I was at the shopping mall and I spent a lot of time reading the Fathers Day cards. They all had a special message that in some way or another reflected how I feel about you. Yet as I selected and read, and selected and read again, it occurred to me that not a single card said what I really want to say to you.

我和爸爸走进了一家小商店，说好了分头采购。我想我家的圣诞树上该挂些小挂件，于是就买了一大包装饰物。有红绿相间的拐棍，有金光灿灿的小鼓，还有五颜六色的圣诞袜。爸爸选了两张大号的圣诞老人窗花。到了家里，一家人不约而同的忙活起来。挂装饰物的时候，爸爸忽然从包里拿出一个带曲别针的小鹿。“怎么办呢”，爸爸愁眉苦脸的说。“把曲别针扎在软东西上就行了”，爸爸拍拍脑袋恍然大悟的说：“怎么让你这家伙想到了呢”，“我聪明呗”，我不禁自豪地回答。然后，我们去贴窗花。我扶着，爸爸和妈妈贴。一家人忙得不亦乐乎。

厨房里一阵叮叮当当悦耳的声音过后，圣诞晚餐正式开始了。今天的饭菜可真丰富。有可口的豆腐，美味的香肠，有碧绿的油菜，酸酸甜甜的西红柿，还有令人垂涎欲滴的火鸡腿。圣诞树闪烁着七彩的灯光，圣诞老人玩偶唱着动人的乐曲，烛光下我们一家人吃得可开心了。

吃罢晚饭，爸爸提议举行一个家庭智力竞赛。每人从准备好的盘子里拿出一个小纸团，打开后有题目的就答出来。我打开纸条一看：原来是用英文写出绵羊的单词。我毫不犹豫的在纸条上写上了sheep，并把它交给爸爸，爸爸看后宣布答对了。后面连着几道题大多都是我胜出，当爸爸庄严地宣布今晚的冠军是我时，我不禁兴奋的欢呼雀跃起来。

现在我家里已经是笑语声声了，五彩缤纷的圣诞树闪耀着奇异的光芒，憨态可掬的圣诞老人在音乐声中扭动着屁股，这个圣诞节我过的真愉快。
