People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. Meggie was an excellent girl, she was able to find an outstanding boy to love her, but she put all her love on Ralph even she married Luke. She married Luke just because Luke looked like Ralph. Meggie wanna be a thorn bird, but I think it was too cruel to her. She was so kind that she shouldn’t stand that king of pain, and I think she was born to ha一ve a happy life. I pity for her.

Both the story of thorn birds and the legend are painful and beautiful, but not every one can be the thorn birds, because it is not our porpose to ha一ve a painful life. We are born to be happy. 清晨的日光很好，不急不躁的落下来，草叶上有露水再发亮。村子里的小路上铺有一层很干净的尘土，踏上去软软的，留下浅浅的脚印。

It was the Eve of the Spring Festival.

Dusk was just falling as I slurped up the last bit of rice and laid down my chopsticks.

“Theyre starting!” cried my friend excitedly. “Quick! Quick!”

Outside, children were running everywhere. Their happy voices and faces made me warm inside, despite the cold wind that greeted me. My friend thrust a bundle of straw in my hands. “Come!” he cried. I giggled as I ran to catch up to him; the childrens excitement was a fever that spread to even the big kids like us.

I soon joined a rowdy bunch of children and teenagers who were building a bonfire in the middle of a path that ran through the wheat fields. “Here,”said my friend, handing me a long bamboo pole. “Put some of your straw in the fire. Then tie the rest onto your pole like this.” He demonstrated with his own materials, and I followed his example. Then he thrust both our torches into the fire and handed me mine. “Now run!”

And run I did----we all did. For miles and miles around, as far as I could see, there were small orange specks scattered about, and I could hear the distant screaming and laughing of other children running up and down the rice field path. For several hours into the night I helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. Occasionally I, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.

This festival, which occurred six days before Chinese New Year, was just one of the experiences during the visit to my friends over the Spring Festival. As it was explained to me, the purpose behind this festival was to allow the children to have fun burning up all the straw leftover after the harvest. Later, the ash is used for fertilizer.

I am a college student, this is my fourth year in the college, which means

that I will graduate soon. Nowadays, many of my classmates have taken the action

to find the job interview, while I tell myself to calm down, actually, I have no

idea about my future, so I haven’t taken the action.

When the graduate season comes, students have to worry about their jobs,

for me, I have many annoyances, first, I don’t know which city should I go. On

the one hand, I want to stay in the present city that I live, because I have

many college students here, I can fight my career with them, we can also take a

drink when we have time. But on the other hand, if I want to stay in this city,

it means I have to be far away from home. I want to stay with my family, my

中午，我们找了个餐厅吃午饭，结束后便开始了下午的旅程。我们去的长城是八达岭长城。到了后，我们便照着地图成功登上了长城，俗话说“不到长城非好汉”，现在我算好汉了吧。我站在长城上，向远处眺望，在蓝天与绿树之间，那蜿蜒的巨龙便是长城，但始终看不到尽头，但是我并没有就此放弃，我更加兴奋的走了一段又一段，直到夕阳出现，才只好回家。

我重新再找着记忆的碎片，翻出一块苍白的碎片。小时候的我体弱多病，有一次，仅仅因为不小心咬到了嘴唇就血流不止，被送进了医院，但是附近的小医院并没有什么方法，父母只好马上叫来一辆车，将我送进了大医院，但有的大医院床位已满，父母只好将我送去其他医院。就这样，我在各种医院之间来回辗转，在终于安定下来后的一夜，我因难忍疼痛而嚎啕大哭，母亲在一旁只是安慰着我，双手紧紧握住我的手，脸上充满疲惫与泪痕。尽管母亲的双手大而温暖，但那时的我却无法感受到这份温暖。

I know a twelve-year-old girl, who, to my surprise, has little time to

play. She told me that she dreamt of being a dancer, so she must learn to dance,

play music and so on. Sometimes, she is out of breath under such pressure, but

she can’t stop because modern life is busy.

