爱狗无错，但爱要合法。保护动物不能逾越法治的边界，不得侵犯他人的合法权益和自由。在历经多次民间“救狗”事件后，这一点正逐渐成为全社会共识。如果自认为在“动物保护”的正义光环之下，可以肆意对别人实施语言以及行为暴力，凌驾于法律之上，那这种以暴制暴的所谓“动物保护”，毋宁说是一种发泄的借口。更进一步讲，如此绝对地捍卫自身“伴侣动物”的价值观、理念，与其说是关心动物，不如说是关心他们自己。
