Today, I hiked on a trail in Arches national Park. It was the longest trail I ever hiked on. It was a rocky and dangerous mountain. I was extra exhausted. When I was at the top, WOW! 嘉峪关市地处甘肃省西北部的河西走廊中部，是古“丝绸之路”的交通要冲，是明代万里长城西端起点──天下雄关嘉峪关而得名。素有“河西重镇”、“边陲锁钥”之称。

“嘉峪关”意为“美好的山谷”，市域南靠祁连山，北倚马鬃山，东接酒泉盆地，西为平坦的戈壁，地处走廊西段最窄处。嘉峪关市总面积1298平方公里，有人口10万。嘉峪关旅游资源以嘉峪关关城、魏晋壁画墓、万里长城第一墩、悬壁长城、长城博物馆、黑山岩画等最为著名。嘉峪关位于古丝绸之路的中段，是明代万里长城的西起点。她南依祁连山，北望马鬃山，长城连接两山，使嘉峪关雄居东西咽喉要道，成为天下雄关。嘉峪关周围古迹众多，名胜林立，敦煌莫高窟、嘉峪关城楼、悬壁长城、七一冰川、魏晋墓等驰名中外，加之当地的夜光杯、大板瓜子、驼绒等土特工艺产品，使嘉峪关又成为重要的旅游胜地。嘉峪关通讯发达，交通便利，国际直拨电话通往海外主要国家;民航飞机每天有1-3个航班，可直达乌鲁木齐、敦煌、西安、兰州等地。地处河西咽喉之地，南有终年积雪的祁连山，北是连绵起伏的马鬃山地势十分险要，自古被誉为河西第一隘口，是历代封建王朝戍边设防的重地也是古代丝绸之路及东西文化交流的交通要道。嘉峪关规模宏大，气势雄伟，整个建筑由内城、外城、城墙等部分组成“城内有城”，它作为内地与西域、中原与大漠之间纷争与融合的见证，悲壮而辉煌。

普陀山。普陀山其实就是普陀岛，位于浙江省东北部海中，是舟山群岛中的一个小岛，其最高峰海拔291.3米。

导游小姐介绍说，从黄浦江码头到达普陀山需要12小时，轮船将一直航行在东海海面上，运气好还可以看到海上日出。可那天老天爷却偏偏不作美，一直淅沥沥地下着小雨。

在海上度过了一晚，第二天睁开眼天已经亮了，可太阳依然不见踪迹。海上浮起了薄雾。透过朦朦胧胧的雾气可以隐隐约约地看到舟山群岛环绕着普陀山，如群龙戏珠一样。虽然没看到海上日出的美景但能够欣赏到舟上群岛刚“出员时的雄伟景象感觉也不错。

经过12小时的海程终于到达了目的地，码头就在普陀山脚下，抬头仰望就可以看到一座座外形雄伟别致的寺庙，极为突出的是山顶上的那座大型寺院，富丽堂皇，神圣庄严。

开始登山了，我把旅行包往身上一背，顾不上打开雨伞就踏上了这座神圣的土地。此山没华山险，没有黄山奇，更没有桂林山水那样秀，但它却有着自己独特的韵味，神圣不可侵犯。登山过程中，有人背着从自家带来的祭品和香火上山祭拜各路神仙。说到这也许你会说这有什么奇怪的，可是他们并不像我们平常那样登山的，他们是每走三步每上三个台阶都会跪下磕头，嘴里还说着些什么。当时年少的我不解地问母亲，她只说了四个字“心诚则灵”，现在想想很是敬佩，他们之所以这么执着就是拥有一颗虔诚的心。

看到他们的行为突然感觉这里的风景是那么壮美，那么迷人，那么充满朝气。东海的汹涌澎湃加上舟山群岛的葱郁真的可以让人大饱眼福。海浪拍打着海岸，呼呼海风吹佛着树枝，清新凉爽。每来到一座寺庙总会闻到烧香的味道，浓浓地味道让人感到头晕目眩，但还是要求观音保佑，保佑一家人平平安安。

