在两个绿色的大圆盘之间藏着一朵红莲，它斜着身立着，倚在其中一片莲叶上。它的花瓣红中带粉，粉中带白，白中带黄，每个部位，都有不同的颜色，如同一名少女在脸上涂抹了胭脂。它的花瓣参差交错地叠在一起，一层一层的，好像小朋友围坐着玩游戏。叠交抱在一起的花瓣，鼓鼓的，只露出中间的一点黄，似羞，似怯，很是惹人怜爱。

如果说红莲是害羞的小姑娘，那么白莲就是温婉的古代女子。瞧，一支白莲从茂密的莲叶丛中冒出来，挺直着背，微含着颌。它白得透彻，白得清爽，白得无瑕，犹如用白玉雕成的艺术品。在它洁白的花瓣上，绣着一丝丝、一缕缕的条纹，纹路有曲折的，有笔直的，给人的视觉带来一种舒适感。那花瓣欲张未张，似收非收，就如一名女子穿着洁白的汉服，举着袖子遮住半张脸，露出迷人的笑颜。每一片花瓣上都接满了晶莹的雨露，一粒粒闪闪发光，把洁白的汉服装饰得璀璨夺目。看着它，我不禁想：她在等待谁?她在期待什么?

看着看着，我的脑海里浮现出周敦颐《爱莲说》中的诗句：“予独爱莲之出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖……”久久徘徊不散。是呀，莲花的品行自古以来都是中国人所赞赏的。我一定要努力做一个有莲花品质的人。
