除夕的那个晚上，我和表弟、姐姐一齐兴奋地跑到楼下，拿出早已准备完毕的烟花爆竹，开始放美丽的烟花。表弟点燃引线后，像小兔子似的逃开。“一、二、三!”我们一齐大声叫着，随即，烟花在天空中划出一道美丽的弧线，绽放出迷人的光芒，给新年的钟声又增添了一道美丽的风景线。“啊!多么绚丽的烟花呐!”我们齐声赞叹着，欣赏着这美丽的烟花!

Our motherland has a long history, there are many traditional festivals, and there are some distinctive folk customs. But my favorite traditional festival is the Spring Festival. The new years Eve has passed and the Spring Festival is coming, the new year begins.

The sacrifice to the ancestors, the most vital of all the rituals（仪式）, united the living members with those who had passed away. Departed relatives are remembered with great respect because they were responsible for laying the foundations for the fortune and glory of the family.?

The presence of the ancestors is acknowledged on New Year’s Eve with a dinner arranged for them at the family banquet table. The spirits of the ancestors, together with the living, celebrate the onset of the New Year as one great community. The communal feast called "surrounding the stove" or Weilu. It symbolizes family unity and honors the past and present generations.

不一会儿，妈妈开着车和我到了花市，花市里面的人，真多啊!在路的两边是各种各样的商店，店里面卖的都不一样，有的卖漂亮的花，有的卖年桔，有的卖风车，还有的卖金鱼。妈妈选了几种漂亮的花之后经过鱼店，我看见各种各样的鱼，可爱极了，我不由自主的呆在那里，妈妈看见我喜欢鱼儿就说，今年我就允许你养鱼，自己选几条吧!在妈妈的许可下，我终于可以养我的鱼儿了，这个年，我过的真开心。陪妈妈买花，我就买到了鱼。

回到家，我看到自己今天买回来的年货，开心极了。我迫不及待地拿着今天选回来的新衣服试了又试，妈妈说可好看了，我还戴上漂亮的帽子，满意地笑了。

过年可真开心啊!

从小到大的每个春节，我们家几乎都是在外婆家过的。今年为免才一岁多的妹妹旅途折腾，我们决定留在杭州过年。比起在乡下，在杭州过年相对冷清了许多。不过因为有了妹妹这个小天使，我们这个春节过得也是热热闹闹的。

妹妹在语言和认知方面显然比同齡小朋友发展快，一岁多点就能从1数到9，日常用语基本都会；不但会各种称呼，还能根据年龄大小叫，知道年轻的是阿姨，年级大的是奶奶，比自己大些的是姐姐，比自己小的是宝宝，真是小人精！不过由于年龄太小，她对很多事还都是懵懵懂懂的，经常鹦鹉学舌令人啼笑皆非。有一次，她刚睡醒，妈妈去给她穿衣服，妹妹朝妈妈叫“抱你，抱你！”妈妈一时没有反应过来说：“哦，抱我，抱我。”可是妹妹却粘近妈妈嚷：“抱你，抱你！去玩！”边说边想要下床。原来，她还没完全搞明白你和我的意思哈哈！我们经常逗她：“宝宝是聪明还是笨？”她立刻说：“宝宝笨。”我又问她：“宝宝是笨还是聪明？”她立刻又改口说“宝宝聪明”。她不知道聪明和笨的意思，想当然认为后面的那个才是答案！我们听了乐不可吱。吃饭的时候，碰到自己喜欢的菜，妹妹就只想着吃菜，妈妈和她讲道理，吃一口饭再吃一口菜。妹妹想了下点点头。妈妈趁她不注意，想多喂一口饭，谁知妹妹直摇头，用手指指菜。原来她心里清楚着呢，这么小居然都骗不过，妈妈只得老老实实给她夹菜。妹妹还很喜欢捉迷藏，老是叫“姐姐躲姐姐躲”，还跟着我看我躲在哪里。我教她捉迷藏不能偷看，应该屁股朝我。你猜结果怎么样？她真的屁股朝我，但是脸还是转过来认真地看我躲在哪里！唉，我被她打败了！诸如此类趣事很多，往往我们被妹妹逗得大笑的时候，妹妹不明所以也跟着啪手大笑，真是个可爱的小笨蛋！

妹妹这个淘气包为我们家带来了无限的乐趣，真是我们家的开心果。所以这个狗年春节，我们虽然没有回老家，但还是过了一个开开心心的年！

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now, although peoples life is much better, and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings, we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes. I like the Spring Festival very much. How wonderful the Spring Festival is!
