Important to save water

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. We use water to wash our face or to have a bath. We drink water or we will die…Water is also very important for China. There are 2.8 hundred millions of steres of water in China, but everyone can only use 2300 steres. It is only twenty–five per sent in the world.

Not too long ago, there was a man called Jacques Cousteau. He loved the beautiful colors, and the beautiful fish in the sea. However, when he returned some years later, the colorful coral reefs were dead and grey because the factory near the sea poured waste water into the sea. Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. It is our duty to protect the environment. You may ask yourself again, have I ever helped to clean up the water? If your answer is “Yes”, that means that you have already done something useful to improve the water. If we use up all the water, it is difficult for us to get it from anywhere, including the universe. It is terrible to think that people are too thirsty to live! Thanks to my parents, I have been to many places. I feel so lucky to

witness the scenery by my eyes. I love to travel since I was very small. I have

made up my mind that I must continue my journey on my own. As I grow up, I have

Travel helps me to be independent. For many people, they trend to travel by

groups, which is very convenient. The companies plan everything for them, and

It was a very busy evening. I was doing my homework at my home. My father was writing a composition in the study room. My mother was interested in Shanghai opera. In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as

air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the

extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer

becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that

My grandparents believed you were either honest or you werent. There was

they lived. They understood instinctively that integrity means having a personal

really are. People who lack genuine core values rely on external factors--their

looks or status---in order to feel good about themselves. Inevitably they will

do everything they can to preserve this facade,but they will do very little to

develop their inner value and personal growth.

So be yourself. Dont engage in a personal cover-up of areas that are

unpleasing in your life. When its tough, do it tough. In other words, face

reality and be adult in your responses to lifes challenges.

Self-respect and a clear conscience are powerful components of integrity

and are the basis for enriching your relationships with others.

Integrity means you do what you do because its right and not just

fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

the seductive sirens of an easy morality,will always win the day. My

grandparents taught me that.

I have a wonderful dream in my heart. Its to speak English very well.

Since English is everything for me. English is my best friend. English is my

soul. English is my power. Without English， Im nothing at all. Nothing. Now， I

can think in English， speak in English， and write in English. Some people think

Im an Indian. Some people regard Im a Pakistan. And some people even consider

English test that was a must for a student to get the degree. So some colleges

canceled the rules. But recently, The Chinese first class university announced

that swimming skill is necessary for degree. It has been the hot issue, then

many people give their opinions.

On the one hand, some people are favorable of this regulation, because

swimming skill is really important. Most of the accidents happened in the river.

The swimming skill can protect them from dying. What’s more, foreign schools

take the swimming class as the regular lesson. So almost every foreign kid can

swim, which is the basic skill.

On the other hand, some people argue that even the student can’t swim, they

can’t be denied by lacking the swimming skill. They need the degree to find a

job. They are equipped with many skills and are capable of a lot of things.

Their ability has nothing to do with swimming skill.

I think that school should open the class for students to learn swimming

skill. If they fail, they still can make up by learning other lesson. The degree

can be got by many ways.

It is well known that exercise is important. In our school, we have to do an hours exercise every day. Many students are very happy. In the one hour, some of us play basketball, football and ping pong, and some run around the playground. Everyone is talking and laughing. I love this activity very much. I get up at seven o’clock in the morning every day. After I brush my teeth
