那是一个阳光明媚的星期天,爸爸为了锻炼我的身体,带我到部队去翻越那里的障碍墙。我的个头在班里就不算太高,面对这一堵高高的墙不免有些恐惧,心里不停地想: “如果翻不过去这墙,那些解放军叔叔一定会笑话我的。”爸爸似乎看出了我的心思,在那墙的前面放了两块砖,用一块黑布盖住,对我说: 孩子,你跳的时候就踩这几块砖吧!”“嘻嘻,爸爸对我真好!”我心里不禁暗暗自喜。

那些叔叔都翻越过去了,不愧为中国的保卫者。该我跳了,爸爸用鼓励的眼光看着我,但我的心里还是打起了小鼓。我忐忑不安地走到离障碍墙稍远的那条白线上,心里默默重复着爸爸给我说的要领。我深深的吸了一口气,屏住了呼吸,然后像箭一样冲了出去,到了那两块砖的地方我双脚一跳,纵身一跃,可就当我转身的时候,眼看着就要翻过去了,我的屁股碰住了墙头,一下子摔倒在了棉垫上。这样重复了几次，结果均告失败，这时我对自己能否翻过障碍墙已经不抱任何希望了。眼前这座墙仿佛变成了一座高山，让我无法翻越。我心里很不是滋味，心想：“这可怎么办呢?别人一定会嘲笑我的。”当我想起旁边个别人那种蔑视和讥讽的眼神，不由得流下了眼泪，整个人都被自卑感所包围。

这时爸爸走过来，用一种激励的口吻对我说：“孩子不要放弃，我看你离成功只差一点点，要注意在跨越时的提臀动作。爸爸再给你垫一块砖，相信你一定能成功!”爸爸的这句话让我重新振作了起来，我重新站了起来，开始助跑、踩砖、跳跃、搭臂。并特别注意了在搭臂的同时奋力提臀，这次我把吃奶的劲都使了出来，当我成功地翻过障碍墙躺在绵软的垫子上时，感觉似乎天格外的蓝，云特别的白，空气也变鲜了许多。那时候别提有多高兴了。正当我沉浸在胜利的喜悦之中时，爸爸牵着我的手把我带到障碍墙前，他掀起盖砖的那块布，我不由得惊呆了，爸爸并没有加砖，还是原来的两块砖!爸爸语重心长的对我说：“孩子，其实并不是你没有能力翻越那堵墙，而是让自卑的心理占据了你心灵的空间，你只是想着自己不行，而不像一句广告词说的那种‘我能’!我其实并没有给你加砖,只是给了你一句话，这句话让你自信的火苗立刻燃烧了起来，是自信战胜了自卑。在以后的人生道路上，你可要靠自己的努力来战胜自卑呀!”爸爸这番富有哲理的话，似乎让我懂得了很多很多……

自信的力量是无穷的，当生活中遇到困难时，首先要自信，不能气馁、不能自卑，因为自信有着一种神奇的力量。因为自信，所以成功。

永远忘不了那个舞台—“超级演说家”，忘不了每个人满脸的微笑，忘不了每个人举手投足间的自然，忘不了每个人酣畅淋漓的语言表达。尤其是那份自信！

记得那天语文课，徐老师告诉我们，这节课要交流暑假生活。全班同学一齐欢呼，兴奋地摆好记录本，端端正正地坐着，期盼着同学们的精彩表现。

当快要下课的时候，徐老师突然叫到我的名字：“朱韵翰，该你演讲了！”

我条件反射地一惊，双手又不听使唤地颤抖着，心里七上八下的。周文迪、张芮涵PPT做得那么精致，杜政熹、刘芷玥的交流得到全班同学的一致好评，我能跟他们比吗？

想到这里，我索性不上去了。可我只躲得过一时，躲不了一世，还是被同学“轰”了上去。

我不知从何处讲起，是那五十双激励的眼神给了我勇敢讲下去的勇气，终于像挤牛奶一样挤出一句话：“大家好……接下来我……为大家交流我的暑假生活。”天哪！我快疯了！我又想起了刘芷玥精彩的演讲，张芮涵精美的PPT，然而这一次，我不再退缩，我在心里不断暗示自己：“我能行的，我也能出色的完成演讲。”我越讲越自信，越讲越大声，最后干脆和同学们互动起来，效果出乎意料的好，我的交流得到了许多同学的肯定，都给了我两颗大粘贴。

