My Views on Environmetal Protection

Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. People are forced to wear the mask to avoid breathing poisonous air. Some people think it is impossible to solve the problem,however,from my opinion,if we find out the reason and take effective measures the environment can be better.

If we trace the cause for haze weather,the main points are as follows,first,our countrys air quality standards are rather lax and evaluation factors are limited,so you will see that current air appraisal system has defects. Second,some people just go for economic interests instead of turning out products according to relevant law and regulations. They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. To sum up,if we work together to take out such measures,our environment will get better and better and haze weather will vanish completely.

大家听说过一句歌词吗?“当江河不再有清澈，鱼儿也失去幻雷。”其实，不单是为了让小鱼儿们的家园再次清澈明亮，更是为了让人类的生命源泉继续流淌，我们更应该节约用水，更应该保护水源。所以，为了人类明天的生活不会以泪洗面，让我们共同行动起来吧!

It is generally believed that there is a good supply of fresh water. But to our disappointment, the fact is just the opposite.

As we can see, the world population is growing rapidly day by day. So enough fresh water is needed to feed such a big population. What’s more, with the development of industry, factories and vehicles produce poisonous gases or wastes, which consequently results in the pollution of water. Though fresh, a good amount of it can no longer be used. Only quite limited fresh water resource is available to human beings. So it’s high time for us human beings to take quick action to protect water resource. Stop pollution and save water, otherwise, we cannot survive on the earth.

With fresh water, the world will be prosperous.

一滴水，可以汇聚一片海洋；一滴水，可以解救一个奄奄一息的难民；一滴水，可以滋润万物。但是，如今的世界，即将失去这宝贵的一滴水。水乃是生命的源泉，人一天不喝水，就会失去生命；鱼一离开水，就会死去；树木失去水，就会枯萎……可想而知，在我们眼里，那不起眼的水，对人们却有着非同小可的作用！

很多人都认为水是取之不尽，用之不完的永存物，但他们都错了，如果他们抱着这样的思想生活下去，大量用水，那么，总有一天，水资源将会枯竭，我们人类也将因为缺少水而从这个世界上消失。就先从我家的用水量来说吧。

我们家每天都要用掉许许多多的水。早上起来，每次都能看到爸爸边刷牙，边把水龙头开得很大，一滴滴水从水龙头中流出来，我心中不由地感叹：老爸这个习惯可真不好！于是，我就试着让爸爸改掉这个坏毛病，我采用了许多方法：第一次，我“一本正经”地把爸爸叫来，“严肃”地说：“老爸，我们家得钱是不是多得没处去啦？”爸爸百思不得其解地望着我，我大气也不喘一口地接着说：“你看看你每天浪费了多少水！刷个牙还要把水龙头开得超大，以后注意点哦！”爸爸笑眯眯地点了点头。可是正当我暗暗自喜自己制服了老爸这个“浪费鬼”时，我却意外地发现，老爸又犯“老毛病”了！哎，怎么可以把我的话当耳边风呢！我气愤不已。见此计不行，我又施一计：嘿嘿，在卫生间的墙壁上贴一张写着：“关好水龙头”的纸条，这样老爸总不会忘记了吧！哎，这么“狠”的招，居然还没有让老爸改正缺点！怎么办呢？后来，我还想了许多的方法，结果却一次比一次令我失望。望着我家被浪费的水资源，我却束手无策，急死我了！

不仅是浪费水资源的事情是当今社会最为关注的，保护水环境也是我们每位公民所要担起的职责。

我家的南边有一条长河，听爷爷说，这条河还是曾经乾隆下江南时经过的呢！这条河以前是清澈见底，还能看见鱼儿在水下嬉戏。可是，如今人们经过这条河，都要捂着鼻子，河水散发出来的臭味简直令人窒息。河的两边堆积着无数的垃圾，住在周围的人们，觉得这条河“无所不能”，平时，用河水洗洗衣服，洗洗菜；夏天天很热，大人们还会去洗洗脚……一年又一年，这条河水就变得满身伤痕，痛苦不堪。

最近几天，我常常去这条河上的桥边逛逛，看着水面上的漂浮物，看着丑陋不堪的河流，我心中有了一个疑问：难道这么严重的和污染，就没人管吗？

“水是生命的源泉、工业的血液、城市的命脉。”如果我们还不学会珍惜水资源，保护水环境，那么，我们看到的最后一滴水将是我们后悔的眼泪！同学们，让我们携起手来，一起保护我们的水资源，让这生命源泉永驻人间！

When winter comes, the topic of haze will never be ignored. When it comes, many pictures will be showed. People make fun of these pictures and they actually laugh at themselves, living with these poison air. Even in the daytime, people can’t see their faces beyond 10 meters. Many schools choose to stop the class and let the students stay at home. It is obvious that haze is a great threat to people’s health. This new type of destruction is the result of polluted environment. Businessmen chase for the profit and take the cost of polluting the environment. Now their offspring have to suffer from it. It is never too late to do something to protect our earth.

当冬季来临的时候，阴霾的话题永远不会被忽略。当雾霾到来的时候，人们会为它拍摄很多图片，之后再取笑这些照片。但是他们实际上嘲笑的是他们自己，因为他们生活在这些有毒的空气里。即使在白天，如果超过10米的话，人们都会看不见他人的脸。许多学校选择停课，让学生呆在家里。很明显，雾霾严重威胁到人们的健康。这种新型的破坏是环境污染的后果。商人们追求以污染环境为代价的利润，现在他们的后代都得遭受到恶果。现在为保护我们的地球付出努力还为时不晚。
