My winter vacation

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

Last summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of

our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers

and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are

lots and lots of visitors.

Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests). There are all kinds of

strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big

stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls,

double-edged swords, mice, elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone

like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.

I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight

Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs

through the whole city. If you go along the river, youll never get lost. There

are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all

like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I

really had a good time.

I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than

me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the

elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are

very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.

The trip to Yunnan impressed me greatly. I will never forget it.

I want a villa ，with a big pool ， a basketball playground and a garden 。 because i love my family ，and my parents like flowers and green trees ， my boy friend likes playing basketball ， and i like swimmming and beautiful plants 。 So i want a big and pretty house ， which full of loving and colourful life 。

I hope this villa has three floors 。 The first floor has a living room ， a washing room and a kitchen 。The second floor has four rooms， one is our bedroom ， one is my parents room ， one is my husband parents room and one is my schoolroom 。 The third floor has two roomsfor the guests， a room for playing billiards， and a room for entertainment， such as playing majiang 。

We will feed two dogs 。 one name is AoAo and the others is XiuXiu 。Their names together means it never give up till biting the bad man death 。 That menas well get over every difficulty ，try our best ， making us together and love each other forever ！

When we watch the TV series, there is always the similar plot, in order to fulfill the dreams, the protagonist give up the best time for the treatment, though they are seriously ill. This sounds so inspiring, the spirit of pursuing the dreams moves so many audiences, but for me, besides moved, I feel more sorry about the protagonists, for their unwise choices. Life is important, only the living person can have the rights to talk about the dreams, if they lose their lives, everything is impossible. So health is more important than dreams, people need to keep themselves healthy first, and then they can better fulfill their dreams. The wise person will choose to get the treatment and give up the dreams for a while, when they recover, they continue their dreams. So health first, then other things rank second.

My favourite teacher is my English teacher Ms Hu . Her English name is Sally . She is a beautiful lady. She is very humorous. But sometimes she is very strict with us. In China, people treat the family as a very important union, families get together now and then, even the kids get married, they still treat their parents in the first place. So the family means so much to everyone, family has great influence on them.

When the family gets on well, people can focus their mind to work, they don’t need to worry about other issues. 少先队员们为什么要走上街头开展查找错别字、不规范字的活动呢？原因扰在于这些错别字、不规范字给社会生活、生产带来很多麻烦，甚至造成木可弥补的损失。像新腌某工厂在印刷商标时，把"乌鲁木齐"印成了"鸟鲁木齐",几十万元的商标费就因一个错别字而。‘泡汤"了，这不令人觉得可惜、可叹吗？我们中学生在习作时，也常出现写错别字的现象，如有人把"上调"写成"上吊".有的人在寄信时胡乱写上地址，如把福州市的"化民营"写成"化民管",致使邮局难以辫认，有些重要的事就被耽误了。我们青少年正处在学知识的时候，如果我们学习时不注意辫认字的音、形、义，不注意消灭错别字，那么当我们步入社会时，就会片社会造成种种危害。如果汉字这一宝贵文化遗产一旦毁在我们这一代人手中，我们怎么面对先人和向后代交代呢？所以，消灭错别字、不规范字是很有必要的。

北京的少先队员们走上街头，发现错别字数量之多，实在令人惊诧。首都的街头竞是如此，那么其他地方更是可想而知。可见，社会上太多的人不注意正确使用我们自己的文字了。正确书写汉字是我们每个人都应该做到的，只有这样，街头巷尾的错别字才能销声匿迹，才能使大家看到的都是整齐而且规范的汉字。

常言道，错误并不可怕，关健在发现错误如何甘待它。教育部门、出版社为我们提供了很多工具书。当我们书写、阅读感到疑惑时，应当充分利用工具书。正确书写汉字，是每个中国人都应该做到的。更是我们青少年必须掌握的基本功。

只是我忘记了世间还有一个永恒的真理叫做“天下没有不散的宴席”，人生在世，谁都只是谁生命中的过客，难以相伴到永远，即使她是我的天使。难道在她花费一年的光阴和心血将我拯救之后完成了她的使命就必须离开了么？这个分别到来得太意外了，在我还没有准备好离开天使的守护时，命运就这么生生地将我们分开。我一次次地欺骗自己说这不是真的，我还想在她的注视下重返巅峰，还想在她的陪伴下走完十七岁的雨季、十八岁的成人礼，还想在她的期盼下捧回一张烫金的大学录取通知书，直到走进象牙塔---可是当我看到，昔日她那被作业本和教案覆盖的书桌，现在是如此的空空荡荡，看到一位陌生的老师取代了她削瘦的背影，我才清醒过来发现她真的走了。她带走了一切证明她曾经来过存在过的痕迹，却唯独带不走那颤抖的声音，如炬的目光，还有她头顶上天使的光环。

I always think there is not enough time. For example， I have just taken a

three-day holiday. But when I look back， I just feel that it‘s only one day.

There goes a proverb， “Time is money”。 Now I want to say， time is more precious

than money， because when money is spent， we can earn some more again. However，

when time is gone or lost， never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually

limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I am

always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think， I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting
