过了二十三，大人们就要忙活了。大人们都要到集市上买过年必备的鸡鸭鱼肉，这就要回家做年菜了。为了辞旧迎新还要扫房子。

终于盼到了除夕，大人们都在忙着做年菜，贴红红的对联和福字。孩子们聚在一起放鞭炮玩耍。不论大人孩子，这一天都要穿上新衣服。除夕的晚上，大家把做好的年夜饭端上桌来，全家热热闹闹的贺新年。这时，还有必不可少的一件事：看春晚，和家人一起看春晚，是多么温馨呀!这天晚上，人们要放跨年的鞭炮，大家很晚才睡觉，或者干脆不睡觉，大家都在等待着新年的钟声。

到了春节的大年三十晚上，春节晚会就开始了，演小品、说相声、唱歌什么节目都有，一个节目演完台下掌声一片，直到三更半夜人们都困了，节目才完。节目完了，可人们还兴致勃勃，因为还没发压岁钱、放烟花呢!等干完这一切，差不多十二点了，小孩子们都拿着压岁钱去睡觉了大人要闲聊一阵才去睡。

第二天，人们又得起个大早，带着买好的礼物去走亲戚，亲戚多的要走好几天呢，少的也至少要走一天多。