恍然间，我无比自信地站上了那个梦想中的舞台—“超级演说家”。耳旁响起了雷鸣般的掌声……

同学们一定都读过《绿野仙踪》这本书，我总是百读不厌。

这本书讲的是小姑娘多萝西的故事：多萝西生长在美国的肯萨斯州。一天，她被龙卷风卷到了一个叫孟金奇的地方，那里的好女巫指点她去找奥芝国大术士帮忙送她回家。路上，多萝西从稻草杆上解救了人们用于驱赶鸟儿的稻草人，在森林里解救了铁皮樵夫，又遇到了胆小的大狮子。稻草人想要一副脑子，铁皮樵夫想要一颗心，小胆狮想要获得胆量。他们结伴同行，历经艰险。最后，在奥芝术士的帮助下，稻草人得到了脑子，成为了翡翠城的统治者，铁皮樵夫得到了心，成为了温基邦的统治者，而小胆狮获得了胆量，成为了森林之王，多萝西也回到了家乡。

实际上，奥芝术士并没有什么法术，他并没有给稻草人脑子，也没有给铁皮樵夫心，同样没有给小胆狮胆量。之所以稻草人变得聪明了，铁皮樵夫变得自豪了，小胆狮变得勇敢了，这都是因为他们有了自信的缘故。

我曾经读过这样一个故事：

有一名杂技团的演员，凭借一出惊险的高空走钢丝而声名远扬。每次走钢丝的时候，他手持一根长木杆，赤脚稳当地走过细细的钢丝。他技艺高超，身手灵活，甚至可以在钢丝上腾跃翻转。多年来，从未有过任何闪失。

一次外出演出，那根长木杆不慎被折断了，团里又赶做了一根一模一样的长木杆。但这一次演出，当他赤脚踏上钢丝时，心里一惊，一下子对木杆产生了怀疑，他第一次没有了自信。终于，一个不留神摔了下来。实际上，那根木杆并没有变化。

很多时候，我们的自信都会受到自我感觉的的影响，感觉变了，自信没了，左右了我们的成败。

爱默生说过：自信是成功的第一秘诀。

《绿野仙踪》这本书，让我知道了自信的力量。我们只要有自信，就可以克服困难，获得成功。

On Confidence

As we all know, “Failure is the mother of success.” But I just want to say“Success is the baby of confidence.”

First of all, confidence makes us happier in our life. Life is like a wonderful song, a bright and colorful painting. If confidence is with us in our life, we will find that life really becomes richer and more interesting.

Then, confidence makes us brave and courageous. If we lack confidence in ourselves, how can we overcome difficulties we meet with? If we have no confideuce in ourselves, how can we succeed in developing ourselves in the future?Without confidence, nothing can be accomplished. That is to say, if you want to win, you have to believe in yourself.

How to build up self-confidence

Self- confidence plays an important role in our life. We can do nothing well without self-confidence. There are, I think, three steps to build up our self=confidence. First we should believe ourselves. This is the basic part of building self-confidence. Then we should start from the easy things. It will greatly encourage us if we do these things well. At last we should make progress step by step by dealing with problems which are much harder to be done well.

First step:Believe you yourself. Saying is much easier than doing. But we have no choice. We must believe ourselves. If we don’t think we can deal with something well, then we are determined to fail before we setting up to do it. We should tell us that even we can’t doit very well, but at least we can make some changes. The most important part is to remind ourselves that we can make some differences.

To encourage ourselves, wo must start from the easy things. Rome was not built in a day. For x example, I was not good at English grammar when in high school, I was upset when I made many mistakes in the exams. Then my English teacher told me to do from the easies part. And he gave me some very easy exercise to practice. I found it enjoyable when I was doing the exercise. Day after day, I was not afraid of doing English grammar exercise. And my self-confidence was built by starting from the easy part. So remember that we should choose the simple and ordinary things.

Third we should go father after finishing the simple and easy part. When we find that we can handle most problems easily, we should know it is a sign of moving forward. For example, if you can run 3 miles in an hour easily, then you should try to run 4 mile in an hour, and then 5 miles. Just keep moving . The better you do, the more confident you will be.Then one day you will find you have surpassed most people around you. And at this time you will find that your self-confidence is built up already.

As it has come to be known,theres an increasing number of family in China that has an only one child since the inception of the family planning policy.Its no doubt that children enjoy more love and care than before。However, more attention should bepay to the phnomeno that some of them get used to depending on their parents which cause the lack of independence.

To educate them to be independent,some effective metnods are adviced for their parents.Foremost,parents should help the child establish an independent consciousness from childhood.By telling stores or playing games,parents can affect the development of their character indrectly.Childhood education is of great significance to the formation of independence.In addition,as a famous going says,Knowledge comes from practice.Only by offering more chance for children to face the world individually can they broaden their horizon and learn to find the right position in the society.Last but not least,parents should provide some advice and assistance when their children are in some trouble that they can not conquer by themselves.

Personally speaking,its parents that playing an essential role in childrens growth. I strongly believe that parent should help their children be independent by instructing them in a proper way rather than planning and considering everything for them.
