懵懂年纪时的我，只知道敢笑敢闹就是种自信，殊不知自信竟也是一种酷。

小时候，我最喜欢看母亲与客户交谈。虽不知他们讲得是什么，但每每看到妈妈脸上的一种十分令人振奋的微笑时，就会心中不由得产生羡慕和向往之情。而坐在对面的客户脸上也会不由得露出一种满意和赞许的表情。之后，我便迫不及待的问妈妈这是为什么？而对于我那含糊不清的述说，妈妈会耐心的去听，且会认真的告诉我，这是自信。那是又什么？看得见，摸得着吗？可以，因为那是从心里所产生的一种最美的艺术品。我便心中真正对自信有了与以往不一样的认知。

自信助我一臂之力

小学时代的我，曾有一次参加“故事大赛”的机会，虽最终成绩不太好，但却十分知足。

那天与往常把不多，湛蓝的天空，新鲜的空气，美丽里的花儿，温柔的风儿……但又有些不同——那天是我第一次参加“故事大赛”。参赛场人山人海，但四周又显得十分寂静，似乎轻轻地好一口气，都可以听到回声。大人牵着自己的孩子在参赛场左顾右盼，似乎都在衡量着自己孩子的对手。而每个孩子的脸上也都是心神不定的样子。而那时的我也是心惊肉跳的，手上出了去多汗。而在广播喊道我时，我像一个机器人“嗤嗤”地走进参赛场，而我又是一个粗心的“机器人”——忘带备忘词，而与我擦肩而过的几位选手竟都哭得泣不成声，而当时的我根本没注意到这些，而脑子里全是故事故事故事……当我讲故事讲到一半时，终于想起忘带备忘词了。我有些尴尬的看着那些面不改色的评委，无奈之下鼓足了勇气最终完成了此次比赛。而赛后，我看了看其他选手，心中不由得开始佩服自己，因为我尽力了，我做到了。

那时，我开始渐渐明白我们可以接受失败，但绝对不能接受未曾奋斗过的自己。

席慕蓉曾说过“所有最美最好的艺术品都是从人的心里自自然然生长出来的，没有任何人可以去改编去塑造。”而自信也是我心中最美最好的艺术品，我是一个自信的人。

还有很多例子。越王勾践卧薪尝胆，三千越甲可吞吴;史铁生下身瘫痪，却在轮椅上奋笔疾书;贝多芬双耳失聪，《命运交响曲》振奋人心。为人民服务的雷锋，人民的好公仆焦裕禄，刚正不阿的任长霞??他们都是当代的楷模，他们都是在做好自己能做好的事，如此地脚踏实地。

试问，现在的人们有几个能把自己能做的事情做好?我觉得，一件事情，已经做了，就要把它做好，不要给自己留下遗憾。

做好自己能做的事，是一种气概，是一种能力，是一种进步，这需要我们有“千磨万击还坚劲，任尔东西南北风”的执着精神;需要我们有“柳暗花明又一村”的乐观心态。做好自己能做的事，实际上是对我们意志、毅力、心态的考验和磨砺。

我们不能决定生命的长度，但可以控制它的宽度;我们不能做到事事顺利，但可以做到事事尽力。做好自己能做的事，让我们的人生平凡而不平庸。做好自己能做的事，成就生命的辉煌，体现生命的价值。

试题分析：对能做的工作要热爱执著。有些工作是重要的，也是有限的，不是每个人都做得到，也不是每个人都做得了的。做自己做得了的事要安心去做。

做一个好的领袖是一支燃得亮亮的蜡烛，做一个好的家庭主妇也是一支燃得亮亮的蜡烛，如果每个人都做一支燃得亮亮的蜡烛，那世界上便没有了黑暗的地方。