吃午饭我们决定在寺院里吃，出门要讲究入乡随俗，来到这里当然是要吃斋饭了，有生以来第一次体验到佛家的滋味，有些不习惯，不过却很有乐趣，所有人围在一起只可以吃素菜，吃慢有时还没有饭吃，督促节约。

将近黄昏，这次神圣之旅也将要结束了，真有些舍不得，它教会我做人要有一颗虔诚的心，对待朋友要有大海一样宽广的胸怀，怀有一颗真诚的心对待人生，对待每一个人。

放暑假了!我可以去厦门玩了!原来，爸爸妈妈早就谋划好这个暑假带我们去厦门旅游，还订好了机票。当我和妹妹一听到这个令人振奋的消息时，整夜整夜睡不着觉，巴不得现在就到厦门了。

期盼已久的厦门旅行如期而至我们一家人高高兴兴的登上了飞机。几个小时后，我们终于到了厦门，听说厦门比我们杭州还小呢!我们到的时候已是傍晚，于是，我们直接去了赫赫有名的步行街游玩。步行街里真是玲琅满目，样样都有，而且还一点儿都不热，各式各样的小饰品，大小不一的饭馆，看的我眼花缭乱!

接着，我们又步行去海边，吹吹海风，可惬意了!

第二天，我们启程去了胡里山炮台，观看各种大炮，一台台的大炮让我震惊不已，原来古代时的大炮是这副模样啊!参观完胡里山炮台后已是下午，然后妈妈直接带着我们去海边游泳，一阵阵的海浪波澜起伏，我们尽情水里嬉闹、捡贝壳，不知不觉就是傍晚了。我现在才知道，原来厦门有盖章本，在整个厦门都很流行，因为厦门比较小，所以，拿到本子，上面会写着哪家店可以敲章，一个个敲，回家时作为纪念，我们自然也敲得津津乐道。

最后我们又去了厦门最有名的鼓浪屿坐了快艇，横行在无边无际的大海上，内心兴奋不已。

厦门之旅结束了，我的思想却还停留在厦门，啊!厦门，一座美丽的海上花园!

Im going to Beijing tomorrow,so now I feel very happy.I will go there by plane and stay there for 10 days.This is my first time to go to Beijing,not only the Olympic Games is coming,but also I can learn more knowledges about the Olympic Games.And it is a great chance for me to communicate with foreigners,so I wont miit.Therefore,now I want to say:Beijing,Im coming!

On July 23rd my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at YuTingqiao hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.

We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look.

The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, , North Lake and Xiang Hill. I know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. www.oh100.com

It is sunny on 11th,april,saturday. My parents and I paid a visit to Qingdao by bus. There are many places of interest in Qingdao.

we went to the beach, visited the Musuem and May 4th Square.It got its name in memory of the May 4th Movement.

It is composed of the Shizhengting Square, the central square and the coastal park.

We also had all kinds of delicious seafood.

Although were tired,we had a good time. I want to visit Qingdao again.

这个暑假，我们去日本的北海道旅游了。我们参观了箱根牧场、美瑛、富良野农场、小樽、狸小路、登别地狱谷和洞爷湖。我印象最深的是登别地狱谷。还没到地狱谷，就闻到一股臭鸡蛋味，越走近地狱谷，味儿越浓。下车后，我们捂着鼻子往前走。我看到了一个大火山口和几个小火山口，正冒着热气，周围有各种各样颜色的岩石，流出的泉水也呈现出多种颜色。我想，这么多的活火山，如果喷发了，很危险的！我们继续往前走。我看到一个围栏，里面有一个小火山口，里面的水咕嘟咕嘟地冒气。火山喷发的时候，喷出的岩浆温度有将近1000度呢！现在火山口的温度大概90多度。

大自然真是太神奇了！火山的形成是由于地底下有岩浆，岩浆越聚越多，就会喷发出来。喷发出的火山灰经过熟化以后，就会变成对植物非常有益的营养物质，所以日本的水果很甜、很好吃。
