初五也叫“破五”，是送年的意思，传统的送年也要吃饺子，然后而且饺子里还要包上钱、枣、糖，每样包上6个。意思是：如果吃到带钱的饺子，这一年就会发财，如果吃到带枣的饺子，这一年就会好运早来；如果吃到带糖的饺子，这一年就会过的“甜甜蜜蜜”一家人就会和和睦睦。6是吉祥的数字。虽然这只是人们对新年的期望，但我们家还是继承了这种传统。

新年快到了，街上热闹非凡，喜庆洋洋，大街小巷都挂满了彩灯，在这个热闹非凡的时刻，令我兴奋的是，我可以到超市里选自己喜欢的零食，我选了我最爱吃的旺仔牛奶糖，棉花糖，喜之郎等，糖上面的包装也是喜庆喜庆的，红红的包装上面，还有可爱的卡通人物，有趣极了。我开心地和妈妈推着自己精心选来的零食。

不一会儿，妈妈开着车和我到了花市，花市里面的人，真多啊!在路的两边是各种各样的商店，店里面卖的都不一样，有的卖漂亮的花，有的卖年桔，有的卖风车，还有的卖金鱼。妈妈选了几种漂亮的花之后经过鱼店，我看见各种各样的鱼，可爱极了，我不由自主的呆在那里，妈妈看见我喜欢鱼儿就说，今年我就允许你养鱼，自己选几条吧!在妈妈的许可下，我终于可以养我的鱼儿了，这个年，我过的真开心。陪妈妈买花，我就买到了鱼。
