In my opinion ,on the one hand,I think Elizabeth has personality ethic which caused her independent idea about love and marriage and in consequence she earned a happy

life. Based on Mark Twains novel, The Millionaire Pound Note takes an interesting satirical look at the hypocrisy stemming from class distinction in the 50s England. England is a country where class and wealth are given extreme significance, especially among the rich. The film shows the hypocrisy that existed among these people, how the rich are quick to change face when in an instant they find out that youre a man of wealth and how within the next moment they revert back to their condescending selves when all wealth is lost.

Interestingly, The Millionaire also briefly looks at how the English perceived Americans in that era. Rich Americans were welcomed as outsiders and the poor were quickly shunned away. A charming Gregory Peck totally nails the part and the luminous Jane Griffiths is a treat. Reginald Beckwith, as Pecks sidekick Rock is amusing. The ending is a little predictable but the director does an overall good job by rounding it up and presenting his points.

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

This book is simply wonderful. The tales involved are tales of the Persian Gulf, of Bagdhad, Arabia, and tales that we as adults should revisit for some enjoyable light reading that will make us smile and wonder at the old folklore of the Arabian Peninsula.

Sinbad the Sailor is in there, as is Aladdin in its original form, and the story begins of a king who is so upset by his wifes unfaithfulness that he will now only accept virgins for one night and then have them killed. I wont tell you what happens in the end to the virgin princess, but you will find humor, enchantment, wisdom and fantasy for those times when stress becomes a factor in your life.

I highly recommend the tale of "The Historic Fart" as a both funny and inspiring tale of human nature. Please buy this book and remember to become a nine -12 year old again as you read with curiosity and wonder at the fabulous enchanting, lively stories. The distinguished housekeeper Mrs. Fairfax presides over the estate. Jane’s employer at Thornfield is a dark, impassioned man named Rochester, with whom Jane finds herself falling secretly in love. She saves Rochester from a fire one night, which he claims was started by a drunken servant named Grace Poole. But because Grace Poole continues to work at Thornfield, Jane concludes that she has not been told the entire story. Jane sinks into despondency when Rochester brings home a beautiful but vicious woman named Blanche Ingram. Jane expects Rochester to propose to Blanche. But Rochester instead proposes to Jane, who accepts almost disbelievingly.

The wedding day arrives, and as Jane and Mr. Rochester prepare to exchange their vows, the voice of Mr. Mason cries out that Rochester already has a wife. Mason introduces himself as the brother of that wife—a woman named Bertha. Mr. Mason testifies that Bertha, whom Rochester married when he was a young man in Jamaica, is still alive. Rochester does not deny Mason’s claims, but he explains that Bertha has gone mad. He takes the wedding party back to Thornfield, where they witness the insane Bertha Mason scurrying around on all fours and growling like an animal. Rochester keeps Bertha hidden on the third story of Thornfield and pays Grace Poole to keep his wife under control. Bertha was the real cause of the mysterious fire earlier in the story. Knowing that it is impossible for her to be with Rochester, Jane flees Thornfield.

Penniless and hungry, Jane is forced to sleep outdoors and beg for food. At last, three siblings who live in a manor alternatively called Marsh End and Moor House take her in. Their names are Mary, Diana, and St. John (pronounced “Sinjin”) Rivers, and Jane quickly becomes friends with them. St. John is a clergyman, and he finds Jane a job teaching at a charity school in Morton. He surprises her one day by declaring that her uncle, John Eyre, has died and left her a large fortune: 20,000 pounds. When Jane asks how he received this news, he shocks her further by declaring that her uncle was also his uncle: Jane and the Riverses are cousins. Jane immediately decides to share her inheritance equally with her three newfound relatives.

St. John decides to travel to India as a missionary, and he urges Jane to accompany him—as his wife. Jane agrees to go to India but refuses to marry her cousin because she does not love him. St. John pressures her to reconsider, and she nearly gives in. However, she realizes that she cannot abandon forever the man she truly loves when one night she hears Rochester’s voice calling her name over the moors. Jane immediately hurries back to Thornfield and finds that it has been burned to the ground by Bertha Mason, who lost her life in the fire. Rochester saved the servants but lost his eyesight and one of his hands. Jane travels on to Rochester’s new residence, Ferndean, where he lives with two servants named John and Mary.

