The summer holiday is coming. Im going to have a good rest and learn to relax myself. I will read more useful books because reading more books is not only interesting but also can make me learn more knowledge. I will try to spend more time in chatting with my parents and help them to do some housework. I am going to take part in the social activities so that I can know more about the society. This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

Everyone has his own dream. I want to be a good doctor in the future. The reason is that some doctors saved my life after I was badly hurt in a traffic accident. The squirrels too gather by the edge of the Lake. The birds float effortlessly, circling the Lake in a beautiful ballet. The gators stand in awe. Yes, the gators! The leaves on the trees would suddenly stop their slow dance. Just like me, they are patiently awaiting for the grand entrance of the sun. The moon must go. Yes, the moon must go... to make room for the sun to rise. The sound of the gentle breeze is soothing, almost musical. I am filled with joy. I cannot describe the feeling of this awesomeness. Youd have to experience it to understand the feeling and joy of it. I know I am about to witness an amazing grace. So... I am silent. My spirit is at peace. The stage has been set. Behind those clouds, the sun awaits... waiting for the heavenly command. The ritual is in full bloom. Then I see a slice of sunlight, wafting through the clouds. Suddenly, the entire horizon is brightened, and the sun finally takes the center stage. Right there, I am still... humbled... to listen to God speak into my soul. When Hes done, then, I share with Him all that my heart desires.

How to adapt youself to college life

There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.

However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Moreover he should take active part in collective activities and make more communication with classmates and teachers. It will help he be smoothly integrated with your new environment. Besides,as to study,he should develop a good habit of self-teaching and learn to arrange study independently. Of course,it may take a freshman some while to become accustomed to the study and life in college. However, we all have to accept constant challenges of new things in our life. To conclude,college students should try to adapt himself to college life as soon as possible, so as to take full advantages of their precious college time.

产生这个想法源于一次春晚，当我看到春晚主持人走上台，说出一串串流利的话语时，我的心微微一颤：在观众们观看节目时，令他们感到精彩的部分，也许不仅是表演的节目，还有主持人热情洋溢的声音和甜美的笑容。我心想，要是我也能成为这样一个能够感染、打动观众的人该多好啊。

于是，从那时起，我开始喜欢上主持，喜欢上朗读，喜欢将自己的感情融入朗读中，表达给别人。声情并茂的朗读使我受到老师与同学的认可，当上了班里的领读，锻炼出自信，面对众人不胆怯、不紧张的心理素质。到后来，我开始尝试主持一些班里或学校的活动，从最开始的小紧张到从容不迫。就这样，一次，又一次。

为了当好主持人，当我看一些节目时，注意的不仅仅是节目本身，还注意着台上的主持人，注意他们的姿势，注意他们的语气。诙谐幽默的主持人使节目更加精彩，更加丰富。正因为如此，观众亲切地称呼他们为“荧屏天使”。尽管我对主持很感兴趣，但是不能因此耽误我的学习。

在这个阶段，学习最为重要，没有知识就不能很好地去实现你的理想。除了要努力学习，当主持人还需要一个良好的心理素质及一个好记性。因为你需要面对许多观众，毫不紧张地背出台词。背错一个字就有可能给整个节目带来影响，所以需要一遍遍背词，一遍遍彩排，尽管非常辛苦，但是，当你站在台上，看到观众赞赏的目光，听到他们热烈的掌声就会觉得，你所做的一切都值得。

为了我的理想，我会努力，会奋斗，会勇往直前，因为它是我人生的目标，生活的动力!不管遇到什么困难，我总会在心里对自己说：“为了你的理想，一定要挺过去。”
