The most happy thing is to watch the fireworks in the evening, my father and I came to the square early on, gathered a lot of people here, they are holding all kinds of fireworks, in an uncles advice, you put the fireworks display in rows on the ground, then firing together, just a ignition, see all kinds of fireworks hatched, let out a loud noise, the sky, as if the sky blasted a hole, the yellow blossoms of colourful fireworks decorate the deep blue sky, open fireworks like a ball, like snowflakes, like the meteor out, drag strips, like contend in fragance and fascination with each other in spring flowers, pleasing, like the day, the dark night with the lantern night is so beautiful, I can be charmed.

今天是元宵节，也叫灯节。到处都洋溢着节日的喜庆，人们都纷纷挂上了各式各样的灯笼，有西瓜灯、绢灯、孔明灯等。

元宵节人们都要吃元宵，元宵种类很多，有豆沙馅的、有芝麻的------看那白白胖胖的元宵，让人胃口大开。最让人高兴的事情就是晚上看烟花，我和爸爸早早地来到广场，这里聚集了很多人，他们手里拿着各式各样的烟花，在一个叔叔的建议下，大家把烟花一排一排地摆放在地上，然后一起点火，刚一点火，只见各式各样的烟花破壳而出，发出一声巨响，从天而降，仿佛把天空炸了一个洞，那一朵朵绽放的礼花把深蓝色的天空布置的五彩斑斓，开放的礼花像一个彩球，像一朵朵雪花，像一颗颗拖着彩带的流星，像春天里互相争芳斗艳的鲜花一样，令人赏心悦目，把漆黑的夜晚照的如同白昼一样，把元宵之夜变得如此美丽，我简直被迷住了。

今年的元宵节真快乐。

every one has a dream. i have a dream, too. i have a dream that one day i could become a math teacher.

i love math very much, because i think math is quite useful. its useful when people are buying things. its useful when students are learning subjects like physics and chemitry. and its useful when scientists are doing experiments. teachers can not only help students to learn things but also teach the students to apply what they learn into practice.

therefore, i hope to be a math teacher in the future. i want to help more students learn math.

这个节日的由来逝代中国有一位博学多闻的官吏屈原，他是一位爱民而且又受到尊崇的官吏，但是由於一位充满嫉妒的官吏陷害，从此在朝廷中被皇帝所冷落。由於无法获得皇帝的重视，屈原在忧郁的情况下投汨罗江自尽。

由於对屈原的爱戴，汨罗江畔的居民匆忙的划船在江内寻找屈原，并且将米丢入汨罗江中，以平息汨罗江中的蛟龙。即使他们当时并没有找到屈原，但是他们的行为，直到今天在端午节的时候，仍然被人们传颂纪念著。

The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man，but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.
