From Monday until Friday most people are busy working or studying, but in

the evenings and on weekends they are free to relax and enjoy themselves. Some

watch television or go to the movies; others participate in sports. It depends

on individual interests. There are many different ways to spend our spare

time.

Almost everyone has some kind of hobby. It may be anything from collecting

stamps to making model airplanes. Some hobbies are worth a lot of money; others

are valuable only to their owners.

I know a man who has a coin collection worth several thousand yuan. A short

time ago he bought a rare ten-yuan piece worth 250 yuan. He was very happy about

the purchase and thought the price was reasonable. On the other hand, my son

collects match boxes. He has almost 600 of them but I doubt if they are worth

any money. However, to my son they are extremely valuable. Nothing makes him

吃完饭，我们到了二姨家，我们就开始准备送给长辈们的礼物，这可是我和表哥表姐事先约好的。出门时，我就准备了剪刀和花纸，咱们就开始剪起来。一会儿，我们就剪好了12张剪纸，家中只有10位长辈，怎么办？有了，今天是三姨的生日，加一张，外婆是一家之长也加一张，这不就解决完了。下一步就是“打包”。用长方形的花纸叠个小包，把剪纸放进去。叠小包，我最行，所以小包由我来叠。表姐是写字高手，祝福语由她来写。只剩下装剪纸了，就让表哥来做吧。分工完毕，我们就做起来。做完了，下面就是送礼物了。10个包，一人分3个，还剩一个，就给表哥。“一会儿咱们送过去，用普通话说：‘这是我们送给您的新年礼物，请笑纳……’好，就这样，出发”。我一声令下，我们付诸行动了。

Xiao Hong is going to learn to ride bicycles. She is on the bike and ready

box on the shoulder. Her grandmother holds the back seat tightly. They are all

wet with sweat. However, the bike is being moved not by Xiao Hong herself but by

her parents and grandmother. "Let me do it myself, will you?" says Xiao Hong to

In my opinion, it is right that parents should take care of their children. But

as children, we need the chance to learn and practice some skills by ourselves.

On a sunny day, Xiao Hong is learning to ride bicycles. She is about to

ride when her parents and grandmother come and help her. They hold the handles

and the back seat. Her mother carries a first-aid box on the shoulder. They look

worried and are all wet with sweat. The bike moves ahead. However, it is driven

not by Xiao Hong but by her parents and grandmother. "Let me do it myself, will

I think you had better feed a hamster,the trediest kind of pet these days is the small hamster. People like them because they are quiet and clean. I have a hamster named Tom,it’s very cute and easy to take care of,and it’s cheaper than rabbits or cats,so I bought it. Every year a lot of people are killed or injured in road accidents. How can

we make the roads safer? Remember the following traffic rules.

When you ride a bike, keep to the right side of the road. Dont cross the

road or turn left at a red traffic light. Give a hand signal if you want to turn

or stop.

Before crossing the road, stop and look both ways, right and left. If the

road is clear, it is safe to cross. The correct way to cross is to walk quickly,

but not to run. If you run across the road, you may fall down.

If you see small children or old people waiting to cross the road, it is a

kind deed to help them to cross in safety. We should teach small children not to

play or ride on the roads.

Since I go to high school, I have many annoyances. On the one hand, I am

under great pressure on my study, I need to take the exams every month, once I

am falling behind other students, I will feel that I am not doing well. I always

want to be the best, but things cant go on my way. On the other hand, I dont

want to talk to my parents, if they ask me the questions, I will answer them

with few words. I think they wont understand me, so I am not willing to

communicate with my parents. I know I am in the adolescence, my body grows fast,

changes happen on me, my emotion is unstable. So I need to learn to adjust

myself and get used to these changes. I need to open my heart and have less

pressure.

Li Ming studies in a high school, and this is his second year. In order to

This afternoon, my parents and I went to Huad Shan with their friends.Recently, they have developed a new feature such as Gu Keng coffee, yard coffee shop, and B&B.This time, we went to a place that has natural trees, flowers around us. On the side of the stone road, had a long river and we could hear the water voice. It was very comfortable. The most I like it because there were not many people so that we could have a quiet condition.In addition, adults took noodles, fruits, and teas to get more interest. During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year

and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown

in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so

that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small

village in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV set

and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or

rebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on an

entirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries any

more.

One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers were

going to join a tour and travel abroad. Previously, the villagers were busy in

their farm work all the year round, but now they have much more time and money

these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as

soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.

Tang Shaofeng, on behalf of the students, made a speech. He said that safety concerns every one of us and hidden threat against safety was everywhere.
