从希腊文明起源至今，科学探索从未间断，科学发展的迅猛势头与日俱增。从中，我们看到了科学发展进程给人类带来了不可计数的产品。例如各类新式厨具、新式布料、显微镜等等，都在为人类富足的物质提供帮助，有了科学探索的精神，我们能够开发和研制更多的有利于人类生活的新工具，这是科学探索的一大功用。正因如此，在科学探索的过程中，无论何种领域，无论深入与否，科学家们都在为人类未来的生活做出了不可磨灭的贡献，或许当下的成效不明显，但它总是有益的。

列文虎克或许从未想过，他发明的显微镜对后人有如何巨大的影响。他只是本着求真务实的科学态度去研制，怀着虔诚敬畏的精神态度去追索。试想，没有了列文虎克的显微镜，许多领域的研究就无法开展，仅就医学而言，我们便无从得知病原体为何物，弗莱明更难以发现拯救万千生灵的盘尼西林。

人文情怀，自人类诞生，便一直传承至今，它极大地推动了社会与人际间的发展，直接或间接地改进着人们的生活。比我年幼一岁的吴华静因车祸而脑死亡，昨日她已捐献出了自己的器官，头戴护士帽，化淡妆，身穿护士服，脚穿护士鞋，安详满足地离开人世。我想，如果没有关怀他人，关爱社会的人文情怀，她便不会捐献出

自己的器官，此时，再高超的医疗技艺也不可拯救亟待器官的病患。这就是人文情怀的功用。巴格达八岁时， 在战火纷飞之时，他拿起手中的相机，拍摄一张张温暖人心的照片：夕阳下的树，小馆前喝咖啡的老人，等等。他用自己的方式，去鼓励身处水深火热中的巴格达人勇敢乐观地活下去。海伦凯勒，她完全可以一心埋头读书，研究科学，但她本着悲天悯人的人文情怀，她选择为世人熬制一锅心灵鸡汤。她写下多部著作，为美国盲人基金会筹募基金，为各类慈善事业献出自己的力量。

她在用自己或许微薄的力量，尝试着去温暖他人，去感染更多的人去做这样的事。因而，人文情怀带给了我们精神满足。

我们离不开人文情怀，也离不开科学探索。南丁格尔的事迹众人皆知：她开创护士学校，并带领护士将战场的死亡率由42%降低到2%!没有心系国家，心忧百姓的人文情怀，她不会做出这般举措。取而代之，她会尽情享受父亲提供的优厚的物质生活，终生活在上流社会的“幸福”中。没有科学探索，她不可能把救死扶伤做到如此极致。

空有一腔爱国心，却没有任何的实际工作，只是站在战场上大喊“我要降低死亡率!”有何作用?没有!因然，我们说，我们呼唤人文情怀，也追求科学探索。

科学是人文创建的载体，人文为科学充实意义，它们共同构建起幸福生活的大厦。科学探索使人更好地把握外在世界，给人们提供物质准备，人文情怀使人更好地把握内在宇宙，给人们带来精神满足。科学与人文，密不可分，互相促进，共同完善人类的身心，从而获得更美好的幸福生活。
