bring the whole fish back, but his spirit is worth our learning: people must have the self-confidence, he will say to yourself "I can do it!" . You think about it, if the old man caught a fish, 7, 8 times more than himself he saw was afraid, put the fish, he can put the fish back to Hong Kong? No, no, he relies on ordinary people to accept such determination, to catch the big fish.

In our class, there is learning of poor students, they are lack of confidence to oneself, plus others ironic, then, they have no interest in learning, thus make grades decline gradually, falling...

Now the society developed, if can clone the self-confidence, that I must have a clone, send it to lack of confidence friend!

The Olympic Games, which originated in ancient Greece, is the most distinguished sporting event in the world. Once every four years, the utmost athletes from all around are lured to gather together and spare no efforts to compete against each other and try to win a medal for the country that they represent. Frankly speaking, that was virtually all I knew about the world-famous Olympic Games before I had read a book entitled The Olympics published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. However, I found even more philosophy beyond just winning medals from reading the book, which was beyond my imagination and considerably inspiring.

Someone once said, “Were everybody on earth involved in some kind of sport, our world would be free of war for long.” Starting from three thousand years ago, the ancient Olympic Games has long been an event not only for competition but also for peace. In ancient times, no war was allowed between the cities during the Games, which was rather surprising to me since I could hardly imagine warriors actally putting down their weapons and give a break for peace. The precious tradition of peace continued: I would never fail to recall the scene of the opening ceremonies when North and South Korean athletes entering the stadium with their hands held together. The two neighboring countries that used to be enemies are no longer enemies during the Games. Instead they became friends. Speaking of the XX Athens Olympics, perhaps most people would have the same opinion that the most noable part of the opening ceremony arrived when Iraqi and Afghan representatives showed up. These two unfortunate nations, the people of which have undergone innumerable wars, are coming back again to take their own responsibility in world sports after recent invasions by America. The fearless people of Iraq and Afghanistan are once more sharing the spirit of the Games with people from the rest of the world.

There is another story in this book that makes me deep in thoughts. There is no doubt that the most unusual Olympic Games ever in history is the 1936 Olympics held in Germany, which was then ruled by the Nazi Party. Led by Adolf Hitler, the Nazi believed that the so-called Aryan people were superior to all others in all aspects. They looked down upon Jews and blacks, the latter of which was a major constitution of the United States Olympic team. Despite the barrier that faced him, the African American Jesse Owens, who was a most outstanding runner and jumper, did all that he could and finally won gold medals for his country and went home a hero. This reveals another fact that no power on earth is able to hinder the sacred Olympic Games. For all participants, no matter what their gender, race, nationalities and backgrounds are, equality is distributed among every one who observes the Game’s rules.

At the XX Athens Olympics, our Chinese team did extraordinarily well. We ranked second on the medal lists for the first time in history. In my opinion, however, we should not only concentrate on the figure of medals; instead the strength and perseverance of those who failed to get any medals ought to be highly cherished. Whether ever success or failure, whether ever cheer or tear, whether ever medal or not, the never-gave-up spirits of athletes are always motivating us. I believe in the year 2008, the world will focus all their attention to Beijing, China, where the glory of the Games will continue to thrive forever!

Some time ago, I read a persons fame Khvostov of as "Uncle Toms cabin." Integrity, good-natured, religious Uncle Tom; prudent, smart, studious Mestizo slave George; inexcusable ruthless slave traders Hailey; destroys human nature, conscience ruined the alegre; a sense of justice, but drift, such as the St. Clair lifelike characters left me a deep impression on him. What made me the most unforgettable is the smart and lively but wild full, and later transferred teach self-esteem a slave girlTOM love.

TOM blacks had the most black, a pair of round bright eyes as sparkling glass beads, like, look a bit strange face is a shrewd and crafty Kyrgyzstan wonderful binations, like a goblin-like. She loves to steal, stealing after lie, put an innocent expression; her misbehavior, all making her revenge, hoaxes; she would take advantage of the master out, crazy couple of hours to make his home mess. Her owner exhausted all ways to punish her, education, she tried to change her bad habits, but to no avail, this is only because there is no love!

Think about it! This was lovely child, born into slavery, she belonged to them all the only masters of the so-called masters of her fate. Her childhood on his masters scolding to grow up, so she formed the habit of lying, bad habit of stealing things, and that she was beautiful, tarnished the purity of heart. In this there is no dignity, experiencing being separated from being whipped all day circumstances, how can we have a noble moral character and firm in faith? Only pure, beautiful, selfless love can save her soul! When the angelic Eva to her love of her time,TOM eyes cast the tears that her heart has been ray of sunshine of love. Sure enough, after the changeTOM Well, her efforts to care for others. This is the punishment, not preaching Forever effect, full of love beyond all words! This is the power of love!

