我的家乡在荆州。平时，我对家乡的环境也不大了解 。这几天，我们班组织同学们进行了一次综合实践活动，对家乡的环境进行了一次调查，调查的主要对象是荆州的护城河。这次调查让我受益匪浅。

通过实地调查和上网查资料，我了解到以前的荆州护城河污染十分严重。护城河两侧共有二十多个排污口，每天城区的生活及工业污水排入护城河，直接排入的总污水量约5万立方米。因此，河水变成了浑浊的墨绿色。居住在附近的居民和过往的行人也很不爱护环境，把垃圾随随便便仍进河里，使河水的污染进一步加重。由于护城河是死水，无法流动，河底淤泥非常多，水面上漂浮着大量的蓝藻，河底的沉积物散发着臭味。人们从这里经过，都要捂着鼻子，加快脚步。

护城河的污染成为了荆州人的心中之痛。在广大市民的期盼下，市政府对护城河进行了彻底的治理。经过清淤、补水、截污、绿化……护城河面貌焕然一新。

这些孩子该怎么办?从常熟当地相关部门对服装城展开大规模排查开始，网友们就在各种网络平台上进行了观点交锋：留在当地，这些孩子没有合理合法的依据继续进行劳动、获得报酬;送回原籍，谁也无法保证这些孩子不再成为童工。去留之间，童工们似乎成了一个烫手的山芋。有人认为，应该把选择权交给孩子，让他们自己选择是留在城市，还是回到家乡。但这显然不是什么好办法，其实这个年龄段的孩子，他们的青春应该在校园里，而不是在工厂的流水线上。

在媒体报道中，有一名17岁的小姑娘，坐在挤满高低床的宿舍里，向记者讲述自己的故事。她也曾经是一名童工，现在的她不过是年龄往成年的方向上靠近了一步，迈过了法律规定的16岁的就业门槛，但她所面临的困境与童工没有什么两样——同样来自贫困的西部农村，同样是辍学后外出打工。她的经历告诉人们：童工现象其实长期存在，一批来自贫困地区儿童，他们的基本权益没有得到很好保障。

保障儿童权益，让孩子们健康快乐成长是全社会的共识。童工事件却警示人们：我们对孩子的保护并没有想象中的完善，仍存在死角。上述事件中，孩子权益受到侵害，最直接的原因是企业违法和政府监管缺失。新华社记者调查发现，常熟服装城周边有大量服装业黑作坊，这些黑作坊多存在非法雇佣童工现象。尽管,我国法律有明确规定，用人单位不得非法招用未满十六周岁的未成年人，违者将处以吊销营业执照等处罚。但是，这些黑作坊大多相对隐蔽且无证无照，政府对其管理上存在真空，不仅难以清查，更难以处罚。

监管盲点的存在和违法行为的发生，深层次的原因是发展中的矛盾没能得到有效化解。大量黑作坊雇佣童工的背后是一对矛盾：一方面，类似常熟这样的劳动力密集型产业存在降低用工成本的迫切需要;另一方面，西部贫困地区的部分未成年人，因为各种原因辍学后，希望通过打工离开农村，同时赚取报酬补贴家用。两方面需求的错配，形成了非法雇佣童工的黑色利益链条。各地如果不重视化解这对矛盾，不严厉打击这类利益链，就难以有效遏制非法童工现象。

目前，让童工离开黑作坊,把他们送回原籍，与其说是解救，不如说是解围。如果相关的反思和处置仅限于事件本身，那么事件带来的结果可能只是让这些孩子暂时免于从事与年龄不相称的劳动，而不能彻底把他们从贫困的家庭和凋敝的家乡解脱出来。

家庭贫困、乡村凋敝是迫使他们离开家的原因，再往深层去追溯，背后其实是区域之间发展不平衡的问题、西部乡村留守儿童问题、制造业成本上升问题、地方执法不严违法不究的问题等。这一个个积弊已久、牵涉复杂的问题，归纳起来可以说是发展中的问题，童工现象只是社会发展不均衡的表征。

再穷不能穷教育，再苦不能苦孩子——这句政策口号，许多人耳熟能详。儿童是国家和民族的未来，童工现象这类社会转型发展时期的“次生灾害”，不应祸及这些未成年的孩子。中央明确要求，要始终把儿童发展放在优先位置，各级政府在公共政策制定实施过程中，要优先考虑儿童利益和需求。那么，各地相关部门是不是应该以此次事件为警示，在加快地方经济发展、推进精准扶贫的同时，努力补上那些儿童权益保障漏洞?

