下午，天空一片青灰色，太阳似乎不耐烦起来，它褪去了酒后的微红，变得炽烈，刺得你无法睁眼看它。要是你坚持，那它就会毫不留情地让你泪流满面。它把全身的热量都散发出来，把大地晒得滚烫滚烫的。一阵风吹来，扑面而来的是滚滚的热浪，这的确让人觉得不怎么舒服。但千万不要因此而厌烦夏天，只要你留意，会发现许多意外的快乐。你听，一开始，蝉躲在浓密的枝叶间自鸣得意地“知——了，知——了”叫个不停。渐渐的，蝉儿的叫声变得低沉而缓慢，也许它也知道人们并不喜欢它自以为是的叫声，于是换了个腔调开始讲述一个古老的故事。一群老人不愿待在家里，于是聚集在树荫下，摇着手中的蒲扇，眯着眼随意地和人谈论着这炎热的天气和秋后作物的收成。此时，那些曾欢蹦乱跳的小鸟们，也懒懒地歇息在浓密的枝叶间，或侧耳倾听，或合眼午睡。

傍晚时分，太阳还恋恋不舍地挂在天边。夕阳照在河面上波光粼粼的，就像打碎了的镜面一样，时不时让你的眼前一亮。小河边开始热闹起来了。大人小孩三五成群地在小河里或游泳或玩水，略带暖意的河水把人们一天的疲劳和炎热洗得干干净净。小河里传来了阵阵快乐的笑声。

夜幕降临，人们会不约而同地信步走到水库的堤坝上，三五成群地谈古论今。这时，白天的热浪已经完全消失了。风儿拂过水面，带来的是丝丝的凉爽。明月当空的日子里，你会看到水库中月亮的倒影，就像大镜子上平放着一面小镜子。你拿一块小石子向水库中扔去，只见大小的镜子都应声而碎，出现在你眼前的是点点银光。小孩们会因此而欢呼雀跃，奔走相告。大人们则一边分享着来自孩子的童趣，一边与朋友们交流着生活的乐趣。这时多么和谐而快乐的一幕啊!

夏天带给我们的有炎热，但更多的却是快乐!我希望所有的人能像我一样喜欢这快乐而富有活力的夏天!
