The precious tradition of peace continued: I would never fail to recall the scene of the opening ceremonies when North and South Korean athletes entering the stadium with their hands held together. The two neighboring countries that used to be enemies are no longer enemies during the Games. Instead they became friends. Speaking of the XX Athens Olympics, perhaps most people would have the same opinion that the most noable part of the opening ceremony arrived when Iraqi and Afghan representatives showed up. These two unfortunate nations, the people of which have undergone innumerable wars, are coming back again to take their own responsibility in world sports after recent invasions by America. The fearless people of Iraq and Afghanistan are once more sharing the spirit of the Games with people from the rest of the world.

There is another story in this book that makes me deep in thoughts. There is no doubt that the most unusual Olympic Games ever in history is the 1936 Olympics held in Germany, which was then ruled by the Nazi Party. Led by Adolf Hitler, the Nazi believed that the so-called Aryan people were superior to all others in all aspects. They looked down upon Jews and blacks, the latter of which was a major constitution of the United States Olympic team. Despite the barrier that faced him, the African American Jesse Owens, who was a most outstanding runner and jumper, did all that he could and finally won gold medals for his country and went home a hero. This reveals another fact that no power on earth is able to hinder the sacred Olympic Games. 伊丽莎白的妹妹莉迪亚是真心喜欢威克姆的，最后与威克姆结了婚，却不幸福。她单纯追求外在美不问其他，尽管如愿以偿得到了一个美男子却与幸福绝缘。威克姆金玉其外，败絮其中刚开始时迷惑了包括伊丽莎白在内的几乎所有姑娘，但最终上当的是莉迪亚，原因是莉迪亚虚荣心太重。

伊丽莎白的好友夏洛特与牧师柯林斯的婚姻另属一种情况，夏洛特长得不算好看，又没啥财产难于出嫁，所求不在爱情，只在生活依靠，而柯林斯只要娶到女人就行，所以两人一拍即合，他们的婚姻远远比不上伊丽莎白和达西、简与宾利却胜过莉迪亚和威克姆，虽然谈不上爱情、幸福，却有满足、太平。

伊丽莎白的父母的婚姻又十分特殊，他们有财产，但没有爱情，伊丽莎白的父亲年轻时认为美貌女子能给他带来幸福，也如愿以偿，娶到了一位漂亮的姑娘，婚后却发现与美貌而不聪明的女人共度一生索然无味，他的生活宽裕，却情感空虚。

这五门亲事作者没有各表一端，而是通过主人公伊丽莎白很自然地联在一起。

我读完整本书后就觉得，自己以前做的事太愚蠢蠢了，比如我以前看见长得丑的、不好看的我都不会对他们产生好感，甚至讨厌他们。但是当我读完这本书时，我才明白，一个人如何，不是靠美丑来衡量的，那只是外在的，我们要用心去体会内在的。一个人的长相如何，不能代表他的内心如何。

这本书虽然在写婚姻，但其实揭示的都是这个道理。

《傲慢与偏见》是简·奥斯汀的代表作，也是简·奥斯汀最早完成的作品，她在1796年开始动笔，原名《最初的印象》，通过婚姻问题的描写展示了当时英国社会的生活画面。小说讲述了乡绅之女伊丽莎白·班内特的爱情故事。这部作品以日常生活为素材，一反当时社会上流行的感伤小说的内容和矫揉造作的写作方法，生动地反映了18世纪末到19世纪初处于保守和闭塞状态下的英国乡镇生活和世态人情。并多次被改编成电影和电视剧。

Elizabeth (Lizzy) Bennet is the core of the family. Elizabeth is the second of Mr. and Mrs. Bennets five daughters, and is an intelligent, bold, attractive twenty-year-old when the story begins. In addition to being her fathers favourite, Elizabeth is characterized as a sensible, yet stubborn, woman. Misled by his cold outward behaviour, Elizabeth originally holds Mr. Darcy in contempt. However, she finds that Mr. Darcy improves on acquaintance, more so than she would expect.

Fitzwilliam Darcy (commonly known as Mr. Darcy) is the central male character and Elizabeths second love interest in the novel. He is an intelligent, wealthy, extremely handsome and reserved 28-year-old man, who often appears haughty or proud to strangers but possesses an honest and kind nature underneath. Initially, he considers Elizabeth his social inferior, unworthy of his attention, but he finds that, despite his inclinations, he cannot deny his feelings for Elizabeth. His initial proposal of marriage is rejected because of his pride and Elizabeths prejudice against him; however, at the end of the novel, after their relationship has blossomed, he is happily engaged to a loving Elizabeth.

