18．荀子（约前313―前238），名况，战国时赵国人，著名思想家。主张“法后王”“性恶论”。《荀子》为荀子和其弟子所作，是先秦儒家重要作品。

19．庄周（约前369-前286），战国宋人，古代著名思想家，道家学派代表人之一。《庄子》为他和其弟子所作，文学性强，多寓言，是道家思想的重要著作。与道家学派创始人老子合称“老庄”。

20．贾谊：西汉洛阳人，政治家、文学家，世称贾生。著作有《新书》、《吊屈原赋》等。

21．司马迁（约前145-约前87），字子长，西汉史学家、文学家和思想家。著作《史记》是我国第一部纪传体通史，它包括12本纪（帝王传记）、30世家（诸侯传记）、70列传（著名人物传记）、10表、8书，共130篇。它与《汉书》《后汉书》《三国志》合称“四史”。鲁迅称赞《史记》是“史家之绝唱，无韵之离骚”。(关于《史记》见第六册)

22．王羲之：（321～379）字逸少，东晋琅?临沂（现在山东省临沂）人。他是古代著名的书法家，其笔势“飘若浮云，矫若惊龙”，有“书圣”之称。王羲之胸怀旷达，喜好自然山水，他的散文疏朗简净，韵味悠长，显示了他的文学功底。因他作过右军将军，后人又称他为王右军。《兰亭集序》即兰亭会诗集的序言。

【基本句型特训】

这里的基本句型包括简单句的五个基本句型和there be句型。

所谓简单句就是由一个主语 (包括并列主语)和一个谓语 (包括并列谓语) 组成的句子, 即一个主谓关系的句子。

There are three reasons why I like it.

特别提醒: 根据历年高考阅卷的情况, 考生写句子最易犯的错是: 不用be时却用了, 或者该用be时却没用。因此, 我们须注意:

1.英语句子通常要有谓语动词, 否则就不完整。如表达 “他很累”, 不能说He very tired.

而要说He is very tired. 因为tired是形容词, 句中无动词。切记: 当句子意思完整, 但句中没有动词时, 一定要加上be。

2. 当句中已有谓语动词时, 若不是进行时态或被动语态, 一定不要再用be。如表达 “他昨天来过这里”, 不能说He was came here yesterday. 而要说He came here yesterday.
