12月25日 是西方国家的节日---圣诞节，它如同我们的春节----春节一样隆重。

圣诞节?其实我对这个节日的态度是不冷不热的，我所在的学校也不赞成中学生举行这类外来节日，因此我接触得少，圣诞树和圣诞老人只在电视和商场里见过，印象之中也只有那寥寥无几的圣诞卡里的几句祝福语。

说圣诞贺卡，还不如的想起那件惭愧的事。那是前一年的12月，也是临近圣诞节，我收到了人生中第一张圣诞贺卡，但我并非因此而高兴那时我班许多同学都买了一张张花花绿绿的圣诞卡，有折叠的，有硬纸板的，有会放音乐的，甚至有亲手做的!五花八门，让人明显地感觉到一股送圣诞贺卡的狂流。

勇，是我曾经一个关系很好的朋友，就在那一天，他颇有意味地望着无动于衷的我，为什么不加入这潮流里去，我已不记得当初是如何回答他的了，只记得大意为我不参加这类节日、没有收过这些贺卡。而勇误会了我的意思，第二天，我就收到了人生中第一封圣诞贺卡，它是勇送的，原本是一件很惊喜的事，我却发火了，因为这居然是“幼稚”的“熊出没”的外表装饰!

Of all teachers who have taught me since my early childhood, the most unforgettable one is my first English teacher in college, Ms. Zhang. It is she who has aroused my keen interest in the learning of English and helped me realize the importance of self-reliance.
