地球——我们赖以生存的家园，在这个美丽的家园中，人们安居乐业，繁衍生息;

然而，地球是非常脆弱的，稍稍对她不好，她就会非常非常的不舒服，随之便产生地震、洪水、海啸、火山爆发等自然灾害，时刻威胁着我们的生命。

在各种自然灾害中，洪水最常见且危害又最大。洪水出现频率高，波及范围广，来势凶猛，破坏性极大。洪水不但淹没房屋和人口，造成大量人员伤亡，而且还卷走人们居住地的一切物品，包括粮食，并淹没农田，毁坏农作物，导致粮食大幅度减产，从而造成饥荒。洪水还会破坏工厂、厂房，通讯与交通设施，从而造成对国民经济部门的破坏。

洪水形成的原因是多方面的。主要是地球植被的破坏，导致自然环境恶化而发生洪水，例如：我们陕西的渭南地区，因为渭河、洛河、黄河的水，在潼关交汇，三河的水遇在一起，不能及时流往下游，整个聚集在渭南的华阴、潼关等地。使渭河水开始倒流，形成洪水。而其主要的原因是由于人们随意滥垦滥伐，造成坡地土表面失去保护物，土质变疏松，使大量水土流失，许多淤泥沉积在河床，使河床升高，造成洪水泛滥，这实际上也是大自然对肆意破坏环境的惩罚。

让我们再看看现在的地球，灾难频繁发生，我们平静，安定的生活常常会受到它的袭击。但这又能怪谁呢?只不过是人类自己在吞食自己种下的恶果。因为很多灾难的出现与我们很多的、盲目的破坏性生产活动有关，为了使我们的家园不再遭到破坏，为了使我们的生命不再受到威胁。我们人类就必须好好的保护地球，爱惜地球，好好的保护我们的生存环境，为我们和后人创造一个美好的家园。

One day Sun Wukong together with his master and brothers was walking across a river. Suddenly his master fell off the horse by the bad smell of river water. They found the water so dirty that they could hardly breathe.

A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straight into the river which made the river water polluted. In this way most of the fish in the river were killed. If the river water all over the country is polluted like this, no living things will exist in the water. Now more and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is. Our government is doing her best to take measures to fight against pollution. We expect that the water in every river will be made cleaner and cleaner before long.

One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world.

With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Because of population expansion and overdevelopment, resources has become less and less. Trees on the hills have been cut down, and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man’s existence.

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.

水，滋润万物，是生命之源。长江、黄河孕育了华夏文明；亚马逊河创造了神秘的玛雅文明；尼罗河是古埃及文明的存在基础；幼发拉底河、底格拉斯河使两河文明成为了中亚地区的历史宝库中的璀璨明珠。

不仅如此，就连科学家也因火星上有与冰痕相似的痕迹而兴奋不已。因为水的存在，所以生命才得以发展……我们誉黄河为“母亲河”，而我们却不止一次听到黄河水质继续变差或黄河断流等一些让人尴尬的消息。不停地排放化学污水、过度汲水是造成这些恶果的主要原因，而人类就是整个事件的罪魁祸首，但并不是所有的人都那样做，因为我们也听到保护水源的呼声越来越高。

即使人类成功地解决了上述问题，却仍避免不了由自然因素引起的水害问题。如果不是这样，就不会有禹三过家门而不入的故事，也不会有98年那样壮大的抗洪救灾场面，那我们炎黄子孙的精神也就得不到体现。“水滴石穿、绳锯木断”。水，看似柔弱，却能把坚石滴穿，汇成洪流，更可穿峡破谷，一往无前。水是这样地顽强，但人类的精神决不会比它弱，否则的话水早已将人打败了。

水不仅孕育了生命，表现了顽强，还见证了古往今来的悲欢离合，演绎了那么多可歌可泣的故事。“风萧萧兮易水寒，壮士一去不复返”、“孤帆远影碧空尽，唯见长江天际流”、“桃花潭水深千尺，不及汪伦送我情”，这些脍炙人口的名句包含了多少辛酸、无奈。屈原投汩罗江、项羽自刎于乌江旁，这两个故事也足以让人感到一丝凄凉。所以说水是历史的“见证人”，历史的车轮在不断转动，水也在不停息地向前流去。

总而言之，水，就是那么神奇，孕育生命、一往无前、演绎悲欢离合，不论三个中的哪一个都足以让我们沉思良久。

It is known to everyone that the unrestrained slaughter of wild animals has diminished the number of some endangered species. More and more species are being driven to extinction every year. It is terrible to think that magnificent animals are being sacrificed to human vanity

There are already laws enacted to prevent the importation of rare animals and the products made from their flesh, skin and bones.

These laws must be strictly enforced. Violators of these laws must be severely punished .Moreover, the public must be informed about the natural treasures we stand to lose .If we don’t take immediate action, we will be depriving future generations of our most precious heritage.

In Taiwan, because most people do not understand the importance of wildlife, the wildlife is in a poor situation. We Chinese are fond of eating anything delicious, so there are many animals killed by hunters. People enjoy eating tigers, bears, birds, and lions, so there are fewer and fewer birds flying in the sky and fewer and fewer bears running here and there in the forest. Instead, we often see them for sale at the market. How poor they are! And how cruel we are!

In my opinion, we should try every possible way to preserve wildlife. First, no one is allowed to hurt any wild animal. Second, the authorities concerned should punish those who kill any wild animal. Third, we should pay more attention to those endangered species to protect them from being eaten. If we can do so, nature must become very beautiful.