In addition, I find those girls know more and more. Although they are

我的父亲是一位平平淡淡的教育工作者，默默无闻的在那片属于自己的三尺讲台上无私的耕耘着、奉献着，最终是带着无限的眷恋、遗憾的离开了自己辛勤工作的讲台而走的。

我的父亲是--年参加教育工作的，在我懂事时，父亲就跟我说，以后要好好学习，将来为祖国的建设做贡献。他用美好的青春为学生编织着一个个美丽的梦想，用丰富的知识为学生架起一座座腾飞的桥梁，他如同苍穹下的一株小花，只愿为大地送去一缕清香，他又如蓝天上的一抹晚霞，只愿为点缀天空现出自己的灿烂。他更是日出而作、日落而息的农民，只在于庄稼的长势与收成，却从不计较自己付出的多少。

上世纪六七十年代父亲由于工作出色，被提拔为校长，从此他的工作更忙，每天早出晚归，当时由于工资待遇低，很多老师转行，但父亲始终如一的坚持着，始终把教育工作放在第一位，担任领导，他更是兼任毕业班的数学课，年终排名始终在前两三位，在他的潜移默化下，我也走上了教育工作岗位。父亲说：“教书是良心事业，一定要对的起自己的良心。不能耽误孩子们的前途。”在他的教育下，我也始终把教育工作放在首要位置，从教三十年来，也获得了一些奖项。父亲在临近退休时不幸得了食道癌，但他没有告诉任何人，仍坚持给学生上课，到最后实在咽不下饭时，才被我们发现，但他仍不愿离开工作岗位，在家人的苦求和劝说下，勉强同意入院检查，结果是癌症晚期，在他病重期间，我利用放学时间去看他，他总是对我说：“不要来看我，多花点时间在学生身上。”当时那场景真是令人心酸，在91年的10月，父亲走完了他人生的道路，不无遗憾的走了，正如叶圣陶老先生所说：捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去。

在父亲的教诲下，我们弟兄三人全是光荣的人民教师，并且在教育岗位上默默工作着。我的女儿也在家庭熏陶下于2009年9月也走上了教育岗位。因此，我可以很自豪的说：“我们是教育世家。”

今后，我要继续父亲未完的事业，在教育工作岗位上续写新的篇章。

This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

The Dangers of the Fake Product

“Shan Zhai” is the new words to express fake products, people use it to express the highly imitated products, some manufacturers produce the Shan Zhai products to make great profit, but it is so unfair to the customers, they pay so much money in the purpose of buying the genius stuff instead of the fake products. Fake products not only cheats people’s money, but also brings people dangers. Such as the medicine, if people buy the fake one, once they eat it, they will feel uncomfortable and get the illness, the most terrible situation is that they will kill themselves. Fake product is so harmful, though the government has taken some action to ban it, still people sold it, it is the temptation of profit that makes people sold it. What if their relatives have bought the products, so in order to keep people healthy, fake products should be banned.

“山寨”是用来表达伪劣产品的新代言词，人们使用它来表达高仿产品，一些生产商生产山寨产品以此来获取巨大的利润，但是这对于顾客来讲是不公平的，他们花费了这么多的钱，只为了买到真的产品而不是假的产品。伪劣产品不仅欺骗了人们的钱，而且给人们带来了危害。比如药，如果人们买到伪劣的，一旦服用，就会感到不舒服，生病，最严重的情形就是因此失去生命。伪劣产品是如此的有害，虽然政府已经采取了一些措施来禁止售卖，但是仍然有人兜售，他们是抵挡不住金钱的诱惑。如果他们的亲戚买了这些产品，会怎样呢，因此为了人们的健康，不要再卖伪劣产品了。

Today is Mother’s Day. I know some of my classmates are going to help their mothers with the housework, others .are going to buy some flowers for their mothers. 英语作文：Yesterday, my mother clean the house, she did the big cleaning, so she searched every corner of the house, many old things were dig out, like the toys when I owned at the very early age. But there was one thing surprised me most, it is my photo album, my mother was happy to find it, she opened it to me, I saw myself in different stages. The photo album recorded me since I was born, I saw the wonderful moment my parents wrote, like the date I first talked, my parents took the picture of the moment. Seeing these moments, I felt so thankful to my parents, for not only they recording these beautiful moment, but also for they raise me up, they are such good parents that they cultivate me with all their hearts. I will return them when I grow up.