At Ferndean, Rochester and Jane rebuild their relationship and soon marry. At the end of her story, Jane writes that she has been married for ten blissful years and that she and Rochester enjoy perfect equality in their life together. She says that after two years of blindness, Rochester regained sight in one eye and was able to behold their first son at his birth.

Actually,not only do I inspired by Jane Eyres character,but also I am moved by the love of Rochester.I believe that every one of us may have thought about our Mr.Right after reading this book.He doesnt need to be so handsome .However,he must be good to us and take our things as the most important things.Yes, we are all expecting...

故事中女主角伊丽莎白第一眼看到男主角达西就是不顺眼的，加上男主角个性的傲慢，继而对他有了偏见。而男主角达西，是个不受人欢迎的傲慢男子，也不屑于周遭冷淡的人际关系，对他来说，傲慢也许是有理的，偏见却很无情，这两者产生的冲击是免不了的。两个人之间也因此而常有针锋相对的言辞，彼此之间的傲慢和偏见就造成了一开始的不愉快与误解，但是经过种.种事件的澄清，彼此又渐渐产生一点点的感情。达西代表着“傲慢”,伊丽莎白代表着“偏见”,他们一开始都被自己的情绪所牵引。接着一连串对达西不利的流言，更让伊丽莎白对达西反感。当达西向伊丽莎白求婚而遭到拒绝时，他说了一句话：“要是我耍一点手段，把我内心的矛盾掩饰起来，一味地恭维你，使你相信我无论在理智方面、思想方面以及其他各方面，都是对你怀着无条件的纯洁的爱，那么也许你就不会有这些苛刻的责骂了。可惜无论是什么样的伪装，我都痛恨。”达西没有为了讨好伊丽莎白，而改变他的傲慢性情。伊丽莎白也表现了很真实的自己，彼此都不刻意去营造给人的印象，表现出了最真实的一面。而开始的时候，伊丽莎白一直活在自己的偏见之下，而忽略思考事实的真相，经过达西的解释和自己的判定，才最终找到幸福的归宿。

傲慢与偏见，是我们很常见的弱点和毛病。每一个人其实都很轻易被自己的主观印象所驱使，因而轻易对别的人下不正确的注解，进而造成了彼此之间的误会。一个人所给予的第一印象固然可以影响到很多事，但并非一定不会改变，要有更加深入的了解，才能有更客观一点的论点，就似乎故事中女主角对达西的看法，就是因为了解才有所改变。因此，在现实生活中我们应该要善于发现身边人的优点!

Behind this, I saw they loved each other infinitely.They loved their family, they let me feel that cold Christmas Eve has become the warm heaven just because of their gifts. If Della only took one dollar and eighty-seven cents to pick gift,this story will probably lacking of shocking, and also cannot cause readers thinking.

In this materialistic society, people often use money to measure gifts.When bags of gifts which are packaging delicately in front of us,what can we see except empty and blank? Parents feel happy because of our simple greeting cards in their birthday,because of a few words of blessing.These gifts,simple but true.It cant be compared with those which built with a lot of money, outlined by luxuriance. What clever gifts! In some sense, they are invaluable.

Yes,in this materialistic society,some people think money is everything,the one who owns money,who owns all.No wonder a great amount of girls became mammonists,and want to marry richers;no wonder more and more men think that there is no true love,what girls love is their money. But I always believe sincere love is existed and its priceless. Even if you have millions of money, you cant change it into true love. Maybe money can let you get some feelings from girls, but those are hypocritical. 朋友推荐我去读读《傲慢与偏见》，一开始我是拒绝的，随手放开却又被这本书所吸引，一口气读下来满口余香。很难想象简·奥斯汀这位平凡的英国女子能写出如此佳作。

