Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. 一天早晨，我到外公家去，在路上我看见一位小朋友，他在和一些小朋友扔垃圾。我看见了非常心疼，对他们说：“你们怎么可以扔垃圾在路旁，你们忍心让这么漂亮的环境变成一个脏兮兮的地方吗？”小朋友异口同声地回答说：“我们为什么要听你的，你算老几呀！”我说：“你看看，别人都把垃圾扔到垃圾桶里，而你却把这么漂亮的环境破坏了，你们说，是我说的对，还是你们做的对。”他们有一点脸红。他们其中的一个小朋友说：“我们错了，我们会用实际行动来证明我们的承诺的。”我听了，就往外公家去，不知道他们会不会实现承诺。

第二天早晨，我一出来，看见路旁非常干净，一个垃圾都没有，我一想肯定是他们兑现承诺了，而且还把路旁打扫得干干净净，真是让我太高兴了，他们可真是又听话又乖。
