Hundreds of thousands of years ago, man began to tame wild dogs. After the dogs were tamed, they were trained. The strong dogs became working animals. They were trained to pull heavy loads. They learned to keep an eye on the sheep and other animals. Working dogs had other jobs, too.

Some dogs were not strong. But they could help man hunt for game. Other dogs were best as pets.

Today, there are more than 100 kinds of dogs in the world.

Dog is a loyal animal, it is never too poor to love rich, not like cats, who is warm, good, young and ran who, so you would like to ask what is my favorite animal, I would definitely say: "the dog"!

狗是一种忠厚老实的动物，它从不会嫌穷爱富，不像猫一样，谁家暖和，谁家好吃的多，就往谁家跑，所以要问我最喜欢什么动物，我会肯定地说：“小狗”!

狗的种类有很多，如哈巴狗、金丝狗……，它们的颜色不同，有纯白色、纯黑色等，我最喜欢黑白相间的哈巴狗。

记得有一次，我们家门口有一只狗悲惨的叫着，那只狗好像是只流浪狗，我可怜它，想把它抱回家，可是妈妈不同意，我只好回家了。但是我刚打开家门，那只狗就如闪电般地溜进了我们家，妈妈想赶它走，我挡在妈妈面前，不让她赶，妈妈无奈之下只好不赶了。

我想给这只小狗给点吃的，就在这时，屋里飞来一只苍蝇，我举起塑料瓶扔过去，不料，没打中，出师不利!我急忙去捡，这时，这只小狗像离弦的箭一样冲过去，叼起瓶子，跑到我面前，把瓶子交给我，此刻，我就越喜欢这只小狗了。

这只小狗以后就和我一起玩耍。当我写作业时，它总要爬到桌子上，摇摇尾巴，看着我，真可爱。每天我放学回家，一进门小狗就亲昵的跑来用身子蹭蹭我，好像在说：“欢迎你回家”。

在散步时，小狗总跑在我前面，一会儿看看这，一会儿看看那，离我远了，它就停下来等会我，有时像个调皮的孩子一样，还跟我捉迷藏呢……

这只小狗成了我心中最好的朋友!我很喜欢它!