因为班主任布置的经典小说的任务，我拿起了一直放在书架上的那本“外国名著”。——但是我并不喜欢。

对于我来说，那些枯燥的名著里并不会有现在言情小说里的轰轰烈烈，所以我一直对于名著有些抵抗。我也不知是不是先入为主的观念，所以让我觉得其他小说也理应如此。

但是当我翻开第一页的时候，我就有些惊讶，它并不像是其他小说一样开头就开始叙述感情线——也许是现在感情线主流小说的原因吧。

简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》语言非常精练，在故事方面有很大的空间，给人一个无限的遐想空间。若真用漂亮的词语来形容，我便要说：作者深厚的文字功底让我感觉像是做了一场梦，梦里如同掠过竹林的风，带给我竹林般的清凉，泉水般的清澈，让人随时随地沉迷于其中。

我能选择这本小说，应当是因为里面的爱情故事。当今的社会，有太多美好、不美好的故事了，所以当我每次觉得社会冷漠，并没有我想的那么温暖的时候，我就会寄情与网络上的言情小说，便一发不可收拾。

可是当我看完了这本书，我真心觉得——当初的想法错了。

这个世上的事情，总要是看自己用什么角度去看的。在这部描写爱情与婚姻的小说里，和我当初看的文章大相径庭。小说围绕班奈特太太如何把五个女儿嫁出去的主题展开。书中一共写了四队青年男女的结合，作者一一加以比较，批判，爱憎分明的阐述了自己的爱情与婚姻观。富有傲慢的达西和睿智具有反叛精神的伊丽莎白，温柔体贴的简和有权有势的宾利，以及莉迪亚和威克姆，夏洛蒂与柯林斯。

不同的文体风格让我感受了不同的样子，如同一位叫做伊丽莎白的女孩所追求的一样——面包、玫瑰。若两者不可得兼，舍玫瑰而取面包者也。

有的时候，这才是现实，即使我们还不能理解，但是终有一天会面临压力。可是心中追求爱、追求美的欲望却不会停滞。

书中的平等。《傲慢与偏见》，这个书名便是在平等的观念下产生的。

取其精华去其糟粕，让我们回归眼下，期待能看到更多发展的雏鹰。

“根据我的书本知识，我坚信傲慢是一种流弊，人性在这一方面极为脆弱，因为我们很少有人不因为自己的某种品质或者其它什么而沾沾自喜、洋洋自得，不管这种品质是存在于真实中，还是仅仅存在于想象中。虚荣和傲慢尽管常被用作同义词，实际上却是两回事。一个人可能傲慢但不虚荣，傲慢是我们对自己的评价，虚荣则是我们希望别人如何评价我们自己。”

这部出自英国作家奥斯丁之手的浪漫爱情小说，其中一直夹带着浪漫最大的“敌人”——现实!没有浪漫的爱情就失去了其本身的美好的色彩，但小说中种种门当户对等一系列现实问题却充斥其间。

小说共写了四桩婚姻故事，可以说这四桩婚事代表了世界上各种类型的婚姻。文中着重描写的是最单纯、最纯粹的爱情——不是为了财富，不是为了地位，仅仅是和自己所爱的人在一起——达西与伊丽莎白的爱情。

其中最荒谬、最令人不齿的是贝内特家族的小女儿与威科姆的婚事。威科姆是一个表里不一的伪君子，险些欺骗伊丽莎白，后伊丽莎白在其舅舅舅妈的规劝以及自己理智冷静的控制自己的感情之下，没有上他的当。是谎言终究会被揭穿：达西戳穿了他的谎言。可是谁知小女儿放荡无知，竟和他私奔了!最后还是在达西的资助下才有钱成婚，婚后还自诩幸福。这种由无知导致两人不顾一切结婚，自以为幸福，却不知遭了多少人的唾弃、鄙视。

第二桩婚事明显简单了许多：结婚的目的就是为了金钱和财富，没有任何感情基础。夏绿蒂和科斯林可所谓门当户对，金钱成为他们俩唯一的挂钩。虽然婚后并不算幸福，但不得不承认，钱改善了生活，过的并不差。现在像这样为钱而婚的、没有感情的婚姻早已屡见不鲜。

