One of the waiters said in its outlet on Hongli Road on Monday that they are going to switch to environmentally friendly containers “some time in the future".

However， the Miandianwang outlet in Sams Club， which is affiliated with Wal-Mart， is offering take-out food in light brown containers which are biodegradable. Liang， a clerk with Sams Club， told Shenzhen Daily yesterday that the club required the Miandianwang outlet to do so in its contract.

According to Liang， all the departments in the club switched to biodegradable containers during the Spring Festival holiday.

Zhao Hua， with the energy division of the Shenzhen Municipal Economic Development Bureau， one of the five municipal government departments involved in the curbing of white pollution in the city， said on Monday that large companies and retailers like Wal-Mart and Vanguard have responded to the decree by switching to biodegradable containers. But she admitted that is just the tip of the iceberg in the seemingly endless war on white pollution in the city.

Zhaos bureau has met with four other relevant departments on several occasions. 晚上10时半，我来到石英街口，此时已有两家宵夜摊档“大摆筵席”，在摊档南边的黑暗处，一位老人正用煤炉摸黑烧火煮粥。煮粥大锅露天摆放，冒着腾腾白气。不远处，一位阿姨蹲在地上，在一个红色的大圆盆中洗碗，只见她将脏碗放到一个冒着洗洁精泡泡的大圆盆中涮一遍，但大圆盆的水已经浑浊。

晚上10时30分，我来到石湾南路看到，理想雅菀小区对面陆续有摊档经营者用三轮车将摆摊所需的工具以及食物运到人行道上，然后忙着摆放桌椅、清点食料。我数了数，这里有五个小吃摊档。我留意到，摊档经营者在摆摊时，已经有不少食客在那里站着等候吃夜宵。挡主摆好开档所需用品后，连手都没有洗，也没有戴上卫生防护用具，便旁若无人地用手撕粉。

晚上11时50分，我来到东山路与东门路交叉路口。在东山路北侧两家大排档宾客满座，人行道上摆放了20多台桌子。挡主将蔬菜摆放在一个大桌上，旁边放着一个卤味摊档，一名小伙子正在砧板上切着白萝卜。我凑近一看，发现砧板下方聚集了成群的蚂蚁，不少还在砧板下方乱蹿。小伙子切好一节萝卜后，这才不慌不忙地拿起一块泛黑的抹布，将蚂蚁“抹除”。

我在文明路看到，共有五家大排档连在一起占道经营，路边垃圾堆积，污水横流，纸巾、一次性筷子等遍地都是，路人纷纷绕路而行。而这些大排档所排放出来的刺鼻油烟味，则是附近居民反映最强烈的问题。

我在狮子三路和二环路交叉路口处，看到流动摊档的食品种类繁多，有麻辣烫、烧烤、烧蚝、臭豆腐等，过往车辆不时扬起尘土，地面到处是竹签、纸盒、塑料袋等垃圾。周围经常散发着油烟味、臭豆腐味和垃圾的酸臭味，有些喝醉酒的人还在这里随地呕吐、大小便。

我在石英街观察发现，每个桌子下都有食客随手扔弃的白色纸巾与装套一次性筷子的塑料薄膜，虽然档主会时不时地打扫一下，但仍是垃圾满地。当挡主扫地时，许多食客依然自顾自地吃着。其中一家摊档洗碗大盆旁不到1米远就有一堆白色垃圾，而大盆被满地的污水包围，显得邋遢不已。

在宁正路，我看到大排档工作人员正在手忙脚乱地把肉串和蔬菜放在炭火烧烤，一股股浓烟不时冒出，浓浓的烤焦味也四处弥漫。在椅桌的下面，则置放着一堆堆垃圾，有肉骨头、饭盒、筷子、纸巾等，散发出难闻的味道。

这可真是污染城市环境的！但是又阻碍道路交通！

How to save environment? I think we should do the followings: First, it’s best to ride a bike to school, don’t take a bus or a taxi. Second, I will remember to turn off the lights when I leave the classroom.

Third, in my free time, I will collect the empty bottles and waste paper for recycling. The fourth idea is turning off the shower when I ‘m not using it. Fifth, it is imporment to save water and money.

Also, I won’t spend too much money on expensive things. Last, we had better not cut down the trees, we have to take care of the trees . I’ll try my best to save the energy, I hope I can do something for our country.
