And they will also treat the guest to a special kind of drink called Suyou Tea, which some people find hard to enjoy.

Besides, the habitants have developed both their own written and spoken languages, and the long poems they wrote play an important role in Chinese literature. And there are many well-protected culture relics as well, taking the grand Budala Palace as an example. It is a historical museum as well as an art treasury, where people can share their spirit belief in Buddhism and get artistic entertainment of the carved paintings and the beautifully-written chirographies.

The Tibetan ethnic group is also famous for its strange custom in funeral. Thinking that the soul belongs to the sky after a person dies, they usually put the body on a platform outdoors, spray on it and wait the condors to come to eat the body. In this way, they believe the soul goes up to the sky.

The Tibetan Minority is brimming over with deep emotions. The people there are very zealous and hospitable and they live freely and happily on the spacious grassland. Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Others may have trouble in writing. I also had problems in English learning, but my difficulty seemed to lie in listening. For example, when tested for listening comprehension, I couldnt understand a single sentence, let alone a passage of medium level.

阅读“皇帝的新衣`”，我不得不把一阵笑声在他的傻瓜。“卖火柴的小女孩”也`却令我痛苦。《鲁滨孙漂流记》把我带进了一个充满危险的陌生的世界。我也深深打动了海伦凯勒`的耐心和毅力……除此之外，本书还告诉我其它的东西——如何成为一个男人，如何分辨对与错。总之，好的书籍可以让我知道我并`之前。所以我认为一个好的书是我最好的朋友。

I`ll never forget this famous saying,“ Good books are best friends who never turn their backs upon us.”

我`永远不会忘记这句名言，“好书是最好的朋友，谁不背对我们。”

With the deepening of reform and opening-up of our country, many people dream of going abroad for further study. They insist that the modern research facilities, world famous professors and excellent environment in those foreign colleges can help lay a perfect foundation for their future development.

However, there are still many people who favor studying at home. They argue that studying abroad is too expensive and doesnt pay. They also point out that there are no language and cultural barriers if they study at home.

Both opinions are acceptable in some sense. If students have the chance and financial resources, they should seize the opportunity to study abroad and broaden their eyes. On the other hand, if conditions dont permit, they can pursue their studies in top universities at home. What counts is not the place where you study, but the desire to learn.

随着我国改革开放的加深，很多人梦想着出国深造。他们认为国外大学的先进研究设备，闻名世界的教授以及优越的环境能够帮助他们为未来的发展打下完美的基础。

然而，仍然有很多人赞成在国内学习。他们认为出国留学太贵了，付不起费用。他们还指出如果他们在国内学习就不会存在语言和文化障碍。

从某种意义上说着两种观点都可以接受。如果学生拥有机会和经济来源，他们应该抓住机会出国留学，开阔他们的视野。另一方面，如果条件不允许，他们可以在国内顶级大学追求学业。重要的不是你在哪个地方学习而是你学习的渴望。