宾利与简的爱情故事算是大众的表现了，两情相悦，众望所归。虽免不了过程有些曲折，但终究在亲友祝福、父母见证下完婚。婚后幸福而美满，和睦且融洽。

达西与伊丽莎白的爱情可算的上是难能可贵了。达西对伊丽莎白的一见不钟情，二见却倾心的感情一直持续了下去，伊丽莎白对他则算是日久生情。两个人闹过矛盾，吵过架，翻过脸，伊丽莎白还曾一度讨厌他，但最后在达西的耐心解释下，一封真情流露的长信，揭穿了威科姆的真实面目，为自己洗脱那些污蔑他的谣言，使伊丽莎白对他刮目相看。后来达西对伊丽莎白一家人给予帮助，一点也没有他那傲慢的特性和那种上流社会的偏见，终于感动了伊丽莎白——她曾今还拒绝过达西的求婚，达西竟然还能伸出援手，不变感情——文中许多描写两人心理的句子很值得回味。两人最终结成百年好合，也算是来之不易的幸福。

全文四桩婚事犀利批判当时社会多数人的婚姻价值观在于金钱财富，而文章中达西与伊丽莎白的爱情故事则犹如镜中花、水中月，似乎遥不可及。所以在追求爱情的路上，一定要坚持自己的信念，不要因为金钱、名利等现实因素而草草决定，要坚持寻找自己的真爱，要学会珍惜相爱的彼此，不要由于别人的一些话而改变自己，相信自己，幸福要自己去经营!

爱情是建立在两性之间平等的基础上，这是每个现代人的共识，这却不是古往今来的共识。这个共识是经过很长历史的进化，很多人的勇敢争取来的。在男女不平等的年代，有一个女性站出来争取自由而平等的婚姻，这份勇敢就值得我们敬佩和谨记。17世纪，在英国的小镇上有一位不俗的女子，她用她的笔，为世间所有的女子指明一条爱情的正途：在相互了解，相互尊重的男女间才会有真正的爱情。

我最喜欢的《傲慢与偏见》就讲述了这样一个故事：地方土乡绅的二女儿伊丽莎白是个聪慧敏捷思想前卫的女孩子，得到了大庄园主达西先生的爱慕，达西很快求婚，但是遭到了伊丽莎白的拒绝，伊丽莎白在不明就里的情况下听信了别人的谣言，认为达西是破坏自己姐姐的爱情的罪魁祸首，她认为，达西人格很缺陷，配不上自己。可是后来，随着俩人的进一步接触，伊丽莎白发现达西并非人们传说的那样不堪，相反，他是一个正人君子，帮助别人，也帮助自己解决了很多的事情。在误会一点点解除后，有情人终成眷属。

爱情有一个过程，这个过程在于两个人的人格的是不是能走到一起，伊丽莎白和达西是两个处于不同阶级，不同环境的两个人，之间有不可避免的有隔阂，而在相处中他们渐渐的消除了这个隔阂，同时发现了对方的闪光点，互相赢得了理解，赢得了尊重，也赢得了爱情。

爱情就该是如此的：我理解你，所以我尊重你;我爱你，所以我愿意理解你。

After reading "A tale of two cities"

"A tale of two cities" is one of Dickenss most important representative works.The novel profoundly exposed the society contradiction before the French Revolution,intensely attacks the aristocratic social class is dissolute and cruel,and sincerely sympathizes with the depressed classes.The novel also described many magnificent scenes like the revolt people attacked Bastille and so on,which displayed peoples great strength.

The novel has portrayed many different people. Doctor Manette is honest and kind but suffers the persecution actually ， Lucie is beautiful and gentle ，Charles is graceful and noble，Lorry is upright and honest ，Sydney is semblance of indifferent, innermost feelings of warm,unconventional but also selfless and lofty，Miss Pross is straightforward and loyal，Evremonde brothers are cruel and sinister......The complex hatred is hard to solve, the cruel revenge has made more hatreds, loves rebirth in the hell edge,but take the life as the price.

As an outstanding writer,in Dickenss work,the language skill is essential.Each kind of rhetoric technique,like the analogy,the exaggeration,the contrast,the humorous,and the taunt are handled skillfully,and the artistry of the work is also delivered the peak."A tale of two cities" has its difference with the general historical novel, its character and the main plot are all fictionalizes.With the broad real background of the French Revolution,the author take the fictional character Doctor Manettes experience as the main clue,interweaves the unjust charge, love and revenge three independences but also incident cross-correlation stories together,the plot is criss-crossed,and the clue is complex.The author use insert narrates,foreshadowing,upholstery and so many techniques,causes the structure integrity and strictness,the plot winding anxious and rich of theatrical nature,it displayed the remarkable artistic skill.the style "A tale of two cities" is solemnity and melancholy,fills indignantion,but lacks the humor of the early works.

