The thermometer had dropped to 18 degrees below zero, but still chose to sleep in the porch as usual. In the evening, the most familiar sight to me would be stars in the sky. 比起这些，我倒是更喜欢铺满池塘的荷叶。满地翠绿的荷叶让人看了心旷神怡。在这一片片绿色中，点缀着少许粉红色，到底是什么呢？走近看看，原来是那清丽、秀美的荷花。自然界中美丽的花可多了，但我偏偏喜欢这不和玫瑰、牡丹争奇斗艳的荷花。“出淤泥而不染，濯清莲而不妖”，这是古人对荷花的评价。是啊，荷花那独有的，不与世俗同流合污的气质令我着迷。

繁华的市井中，也有自己独特的一面。小孩们吃着雪糕，坐在凉爽的空调里，脸上洋溢着甜蜜和满足。小姑娘身穿美丽的花裙子，转几个圈儿，裙摆展开来，活像一只翩然起舞的蝴蝶。

夏天是孩子最高兴的季节。孩子们甩开学习的压力，在两个月的暑假中尽情玩耍，有的和小伙伴一起玩，还有的和旅行团一起出去玩。对于夏季炎热的天气，孩子们选择了泳池。他们在泳池里欢乐地嬉戏着，用最美的姿态在水中畅游，不时传来一阵阵笑声。

热情奔放的夏季啊！你不像春天那么无声无息；你不像秋天那样激动人心；你不像冬天那样内向，羞涩，你是最令人着迷的季节，我永远喜欢你——夏天。