整本书叙述了四段婚姻，夏洛特与柯林斯的巧合之遇，威克汉姆和莉迪亚的命中注定，简和宾利的理所当然，伊丽莎白和达西的终成眷属。前两段的婚姻都是没有爱情基础的结合，必然不会长久。相比之下，简和宾利自然在爱情发酵下结合是天作之美，伊丽莎白和达西的结合自然也是一段佳话。他们的爱情从一开始的偏见到理解，再到相爱，他们从此就再也无法分开了。

从刚开始达西的傲慢，引起伊丽莎白对他的反感。而后来的威克汉姆添油加醋的中伤，让伊丽莎白对他的偏见更大了。达西虽然在不断接触中对她产生了兴趣，但未表明心意。之后，他就离开了。

随着宾利一家的离开，柯林斯的故事不断展开，伊丽莎白在包德尔夫人家又遇到了达西，面对包德尔夫人的处处为难，伊丽莎白总是能巧妙应对。

达西终于对伊丽莎白表达了自己对她的爱意。但之前的偏见让伊丽莎白拒绝了他。随后一封已来的解释信，虽然消除了误会，但也错过了最好的时机。

不久，伊丽莎白来到了达西的庄园，再次相遇的他们终于走到了一起，尽管有包德尔夫人的阻挠，以及之后威克汉姆与丽迪亚私奔的麻烦，也依然无法阻挡这两人的爱情发展。

最初的傲慢与偏见，共处的微妙发现，相遇的冰释前嫌，再遇的热恋升温。他们虽然没有一见钟情的感觉，但却在一断了解中找到自己的归宿。

就像伊丽莎白对达西说的那样“我们的性情非常相似，我们都不爱交际，沉默寡言，不愿开口，除非我们会说出话来语惊四座，像格言一样具有光彩，流传千古。”

“傲慢是所有人的一种弊病。”文中的达西虽然傲慢，但和柯林斯的无趣、奉承，威克汉姆的花言巧语却显得真诚。伊丽莎白在面对包德尔夫人的处处为难，却依然从容不迫，理性聪明慧，贝内特夫人的孤陋寡闻，丽迪亚的轻浮，栩栩如生的人物形象，同样也是我欣赏的一点。

简和宾利的理所当然的爱情，是在两人一见钟情发酵下，变得越发甜蜜，最终的结合，也是值得称赞的。

虽然，他们的爱情并不像史诗一样宏伟，但却有独特的味道。没有让人落泪的地方，却依然为人津津乐道，毕竟，他们都最终踏过一切阻碍，在那片花海中欢声笑语。

I have seen the novels name --the Kite Runner many times from the Internet,when it comes to "the novels moved you most".With curiosity,I downloaded it.When reading the novel,from the beginning to the end,I felt a heavy stone of sorrow on my heart.

It is a story about friendship,about fault and atonement,about the good and evil of human natual.

The narrator of the story,Amir ,is born in a rich family.Hassan is his servant as well as close friend.They both lose mother from birth and grow up like brothers.

From Hassan ,I see the most kind and beautiful soul.He never means to hurt anyone.he protects Amir bravely and has a broad mind to endure what Amir do to him.With the promise to run the kite,he hands the last cut kite to Amir though he has insulted by the bully,Assef. for lifetime,he cherishes the friendship,even he dies of protecting Amirs house."For you,a thousand times over"he does as he says…

If Hassan can be described as an angel, then Amir is just a person.when he is a boy,he is badly want fathers love and care.he will be jealous,he will fear and be cowardly.When he sees Hassan insulted by Assef,he is so scared that he only hides and watches.he sees what happened but keeps it as a secret.In order to escape the guilt,he makes another fault, making Hassan leave by framing Hassan .Years past, he is still haunted by betraying his childhood friend.