These days, I read the book "pride and prejudice", immediately mixed feelings in the heart, mind, and Im ripping mad. "Pride and prejudice" mainly about the British in the 19th century social middle class farmer Mr Daughters of romantic story. Eldest daughter JiAn gentleness docile, beautiful, with weak character of rich kids bentley love at first sight, but at a crucial moment had twists and turns. Second daughter, Elizabeth smart beautiful, have ambition, have definite view, darcy met with riches. 通过读这本书，我了解到19世纪初期英国社会上层与中层不同阶级之间在联姻上的门第观念和世事人情，以及作者塑造的真正的爱情可以超越不同阶层的对立，消除傲慢，消除偏见，达到完美婚姻的这一理想境界。

每天的傍晚，是儿子学习，我的读书时间，我喜欢这份宁静、温馨和从容。就是伴着这份宁静从容，我读完了英国女性作家简·奥斯汀的代表作《傲慢与偏见》，并看完了它的同名电影与电视剧。虽然上学期间读过这部小说，但也只是走马观花，一味追求故事情节，这次细细品读，才发现它的真正魅力，让人久久回味。

英国女性作家简·奥斯汀出生于18世纪的英国乡村小镇，她没上过正规学校，但受到较好的家庭教育，她终身未婚。奥斯汀的作品以轻松诙谐的笔调，描绘了当时英国乡村中产阶级日常生活与田园风光，尤其是绅士淑女间的婚姻爱情风波，一扫当时文学界假浪漫主义潮流。

伊丽莎白的么妹丽迪雅是另一种情况的婚姻。在五姐妹当中，她行为最为放荡无知，每日只知与军官调情。她贪恋威尔的美貌，冲动的跟威尔——一个表面温文尔雅，实际生活放荡的人私奔，置家人的感受于不顾。后经达西的慷慨解救，两人才苟合结婚，婚后丽迪雅还在家人面前炫耀幸福，实在是一个非常自私自利的女人。嫁给了一个伪君子，可想而知婚后生活如何拮据，全靠伊丽莎白与达西救济生活。

奥斯汀所推崇的是后两桩婚姻：伊丽莎白与达西的婚姻，吉英与彬格莱的婚姻。美丽而文雅的吉英与活泼机智的伊丽莎白对待婚姻的态度是理智聪明的，她们的婚姻建立在爱情基础之上，但也不排除物质与相貌的因素。达西在初次见到伊丽莎白的舞会上并未对伊丽莎白的外貌产生好感，也反感她家人的低俗无知，但是随着越多的接触，发现了伊丽莎白的可爱之处。伊丽莎白也在越来越多的接触中发现了达西的美德，消除了对达西的偏见，成就一桩美满的姻缘。尽管他们在门第与教育上存在差异，但婚姻生活是依然是美满幸福的。

在奥斯汀的笔下没有惊心动魄、激情四射的爱情故事，更多是的理智与道德，所以，奥斯汀的爱情观是理智的。在我看来，爱情是美好的，以爱情为基础的婚姻才能经受住婚后油盐酱醋的平淡，真正的爱情不会因为形体的接近或远离而改变，真正的爱情是日久生情，而非一见钟情。

《傲慢与偏见》在对人性的描写上也是深入的。傲慢与偏见属于人性弱点最常见到的两种。出身高贵、财产雄厚、地位高高在上的上流人最容易染上傲慢的习气，对贫穷、粗俗的人瞧不上眼，达西就是其中一例。而地位低下、财产少而又有强烈自尊心的人在面对骄傲的优越者时则以偏见相对抗，这是另一种扭曲的傲慢，伊丽莎白就是一个典型。伊丽莎白最初看不惯达西的傲慢，受风度翩翩的威尔的蛊惑，更对达西的人格产生严重的偏见，但随着深入了解，才发现误会了达西。但是她能勇敢地纠正自己的观点，摆正自己的态度，这一点是值得尊重的。而达西在初次求婚遭拒的情况下，敢于正视自己的缺点并积极改正，这才成就了这桩美满的姻缘。

不难想象，如果达西在初次求婚遭拒后傲慢依然故我，如果伊丽莎白在了解真相后没有面对达西的勇气，那么他们之间永远都会存在着一条不可逾越的鸿沟。人与人之间相处，总会有摩擦，有冲突，有误会，但只要你勇于面对自己的不足，积极改正自己的缺点，削去自己的棱角，小处说，能达到人人和谐、群组和谐，大处说达到社会和谐、世界和谐
