有一次，我去看大熊猫，四只大熊猫待在一起似乎在商量着什么，接着，其中一只来到饲养员身边撒娇，饲养员觉得很好玩，就专心与它玩了起来，谁知，另外几只大熊猫趁饲养员不注意先后从小门溜了出去，等饲养员转过身来才发现，并把它们找了回来。看他们的表情就像做错事的孩子。呵呵，他们真是又顽皮、又可爱的大熊猫。

2008年12月23日上午8点20分，赠台大熊猫“团团”“圆圆”坐着大卡车，在家乡人依依不舍的目光和深情的祝福中，由武警战士护送，从雅安碧峰峡基地启程向成都双流国际机场进发。台湾人民期盼已久的“团团”“圆圆”，终于踏上了赴宝岛台湾之旅。

“团团”“圆圆”的故乡是我国四川盆地西北方向的雅安市大熊猫基地，目前那里有22只大熊猫。大熊猫是世界上最为珍贵的动物之一，主要分布于我国四川、甘肃、陕西省的个别崇山峻岭地区，数量十分稀少，属于国家一级保护动物，称为“国宝”。它不但被世界野生动物协会选为会标，而且还常常担负“和平大使”的任务，带着中国人民的友谊，远涉重洋，到国外攀亲结友，深受各国人民的欢迎。至今全世界大熊猫总数都不够1000只，且数量一直不断减少。

大熊猫体胖身软，头圆颈粗，耳小尾短，四肢粗壮，身长约1.5米，肩宽厘米左右，体重可达千克。特别是那一对八字形黑眼圈犹如戴着一副墨镜，非常惹人喜爱。

大熊猫的祖先是食肉动物，现在却偏爱吃素，主要以吃箭竹为生。一只成年的熊猫每天要吃20千克左右的鲜竹。有时，它也会开一次“荤”，捕抓箭竹林里的竹鼠美餐一顿，甚至大摇大摆闯入居民住宅，偷吃食物。大熊猫性情孤僻，喜欢独居，昼伏夜出，没有固定的居住地点，常常随着季节变化而搬家。春天一般待在海拔3000米以上的高山竹林里，夏天迁到竹枝鲜嫩的阴凉的山坡处，秋天搬到2500米左右的温暖的向阳山坡上，准备度过漫长的冬天。

每年的四五月份是大熊猫的繁殖季节，雄、雌大熊猫难得同居在一起。但五月一过，便又各奔东西。雌性大熊猫怀孕4~5月左右，就急着寻找树洞或石穴作为“产房”，它每胎产1~2仔。刚生下的幼仔重量只有150克左右，相当于妈妈体重的千分之一。两年后，小熊猫才离开母亲，开始独立的生活。大熊猫的寿命平均为年。
