I’m an outgoing girl and my name is Shi Yun. I love singing songs,

especially pop songs. My favorite singer is Jay Chou.

As we all know, Jay is a superstar of Asia. He has excellent music skills.

He started to play the piano at 5 years old and studied hard. When he was 15

years old, he was able to write songs. But the environment in which he lived is

not very good. When he was a child, his parents were divorced and as a result

his childhood was full of depression. He lived with his grandparents. He was

always silent and didn’t like talking to others. At the age of 16, he was

attracted by the bass’s low voice. So his mother bought one for him and he

started to play the bass. His success is filled with tears and sweat.

From his story, I know if I want to be successful, I should work harder. I

want to go in for music, although I know the way to success is very difficult

for me. Now that I choose this way, I’ll do my best to realize my dream. Of

course I will tell myself I will be a superstar someday.

照片里的老人，双手怀抱着一个不到两周岁的小孩，咧着嘴笑着。那是一种怎样的笑容，怎样的眼神，像是要把自己所有的温暖与爱都倾注于这个小孩。

没错，照片里的小孩是我，那位老人便是我的外公。他现在已被上帝召唤了去，带着我对他的思念，静静地走了。

小时候，喜欢坐在小石凳上听外公讲故事，讲他们小时候的故事。从故事中，我知道了外公的父亲是一位红军，在外公三岁的时候就牺牲了。他告诉我，他以他的父亲为荣。

外公送我的第一份礼物是一本陈旧的字典，那时候的我并没有见过这么厚的书。天真地问外公：“哇，世界上还有这么厚的书啊。”外公拍着我的脑袋笑笑说：“傻孩子，知识是无穷无尽的，以后你还会学到很多书籍，比这更厚的书。记住，要用知识武装自己，做个对社会有用的人。”

外公有时也会对我发狠。有一次，我和邻居小伙伴拌嘴，我一生气把他推进泥坑，他“哇”得一声哭了起来，外公闻声赶来，我以为外公要替我出气了，没想到他拿着柳条，在我身上一顿狂抽，直到我向人家道了歉为止。回到家，外婆心疼地挽起我的裤腿，一边流泪一边抱怨外公下手太重。外公什么也没说，只是在桌上放了支膏药，便坐在床上点了支烟。我知道那里一定有一双泪眼。

后来，上了初中，我被接到父母身边。由于课业的繁重，几乎很少去看他们，偶尔回去吃顿饭，外公总是握着我的手，什么也不说。他会偷偷塞给我零花钱，会偷偷往我碗里夹肉。再后来，外公想我了，就跑到校门口等我，等我放学了，就在人潮中使劲找我，看到我后便冲我憨笑，又塞给我零花钱，说：“外公没多少钱，这些拿去买好吃的。有时间来看看我们，时间长了，怪想你的……”

小时候，以为牵着我手的那个老人，永远不会离开，可等我长大努力了，他却看不到了。我多想握住你的手，一直走下去，可惜，只剩回忆陪着我独自前进。

Today I found time was a cruel thing.

Whatever man is, time always goes on.It won‘t stay to wait for somebody. You can‘t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing.

Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won‘t leave them more. Today I found I hadn‘t enough time. Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do.

I had a lot of homework to do and I had something necessary to do.

Most westerners always celebrate Christmas Day as their major festival， in order to memorialize Jesus.During that time， they always have several days off， so they can enjoy this festival with all their hearts.The children often get together with their friends.The adults are busy with decorating their houses.They also send the postcards with their best wishes to each other. In the streets， there are so many Fathers Christmas sending presents to the passers-by.And everything is on a discount in the supermarkets.Thus the supermarkets are the busiest places.

In the evening， the families usually have pudding， sandwiches， apple pies and some other desserts for dinner.After supper， the families always sing and dance around the Christmas tree.Sometimes， they also go to church.Before going to bed， the children often hang up their stockings beside their bed， so that Father Christmas will fill them with presents.It is said that Father Christmas always drives a deer to the human world and entering into each house from the chimney.Now the children no longer believe in Father Christmas， but they still hang up their stockings， because their parents will fill them with presents.
