今年大年初一，一位记者到被称为“180”的小点号采访，那里住着小赵和小张两个士兵。小赵是一位来自江苏的已有3年兵龄的老兵，他说，他每天要去巡线一趟，每趟来回走20公里，当兵三年，相当于步行回老家一趟。新兵小张是四川中江黄继光家乡的人，他到点号的第二次巡线就遇上被称作“黑风”的沙暴，天地间黑压压一片，沙石劈头盖脸往身上砸，他说他抱紧铁轨整整一小时不敢动弹，差点没被埋在沙包里。说话间，小赵的姐姐从老家打来了电话，姐姐问：“你那里过年热闹吗?”小赵说：“热闹得很，有3个人呢，还有一条大黄狗”。“你那里冷吗?”，“不冷，暖和得很，才零下20度”。“你都3年没有回家了，爸妈以为你今年能回来过年，特意杀了猪，还几次到路口去守公交车。”这时，小赵的喉头滚了好几下，愣了半天，终于没能“幽默”出来。当记者告辞时，他俩紧紧地握住记者的手，久久不想松开，眼睛里突然溢出泪光，那眼神似乎在不加掩饰的恳求着：再留一会儿吧，哪怕是一分钟!

What do you want to be in the futureMaybe a teacher, a policeman or a detective…Everyone has their own opinion. I have read the top seven careers. Now I will introduce four of them for you.

The first one is the banker. Wealth is becoming one of the most important signs of a successful career. But ,in fact, not all the banks are about the money——like Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. Song Ge is this corporation’s banker. Song Ge tell us that a banker must have a good knowledge of banking, like how a bank works, how to run a bank and how to keep a good relationship with customers and workmates. The fourth one is the scientist. When we were young, most of us want to be a scientist. WhyIt’s really a great career. Scientists have a lot of knowledge and keep up-to-date on the latest knowledge, or the rest of the world will leave you behind. They should be good at math and science and is very important to learn English. They must be able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines… In fact, scientists are important to the world, they can make our life better and better.

What do I want to do when Im older ? Someone wants to be a doctor. Someone wants to be a basketball player because they are good at sport. Someone wants to be a writer and to make the writing. Someone wants to be a teacher because they like teaching children.

I like playing the piano and I good at it. So I want to become a piano player. Play the piano is very interesting. And you can learn something of music. Piano can make you like music. A lot of musician and singer are love playing piano.

I play the piano when Im ten years old. Now Im in grand five. I hope when Im sixteen years old , I can become grand eight. I’ll be harder and harder to practise.

Become a piano player is a hard job. But I believe I can do it.

I am studying at a middle school now, this is my second year, so I will be study in high school soon. I have many future plans, the first is studying hard, so I can enter a good high school, only study in such school, I can have more chances to get into a better college. My second plan is traveling a city this year. I like to travel, I go to visit a different city every year. Until now I’m not sure if I really have interest in teaching, although I, as a free normal student, am supposed to be a teacher in the future. Once I dreamed to be a businesswoman or an official, while it seemed that the choice, which I made out of having no way out one year ago, changed everything. In spite of that, I still believe a promising future is waiting for me. What I need to do is making a new plan for it and keeping the pursuit of it.

It’s clear that I have to teach as a volunteer in the country for two years after my graduation. Maybe I will get on with the children in the JingGangshan, the poorest area in Jiangxi for the years. Being knowledgeable and full of energy, surely I will make a difference there. Knowledge is strength, especially in the competitive society today. Therefore during those two years I decide to proceed my study as a postgraduate. Some years later, I may quit teaching unless I find I’m real interesting in teaching.
