As we know, people have beenliving on the earth for thousands of years, human activity damaged natural environment, such as excessive abuse of natural resources ,the sewage dischargedfrom factories ,the animal slaughter ,kinds of chemical fertilizers andgreen-house effect. All that is mentioned above has a bad impact on the eco-system .Now, many animals aredying out. We are suffering from unhealthy food and water, we are faced withharmful rays and global warming. 很多动物频临灭绝的危险。图表显示，我们能够看到动物物种数量下降的速度越来越快，而且这种趋势将会持续下去。从1980年到2010年，至少有100万动物物种已经消失。更糟糕的是，越来越多的野生动物处于巨大的危险中。这不是一则耸人听闻的新闻，这是一个事实，一个残酷的事实。不幸的是，将来我们可能看不到这些动物了。

我国于2008年6月1日起实行“限塑令”，这一做法，使我国每年节省三千七百万桶石油。塑料袋，这种东西对于普通家庭来说再普通不过了，可是你知道吗，塑料袋却是污染环境的一大因素。塑料袋以石油为原料，不仅消耗了大量资源，而且还需要500年的时间才能被自然分解。

所以，为了保护环境，请减少使用塑料袋。

最近在哥本哈根召开的全球气候变化大会使我们再一次敲响了警钟。虽然最终未能达到预定的效果，但是如果我们没有做到，开再大的会议也只是形同虚设。会议上说，现在全球平均气温正逐渐升高，大部分冰山已经开始融化。如果再这样下去，那么世界将被水淹没。现在的全球平均气温较以前已经升高了1.1℃，别看只是小小的1.1℃，可这是“全球平均气温”啊!如果全球平均气温升高4℃，那么北极和南极的气温将升高16℃，到那时，北极和南极也可以看到大树了。你想一想，到那时，世界将会成为什么样?

其实导致这些灾难的罪魁祸首就是我们人类。据研究，我们每天使用的电器或其他东西会排放大量的二氧化碳，而二氧化碳却是使气温升高的一大因素。如果减少使用电器，那么二氧化碳的排放量也会随之减少。汽车尾气中也含有大量的二氧化碳，应随时提醒爸爸妈妈上班或外出旅游时，应乘坐地铁或公共汽车，尽量少开私家车，这样能减少大量二氧化碳的排放。

所以，为了保护环境，请减少使用电器，少开私家车上班或旅行。

作为社会的主人，改善地球环境，是我们义不容辞的责任和义务。如果世界人人环保、天天环保，就可以创造一个崭新、美丽的世界!
