My English Study

How time flies! My three-year middle school life will be over soon。 Looking back， I have many memories of my English study。

When I entered the middle school， I had so many difficulties with my English。 I was not able to understand the teacher in class， and I couldn’t master the words and phrases。 For a time I wanted to give it up。 Later， with the help of the teacher and my classmates， I listened to the teacher carefully in class， kept on reading English every day and spoke as much as possible。 Step by step I made great progress in English。

In a word， only when you develop interest in studying English can you learn it well。

My hometown is Guiyang, a small city in Southwest China, surrounded by

rolling green mountains. A river runs through it, with locust trees lining along

both banks. In Spring the locust trees all blossom at the same time, spreading

the delicate fragrance all around the city. In Summer there will be little boats

floating on the river, the laughter of children resonating with the sound of the

running water.

I was born and grew up in the city, and Im very affectionate to it. It

rains a lot, but the climate is very mild, neither too cold nor too hot

throughout the year. It is small and not very prosperous, but people there are

warm-hearted and straightforward. The life pace there is slow and peaceful. Its

a good place for spending hot summer days.

When we are small, the teacher told us that we should help others, offering help to someone who is in need of help is Chinese tradition. Zhang Dong is my best friend. He entered our class last semester. He is a

boy. Both of us are good at English, so we often have a chat in English in our

spare time. After school, we often play football together on the playground. He

runs so fast that I can not catch up with him. He is an excellent student. He

not only gets good marks in all subjects but also is very kind and modest. He

loves popular songs and also classical music.

There are three people in his family and he is the only child. His father

is a doctor and his mother is a Beijing Opera actress. Though Zhang Dongs

这一天，我刷过牙，洗过脸后。就向“生态草原”跑去了。我刚跑到那里，就听到有欢呼声。但是，没有人的踪影。只看见草在动。我摸着路走了进去，终于看见了一个人，我奇怪地问：“你们在玩什么呀！”“我们在玩捉迷藏呢！”他回答。“我要参加！”我喜跃的说。我话音刚落，就有人在我们后而把我“劫持”了。我灵机一动，向后面一看。原来是我的好朋友何坤和尹生尹术他们，把我吓了一大跳，心都快“蹦”出来了。“我们一起玩吧！”我说。“好！”他们想都没想就不假思索地回答了。说着我们就玩了起来。

先“石头剪刀布！”输了的那一个人就在约定好的胜利门数20下。这时他刚转过头来就看不到人影了，小朋友们好像“人间蒸发”掉了一样。于是他就仔细的找了起来，在他找的时候，有许多人都回了胜利门，看着朋友们一个个都回了胜利门，我的心开始慌乱了起来，结果一慌乱，就露出了马脚。见自己已经暴露，我立马朝利门奔去。原以为自己会摸到胜利门，结果，就在千钧一发之计，那只“雄鹰”扑了上来，见到如此行事，我毫不犹豫地躲闪开来。结果让他扑了个空。我一躲闪开，就立马去摸胜利门，结果哪儿想到那只“雄鹰”还真是生命力顽强啊！他又站了起来，又向我们扑来。这时“一方有难，八方支援。”他们都拉着嗓门叫着：“加油！加油！”我听到了他们的加油声，我也彪了起来，他几次扑来，我却如猴子一般地次次躲开。最后搞得两败俱伤。见他筋疲力尽，我立马朝胜利门鼓起气力飞奔过去。他见我想溜走，立马扑了上来，这次可是紧要关头，所有努力，都在这一瞬间了，我可不能输。于是;我成功地躲开了他的追捕。最后他倒在地上，力气用“尽”了，我朝胜利门奔去……最后没想到他到“手”的“鸭子”还是飞了。就这样，我们一直玩到了中午。直到吃饭我们才各自回家。

现在想起那件事真是令人怀念啊！真想让时间到流，回到那个时候。跟小朋友们一起玩耍，嬉戏、打闹。度过每一日，每一年啊！

I’m a dog lover, because dogs are tame, friendly and easy to communicate

with. I have kept one in my house, whose name is Chocolate. She is covered with

brown curly hair and looks like a Teddy Bear. Now we have been living together

初二上学期，由于不满于班级内压抑的学习气氛，我准备了一套“休闲学习法”——只需课上听讲，课下对课程不闻不问。加上本来就不太专心听讲，所以成绩很快便下来了(但当时的我并不知晓)。还嘲笑专心学的同学是“书呆子”、“大傻冒”。但期末考试的成绩却给我了一盆冷水——前十名开外。想当年我也是班里的“尖子”。我的心仿佛被冻住，成了真正的“大傻冒”。这便是不愿接受磨练的结果。

In recent years, thousands and thousands of people leave the comforts of their homes to study in countries such as united states,Canada,England and so on. Whats more, more and more people study abroad become younger. Why do they do it? The problem is worthy of serious consideration.

Everything has tow sides. Not only has the advantages but also has disadvantages, including studying abroad. On the one hand, the developed countries are more advanced in education, philosophy and teaching facilities, students can receive better education. If I have the chance to go abroad to study, I want to go to USA. First of all.I Will learn the local language,so that i can solve the language barrier. Then, I Will choose the computer professional.I must be hardworking,because my goal is to get a masters degree. Then, IWill work for a few yeas after I graduate.It can help me to accumulate experience, and then,I Will go to the famous city Silicon Valley of America to apply for a technical staff. Nowadays, electronic music is very popular around the world. First

electronic music got popular from Lady Gaga, her creative dressing styles caught

peoples attention and then people started to notice her music. They fell in

love with her electronic music. Unlike rock and roll music, electronic music is

more favorable by me. It makes me excited and I am totally lost in the wonderful

music. Once my friends and I went to a music festival. There were so many people

standing there and listening to the music. Especially when the DJ came out and

everybody got excited. When the DJ played electronic music, my friends and I

shook our bodies and joined the crowd to dance. It was such a wonderful

experience for me. I will never forget the power of electronic music. It brings

people together and share the same emotion.

One’s thought , creative thinking and exploration spirit, therefore, have been stifled by pursing measurable high scores and various certificates when confronting this harsh reality. On the other hand , that college students fail to change the conventional view on jobs and to adapt their goals to the reality deepens this problem. Were there no prompt and proper solution to this problem, never would we taste the happiness of the harmonious society.

What should be done to reverse this situation? For one thing, instead of just earning their degrees and high exam scores, college students are expected to cultivate their potentials such as creation, imagination and coordination. Such qualities, though cannot be measured by their college certificates, really matter in their prospective career. For another thing, the educational institutions are supposed to integrate more practical training in their programs so that more netpetent college graduates can be produced for our society. Above all, the new awareness that all jobs are equal in dignity and that fame and excellence can be reached at any occupation should be promoted in the whole society.

MySpringFestival Last year’s Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my

aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring

Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My

mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV

programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought

the dumplings were delicious. On the first day of the New Year, we visited our

relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought

some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the

road. It was more alive than any other time of a year. On the second and the

third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger

trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We

all enjoyed ourselves. I had an interesting Spring Festival. How about you?

Since I watched the movie and was attracted by the girl who was dancing like an angel, I wanted to be her. I told my mother that I wanted to take the dance class. She was very happy and took me to the dance studio. At first, I practised so hard and felt great to make progress step by step. But a month passed, I felt so bored to do the same movement everyday, and I wanted to quit the class. But thinking about letting my mother down and if I gave up this time, I would do the same thing next time, so I decided to insist. This was the road that I chose, so I can’t give up.