In our lives, there are many like TOM as children. Their bad behavior, there is no love, will not listen to reason, then do not hate him, to understand with love, tolerance, stripped away a layer of green shoots yellow things, with love to the hearts of probation numb. We should always remember; the power of love is enormous, and the supreme! "Uncle Toms cabin" This masterpiece has been published in 150 years, it has been able to make today is still deeply moved by readers, but also because the author in the book preached brotherhood and humanity in the disappearance of slavery today has been the eternal pursuit of mankind.

These days, I read the book "pride and prejudice", immediately mixed feelings in the heart, mind, and Im ripping mad. "Pride and prejudice" mainly about the British in the 19th century social middle class farmer Mr Daughters of romantic story. Eldest daughter JiAn gentleness docile, beautiful, with weak character of rich kids bentley love at first sight, but at a crucial moment had twists and turns. Second daughter, Elizabeth smart beautiful, have ambition, have definite view, darcy met with riches. A withdrawn, introverted darcy is proud, but love for Elizabeth stubborn personality independence, but his love for the first time but it was rejected, finally found upon Elizabeth darcy is not prosperous, the pursuit of the good qualities of love. At the same time, the bentley also get a friends support and JiAn meet again, two couple then became lovers.

By reading this book, I learned that in the early 19th century British society on the marriage between the upper and middle class society and the world human sentiment, and the author of the true love can go beyond the conflict between different classes, eliminates arrogance, eliminate prejudice, to achieve a perfect marriage of this ideal state.

This is a wonderful, beautiful epic of a novel. Set in Afghanistan and the United States between the 1970s to the present day, it is a heartbreaking tale of a young boy, Amir, and his best friend who are torn apart. This is a classic word-of-mouth novel and is sure to become as universally loved as The God of Small Things and The Glass Palace.

Twelve year old Amir is desperate to win the approval of his father Baba, one of the richest and most respected merchants in Kabul. He has failed to do so through academia or brawn, but the one area where they connect is the annual kite fighting tournament. Amir is determined not just to win the competition but to run the last kite and bring it home triumphantly, to prove to his father that he has the makings of a man. His loyal friend Hassan is the best kite runner that Amir has ever seen, and he promises to help him - for Hassan always helps Amir out of trouble. But Hassan is a Shia Muslim and this is 1970s Afghanistan. Hassan is taunted and jeered at by Amirs school friends; he is merely a servant living in a shack at the back of Amirs house. So why does Amir feel such envy towards his friend? Then, what happens to Hassan on the afternoon of the tournament is to shatter all their lives, and define their futures.

The Kite Runner of Khaled Hosseinis deeply moving fiction debut is an illiterate Afghan boy with an uncanny instinct for predicting exactly where a downed kite will land. Growing up in the city of Kabul in the early 1970s, Hassan was narrator Amirs closest friend even though the loyal 11-year-old with "a face like a Chinese doll" was the son of Amirs fathers servant and a member of Afghanistans despised Hazara minority. But in 1975, on the day of Kabuls annual kite-fighting tournament, something unspeakable happened between the two boys.

Narrated by Amir, a 40-year-old novelist living in California, The Kite Runner tells the gripping story of a boyhood friendship destroyed by jealousy, fear, and the kind of ruthless evil that transcends mere politics. Running parallel to this personal narrative of loss and redemption is the story of modern Afghanistan and of Amirs equally guilt-ridden relationship with the war-torn city of his birth. The first Afghan novel to be written in English, The Kite Runner begins in the final days of King Zahir Shahs 40-year reign and traces the countrys fall from a secluded oasis to a tank-strewn battlefield controlled by the Russians and then the trigger-happy Taliban. When Amir returns to Kabul to rescue Hassans orphaned child, the personal and the political get tangled together in a plot that is as suspenseful as it is taut with feeling.

The son of an Afghan diplomat whose family received political asylum in the United States in 1980, Hosseini combines the unflinching realism of a war correspondent with the satisfying emotional pull of master storytellers such as Rohinton Mistry. Like the kite that is its central image, the story line of this mesmerizing first novel occasionally dips and seems almost to dive to the ground. But Hosseini ultimately keeps everything airborne until his heartrending conclusion in an American picnic park.

"In order to property, money and position and the marriage is wrong; the marriage does not consider the above factors also stupid." This sentence can come to this book.

One distinctive characters in "her" lifelike; Clever sensible Elizabeth, sincerity, persistence, darcy, gentle tolerant Jane, frivolous superficial Lydia, no mind, Mrs Bennett relatively ineffective Mr Bennett, selfish snobbish miss bingley, mighty lady Catherine, boring Collins, and so on. Among them, admirable, sympathetic, or a smile. In addition, the dialogue between the characters in the novel is also a feature of the novel. Elizabeth witty words, Mr Bennett its sarcasm to him, for the khans rhetoric, Collins rap wording, which make readers view. Do you know of who "she" is? "She" is the author -- Jane Austen.

In a word, no matter from content and Austins novel narrative techniques, "pride and prejudice" is a classic.