I was shocked when the big secret reveals: Hassan is Amirs half brother,the son of his father and a sevants wife! Amirs father lives a torturing life,he is torn into two parts.He cant give Hassan the love in the name of a father,which is unfair to Hassan.That explains why he seems care little about Amir …

Knowing the truth,Amir has a painful struggle at the first,and finally chooses the right way,a way of atonement.He rescues Hassans orphan ,Sorhab,from Assefs hand.At that time,he faces up to Assefs fists,being a man not cowardly.Having gone though a lot of difficulties,he finally brings Sorhab to American.But Sorhab is emotional damaged by adversity.Amir make efforts to revive the little heart.At the end of the story,Sorhab shows a lopside smile,which delights Amir much.Amir run kite for Hassans son,and says what Hassan once said,"for you, a thousand times over".The snow will be melt,and the spring is coming…The ending is not clearly told,but full of hope.

I like the author written style.Theres paragraghs of internal monologues,warm memorys , sad plots,horrible war scenes…the words,sentences always catch me tightly,make me think,make me cry…Now if someone ask me what novels impressed me most,The Kite Runner will be an answer.

It is the first time I have seen a novel in English.It is hard for me to insist on reading as there are so many words I have to look up.But it really benefit me in some way.

在《傲慢与偏见》这部电影中，我很喜欢达西先生，他是一个很呆板中有着羞涩，傲慢中有着可爱的人。然而我想在这部片子中我最印象深刻的是伊丽莎白了。

伊丽莎白无疑是幸运的，除了她自身的优秀与自尊，她对爱情与婚姻的态度都决定着她的不凡，她能够坚守自己对爱情的渴望。对于一个女性而言，她拥有着天真率直以及理智自尊自爱，最重要的更是她的傲骨，她拒绝collins，这不仅是一种勇气也是一种对自身优秀的肯定。优秀的女人会被仰慕，被欣赏，有时也会被贬低，就如鲁迅先生捧与挖中说的一样，压下去，捧起来。虽然很多女性都有了觉醒，但依旧是不够的，对于剩女这个身份，很少有女性欣然接受，但正是剩下了，才是优秀中的优秀，毕竟男性不愿娶一个过于优于自己的女性，无论压还是捧，都不愿娶。

伊丽莎白的确是幸运的，如果自身的优异来源她本身，那么他父亲如此的了解她，也赞同她，就的确是一种运气了。我自始至终都认为班纳特先生最喜欢的一定是这个自信可爱聪明的二女儿，他开明，睿智，虽然有时迫于伊丽莎白母亲的施压，但关键时刻，重要之事，他都会做出最正确的判断，伊丽莎白拒绝collins的之后，他说，如果你不嫁给他，你会和你妈妈绝交。但是，如果你嫁给他，我就会给你绝交。当时真心爱死这个开明的父亲了，可爱，还有点冷幽默。

然而最庆幸的更是MRDary的存在，因为自己的优秀是自己决定的，有长者爱护是比较好得到的，然而要找一个欣赏自己，接受自己的伴侣确实一件难事，这让我想到人生下来就是注定孤独的，因为思想注定是孤独的，世界上没有两个完全相同的人，思想也没有，那么再是知音也不可能完全接纳理解自己。所以能找到一个比较相似的人，也是很不容易的，有的恋人当年爱的死去活来，最后还是一句不合适分手，要融入对方的世界其实很难，尤其是你陌生甚至带有一点排斥的世界。

达西是傲慢的，带有偏见的，伊丽莎白也是如此，正是这样有些相似，再加上价值观也没什么缺陷，于是他们幸福的在一起了，然而并不是所有的伊丽莎白都找的到配得上她的人，灰姑娘的外表高贵的心，这些公主有很多剩了下来。

相信自己，永远没有错。不愿委屈，不仅是孤高，更是爱护自己，自尊自爱自立自强不息。

Beowulf is the oldest poem in the English language and the most important specimen of Anglo-Saxon literature.The main stories are based on the folk legends of the primitive northern tribes.

Beowulf is the nephew of king of the Geats who lives in Denmark. He defeated the monster, which raided the hall built by the king of the Danes. Later on, Beowulf becomes king of the Geats. He at last dies a heroic death.

It is a pagan poem, which presents us an all-round picture of the tribal society.
