great contribution to establishing friendship. Thus, working in a team is one of

the most effective ways to extend our personal relationships.

To sum up, to learn to work in a team is really necessary and important and

we should try to enjoy it.

Nowadays, with the development of computer, the function of computer has developed, too. We can use computer to check the instant news, make friend and so on. The reason why so many people addict to computer is that they like to play the computer games, there are all kinds of computer games, everyone can find a game which is suitable to him. Too much involve in the computer games is wasting time, we should control our habit. First, we must set the limit time on it, wed better not to play the game over an hour. We have to tell ourselves that we must stop playing when the time is up, we have another thing to do. Second, we should go out with friends often, so we can communicate with others, it makes our mind not focus on the computer games. I am not saying we should not play computer games, but we should not addict to it.

Zeng Qiao is one of my friends. She is a beautiful, outgoing and good-tempered girl. She smiles frequently. I think it’s her smile that makes her beauty. We live in the same dormitory, so that we always stay together, no matter going to classroom or having dinners. At first, I don’t like her very much, because she is always talking. It seems that she can’t stop open her mouth. I am a little bit quiet and introverted, so I seldom talk to others. But gradually, I find that she can have influence on others by what she says. Zeng Qiao likes sharing interesting things with others. For example, she likes telling us her funny stories of her childhood or her former classmates. She always tells me that I should be more extroverted and learn to talk to others. Under the influence of her, I communicate with others more frequently and I find that it feels so great. I am so grateful that I can have such a good friend.

The Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school, and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year, people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs, sheep, cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year, each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fireworks to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year, almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. Whenpeople meet on the way, they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

春节

农历新年对中国人来说是个很重要的节日。它大约要持续4天，在这期间，除了值班人员外，人们都放假了。工人不开工，学生上不学，商店关门。

新年前几天人们就开始准备。农民们宰杀猪、鸡、羊。城市居民买肉、鱼、蔬菜。人们打扫房子，贴对联，挂彩灯。

新年除夕，各家各户围坐在一起吃团圆饭。饭后，人们看电视，到了午夜12点，在这辞旧迎新的时刻，人们燃放各种烟花炮竹来庆祝。新年第一天，即正月初一，所有的人都穿着最漂亮的衣服，路上相遇，互相道“新年好”，亲戚朋友拜年互赠礼物，孩子们尽情地玩耍。

And "golden waterfall", "color flower"...

This year, we gladly make the Lantern Festival.

元宵节到了，民间有三个习俗：一、吃元宵;二、看花灯;3、放烟花，今天我就在这儿说一说。

元宵有很多种口味：黑芝麻、蓝莓、巧克力等等，其中我最爱吃黑芝麻的了，外皮滑溜溜的(呵呵，听起来怎么那么像肥皂?)咬一口馅就出来了，不是那么甜得发腻，也没有那么淡。好吃!嘻……

我们也去看了花灯。刚入广场大门，可以看到两只高抬着头的凤凰，下面整齐地站着卖荧光棒的小贩，嘴里不停喊着：“走过路过别错过!”走到中间，看见一个大碗，釉色清晰明朗，真像明代的青花瓷!碗的下面还有还有“配餐”:大葱、辣椒、彩椒、西红柿。大碗的前面是一个小舞台，舞台后有八只张牙舞爪的长龙，威风凛凛。大碗的后面是三座冰雕，全是具有古典风格的房屋!大碗的左面是十二生肖有牛、虎、羊……咦?这是老鼠还是松鼠?

晚上，我们看了烟花。呵!从铁人广场一直排出两、三千米，这也验证了一个谜语：世界上最长的车是什么车?答：堵车。我不耐烦了，和妈咪下车看。烟花有红色、橙色、金黄色、绿色、紫色，那最好看的烟花也是最大的：砰，砰，砰，三个金黄色的烟花，形成了一个金黄色的树，漂亮极了。还有“黄金瀑布”、“变色花”……

今年，我们欢欢喜喜的闹了元宵节。

As the Christmas Day is coming, our class decided to send some gifts to our

teachers, because we wanted to show our gratitude to them. At first, we had no

idea what to buy, because we wanted to do something special. So at last an idea

came to my mind. I advised to write a card, pasting some pictures of classmates

on it. Everybody agreed with me, so we spent a day to take some funny pictures,

and everybody wrote down their names on the card. When we sent this gift to the

teachers, they loved it so much. They were so impressed by this precious

surprise and would keep it forever.