然而，报纸上一篇有关环境污染的统计，彻底否决了我的想法，我才发现，我错得很离谱。

我的书本堆满书桌，只用过一次的白纸塞满纸篓，我从没想过，它们其实就是被砍伐的某棵树的一部分。

本来可以骑车的我坐在小汽车上，汽车车尾排出白烟，我从没想过，排放出的有害气体，其实就会成为污染蓝天的一部分。

吃完烧烤，随手把竹签扔在地上，我从没想过，看起来细细的竹签，竟然也会成为污染环境的垃圾。

我总是认为环境污染是那些大工厂之类的巨大工程造成的，却从未想过，自己平时的行为，也是对环境的一种破坏，虽然是一些微小的行为，但是，一次又一次的破坏、一个人又一个人的破坏累计起来，就是对环境的一个巨大创伤。

环境的污染竟与我相关，这出乎我的意料，却又在情理之中。积少成多，聚沙成塔。一个人的力量很小，但是许多人的力量加起来，就是一股很大的力量，我想，保护环境也是如此，环境污染与我们息息相关，所以，我要做的，不应该是一味的埋怨，而是，从自身做起，爱惜环境。

地球妈妈是什么？地球妈妈是一部洒满热血与热泪的历史长卷，地球妈妈是生命的摇篮，是哺育着无数代子孙的母亲，地球妈妈是一道美丽的风景，地球妈妈是一支绵延无尽的歌……原来的她，美丽而纯洁，被小辈们装饰得漂漂亮亮。而现在呢？现在的地球妈妈被那些不顾后果地污染环境的人们弄得危在旦夕。地球是我们人类赖以生存的家园，它无私地为我们提供着生存资源和条件。我们应该要爱护地球，珍惜地球，而那些污染环境的人呢？有的在各个地方摆摊而等到晚上就收摊走人。但是他们却没有看到在他们周围到处都是他们丢弃的垃圾，等到再过几天，那些垃圾在地上发臭，苍蝇、蚊子都飞来飞去，让过路的行人都得捂着鼻子，快步走过去。有的在一个干净的小花园里扔垃圾，渐渐的有许多人往那里扔垃圾，那里就成了一个垃圾堆了。原来，那里绿树荫荫，花儿和小草茂盛地开着。蜜蜂和蝴蝶都在那里安了家，那里到处散发着迷人的气息，犹如一副美丽的画卷。可是现在，那里寸草不生，臭气熏天，连人都不愿意在那里多待一会儿……为了保护我们美丽家园的环境，向你们提出以下几点建议：

1、提倡人们不乱扔垃圾，应把垃圾扔到指定分类的垃圾箱里。并加强宣传分类垃圾箱的可回收范围内的物品和不可回收范围内的物品。

2、教育广大市民要节约资源，并大力宣传一些节约资源的小窍门。

3、强化监督管理，要让人们做到尊重自然，爱护树木，爱护动物，爱护大自然的一切。如果发现身边有破坏环境的人，应及时教育和积极提醒。

4、提倡人们多点使用耐用品，绿色消费。尽量不要使用一次性用品。

21世纪的今天，人类的科学经济发展已经达到了很高的水平。然而我想问：你们有没有意识到人类的活动对环境会造成怎样的影响呢？

森林的乱砍滥伐不就是一个严峻的问题吗？据调查全世界森林面积正以每年上千万公顷的速度在消失。造成大量的水土流失，使许多地区成为沙漠。人类的活动范围在不断减少，这不可怕吗？

人类除了破坏森林之外，难道就没有什么破坏环境的问题了吗？不是这样的。现在我们应该看到水污染的严重性，目前世界上60%的地区面临供水不足，已有20%的人口难以得到清洁水，51%的人无法得到卫生用水。这是什么造成的呢？是我们人类自己造成的，现在的工厂及我们生活中的污水，没有通过处理就排出去。这不是最好的证明吗？据研究，每排放１立方米污水，就污染１４立方米天然水。想一想，这是多么可怕的数字？

在工厂排出的浓烟里，我们不知道浓烟是污染大气的吗？科学家发现，至少有100种大气污染物对环境产生极大危害，直接影响人们的健康。
