China Life Dong HongXia to January 2013

Although I’m still a freshman in this new semester, I’ve learned a lot from the past few months. I chose English as my major because I extremely love this subject so that I will continuously devote myself into it. Maybe I’ve got not bad gradeslast term and it indeed inspired me to get more progress in the future. But what I know is that it’s still a long way to achieve my ultimate goal and I need to make great efforts. My dream is to be a translator, especially a simultaneous interpreter, but I knew it’s not easy to realize due to my limited knowledge now. So I need to work step by step.

Now it comes to my recent goals. Firstly, to be honest, I’m not good at oral English and English listening, I have to take a great deal of practice. What I plan is listening to the MP3 in order to imitate the foreigners’ accent and speak more in English. At the same time, I will do a lot of News dictation and English listening and comprehension to improve my skills. Secondly, to prepare the CET4 and the 2014National English Contest for College Students, I intend to memorize all the words in my vocabulary book within two or three months and finish my exercise books. Thirdly, I want to maintain my academic of my specialized course or do more better than ever before by working harder. Finishing my assignments and notes is what I need to insist on every day.

Just like the old saying goes, “Nothing is impossible to a willing heart”. I have a strong belief that I can realize my dream as long as I persist in it and study hard with plenty of time and patience.

This morning, i take my first taste on seeking family education with a high heart-lever. in latest, i have summonned up my encourage to carry out this travel, and regulate myself that i will not do work at a payment lowing 20rmb per hour at least for self-thought that i am hold an impressive proficiency of english and an outstanding condition.

after a string of waiting time, i welcame the first customer, a couple. leading a mutual chinchin, our talking seemed going smoothly before refering to the wages. the man said:" how much you want get per hour." i though deeply and gave a reply:" ok, 20 is moderate." the women interfered:" but i have noticed that other tutors just require for a specific pay under 15!" i promptly conscioused that all my particularly excellent conditions descend to an ignorable position when refering to wealth. merely i can leave an so-called engagement for excluding unexpective circumstances...

yes, i am on the way of reaching adultness, the bricks-and-mortar world is not as absolute as i believe. not a popular character i can be only in own mind. yes, i should on days ahead conduct every step on the sea-lever. illusion is virtual, my agenda is need to be foot by foot. i am sure that one day current days are abount to become to what i fantasize now!

北京三日游 A Three-day Tour to Beijing

Last month I went to Beijing to visit one of my friends, because we haven’t seen each other for about two years and I got a holiday meanwhile. It is my first time to visit Beijing, which is always the dream city for all the Chinese. All the information about the city came from the books and TV, now I could see and get know of it by myself, how excited I am!

上个月我去北京看望我的一个朋友，因为我们有将近两年没见，而我刚好有假期。这是我第一次游览北京，这座全中国人都向往的城市。我对北京的所以认知都来自电视和书本，而现在我有机会亲自来看这个城市、来了解她。我多么地兴奋！

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.在我的旅游计划表上，我罗列许多要去的地方，如天安门广场，紫禁城，长城，北京大学等等。然而由于假期太短，朋友只陪我参观了计划表上的几个地方而已。如果有机会，我下次一定会到这来个长期旅游。

I have many hobbies, such as playing computer games, reading comics, going shopping. I also like playing pingpong very much. I have a friend. His name is JooZone. He is crazy about playing pingpong, too. If we have free time, we often play pingpong together. 2010 summer holiday, he took me to a sports centre. Then we played pingpong together, but he always lost. He was very angry. He said to me, “I will beat you in a month.”“OK. We will have a match at that time.” After a month, when I talked to him about it, he answered, “I forgot the thing! I dont want to have a match with you.” I was very surprised and angry and said, “Oh, youre a forgetful boy!”
