Generally, war is repugnant, but peace is welcome.While peace is the ultimate goal of all of our undertaking in this world, war has been inevitable in the course of human civilization. Consequently, education and religion working side by side can transform a barbarian into a civilized person. With wisdom and love, the human race as a whole will detest war and embrace peace.

冉阿让内心善与恶的斗争，似乎失去珂赛特关爱的挣扎，以及告诉马吕斯自己真实身份的矛盾迷惘，小伽弗洛什纯真儿童内心世界，还有外祖父吉诺曼对马吕斯的拳拳爱心与他倔强性格的冲突等等。雨果都使用了大量的笔墨去渲染、勾勒。了解人物的心灵世界，确是一件让好奇心得到满足又使人生悲的事情。雨果将其淋漓尽致地展现在读者面前，文笔细腻激扬，理解和同情的心情油然而升。

文章还有一个特点，便是在情节展开中穿插许多冗长的介绍和议论。譬如，为了介绍马吕斯的父亲如何在战场上被泰纳迪埃解救，作者之前详细叙述了滑铁卢战役的经过;还曾煞费苦心写了一篇有关俚语的论文等等。这些固然不乏真实性，也显示了作者的知识之广与才气之盛，但上百页的篇幅的确影响到了情节的发展。

在情感方面，雨果自己说：“只要因法律和习俗所造成的社会惩罚依然存在，只要本世纪的三大问题还得不到解决，只要在这个世界上，社会毒害的现象依然存在，那么，和本书同一性质的作品就不会是无益的。”

总而言之，《悲惨世界》是人类苦难熔炼的绚烂史诗。

4月23日就是我们这些爱读书的人的节日——世界读书日。

我们热爱和平，不喜欢战争。但在这个世界上，经常有战争的爆发。就在过去的20世纪世界发生了大大小小的战争400多次。而在两次大世界大战中人类付出了惨重的代价。

中国从1840年英国殖民者用片和大炮轰开了中国的大门，强盗般的闯进中国这片富饶而神圣的土地，烧杀抢掠无恶不作。当时昏晕无能的清政府卑躬屈膝，通过三个不平等的条约，割让了香港，中国的领土和主权受到践踏。香港陷入英国殖民统制中。从这时起中国便成了半殖民半封建的社会，从此以后中国又遭受"9。18"事件七七卢沟桥事件和南京大屠杀等一系列的战争。305死难同胞的呼告声。时时为我们敲响警钟。

21世纪的今天，我们更加热爱和平。往事不堪回首，但我们必须回顾历史，记住历史，想想香港为什么会有如此命运。历史会告诉我们落后就要挨打！清政府闭关锁国，导致中国经济萧条，文化落后。当英国人拿着洋枪大炮进入时，清政府还怎能经的住这样的轰打！

记得我们在讲课的时候，老师放映了一些战争残忍有可怕的图片。其中有一张让人十分恐惧的图片：只见那人脸上全是血，是那么的血腥，真是惨不忍睹。我沉默了，还有多少无辜的人在可怕的战争中失去了宝贵的生命。自从看到那张照片，我更多的还是愤怒，愤怒那可怕的战争，愤恨挑起战争的人，难道他们没有亲人吗？如果那些死去的人就是他们自己的亲人，他们会又有何感想？这一切的一切，都是战争造成的。

战争，可怕、残酷的战争啊！战争的硝烟吞食这我们的幸福，而和平，是世界上最美好的花朵。和平是什么？和平是友谊的“桥梁”，架起国与国之间的友爱之桥；和平是世界的“瑰宝”，在每个人心中留下了美好。

在和平的世界里，花朵争芳斗艳，草坪碧草如茵，再没人去践踏；树木参天挺拔，再没人去砍伐；小溪清澈见底，永远不会变污浊。

啊！和平的天空和平鸽自由飞翔。它无时不提醒人们：“热爱生活，珍惜和平！”同学们，让我们一起呼吁和平，现在的和平，永久的和平。愿和平二字永远印在每个人的心中，让和平鸽永远伴我们飞翔！
