不一会儿，我就把这本收看了完了。这本书太有意思了，太神奇了。文中的小女孩有一种与生俱有的本领，在怒不可遏时，她的手指就会施出魔法来。她的邻居革利鸽夫妇一家爱好打猎。有一次，当小女孩看到她们又去打野鸭子时，她生气了，她怒不可遏，她的手指又施出魔法了，把革利鸽夫妇一家变成会飞的野鸭子，把野鸭子变成了人。这样，革利鸽夫妇一家就只有到树上搭窝、睡觉，饿了就吃树上的苹果，而野鸭子却占有了他们的家。野鸭子拿着枪要打革利鸽夫妇一家，革利鸽夫妇一家吓坏了，当野鸭子准备开枪时，革利鸽夫妇一家说：“我们以后再也不打猎了。”之后，魔法消失了，革利鸽夫妇一家又变回了人样，从此以后，他们改名叫“爱鸽先生”、“爱鸽夫人”，再也不打猎了。这个故事真是太有趣了，这个魔法太有趣了，它可以让打猎者和被猎者彻底掉了个儿。达尔的奇思妙想让人坊起来真是忍俊不禁。

读了这个故事，我明白了：我们不能伤害动物，相反地，我们要很好地保护好对人类有益的动物，因为动物是人类的朋友。只有这样，我们的地球才会越来越可爱，我们的家园才会越来越美丽，我们才能生活得越来越幸福!

今天放学的时候，同学们正在教室里收拾书包，突然有一只小鸟飞进了教室。调皮王石亮看到了，便大声喊了起来：“大家快来看啊！有一只小鸟！”边说边跑过去把小鸟捉住了。大家都闻声而来，班长少文看到了，便对石亮说：“石亮，快把小鸟放了！别让小鸟难受。”石亮捉着小鸟，对少文说：“我为什么要听你的话，我捉住了就是我的，我要把它带回家饲养。”说着拿起书包就要往外走。刚好老师走进教室，石亮看到老师来了吓了一跳，赶紧把小鸟藏在身后。这时班长少文走到老师面前，向老师说明了情况后。老师走到石亮面前，说：“石亮，我们必须保护动物，如果人人都像你一样，看到了动物就捉起来，视为己有的话，那么世界上的动物，不就都没有了吗？”石亮听完老师的话后，惭愧极了，于是当众把小鸟放了，得到了老师的夸奖。从这件事中使我了解小学生还必须多认识保护小动物的知识。学校必须注重小学生对保护动物的认识，多教小学生一些关于保护动物的小知识。我相信只要这样做，不久人和动物一定能够和睦相处。

The quality of human life has improved greatly over the past few centuries, but Earth is being harmed more and more by human activity. As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet. Eventually, this will harm people as well.

Our planet gives us everything we need, but natural resources are not endless. Strip mining devastates whole regions, leaving bare and useless ground. Deforestation removes old growth trees that cant be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they cant recover. We are too careless in taking what we want without giving anything back.

There are more people than ever, living longer that ever. So is it any surprise that many areas suffer from too much development? Anyone living in or near a city has experienced "urban sprawl". There is a new shopping area on every corner and new houses, townhouses and apartments everywhere. Traffic gets worse and worse because planners cant keep up with growth. Keeping up with human demand is hard enough. Environmental concerns come in last.

With growth comes pollution. Companies and communities dump waste into water. Landfills are full of trash. Emissions from factories pollute the air. Barrels of industrial waste and worse, radioactive waste, have no safe place to go. If were not careful, we can harm our planet beyond repair.

People need to respect the Earth and try to preserve it. If we dont, what kind of future will we have?

动物有其生存的权利，就如同人类有人权一样。而现代的社会主张人人生而平等，那动物呢？只因为他们的智商不如人类，只因为无法清楚表达，我们就可以这样伤害他们，剥夺他们生存的权利吗？

在现在如此动荡不安的社会中，有其中的一小部分是因为人类没有尽到保护生态的责任而造成的。人们总是为了自己的利益，去牺牲了动物自由生存的权利。我们为了满足自己的欲望，去商店购买宠物，一旦自己厌倦了，便随意放生；我们为了研发更新的药物，捕捉无辜的动物来试验，而它们最后也都成了这些药物的祭品；我们为了获得更美观的衣物、配件，去滥捕动物以获取它们的皮毛；更有些人，为了拥有更好的物质生活，用尽了各种不道德的方法来训练动物，成立马戏团。我们所做的种种，都使它们离绝种之路梗接近了。人类为何就是如此的自私呢？

面对这些伤害动物的行为，我们更应该要更积极的负起保护生态的责任。一、不像店家购买宠物，你能用钱买到你想要、你喜欢的宠物，但你却买不到它对你的热情，如果想要养宠物，不妨到流浪动物之家领养，如此一来，一举两得。二、避免实行动物实验，减少一些无辜动物的死亡。三、拒绝购买动物皮草，避免产生不必要的伤害。四、不要让你的胃成为动物的坟场，少吃肉类，多吃蔬菜，以减少杀生。

虽然保护生态造成的议题只是社会中的一小部分，但我们若再置之不理，只会让它变得更严重。保护生态不单单只是保护人员的工作，更是我们所有生存在这美丽地球的人的义务与责任。地球若没了动物，就如同蓝天没了白云，不要让我们的子孙只能在博物馆里见到今天的动物。

This fish earned its name by utilizing evasion as a way to escape its predators. It bodily leaps from the ocean, reaching a speed of about 35 miles per hour and a recorded gliding time of up to thirty seconds. This can take them as far as 200 meters from their point of exit from the water, which may be far enough to escape pursuit or confuse predators. Fishermen favor these types of fish, but due to their sheer numbers in the wild, none of the 40 different species of flying fish are listed as endangered. While they can be found foraging seasonally along the outskirts of warm water reef complexes, flying fish are primarily pelagic, and favor tropical or subtropical open waters around the equator.

While some sources may find this counter-intuitive, given the ease with which the fish are drawn to light sources, this actually makes perfect sense. Many of the plankton and marine resources the fish favor are slightly luminescent, especially by moonlight, making them easily seen in the darkness. This also provides cover, given the coloration of the fish—blue or grey on top, silvery white on the bottom—so that they are not easily seen from above or below as they feed on the clouds of marine flora. Flying fish generally mate during the autumn or spring, when currents are at their weakest. Females will deposit their eggs on the surface, attached to flotsam, and males will fertilize the eggs. Schools at this time can number in the millions, and constitute a major resource for species that feed on the fish. Because they only tend to live about five years in the wild, their flesh is prized for its purity—free of the heavy metals often found in longer-lived species.
